Norma Freppon, 93, was devoted to family
Norma Marie Goetz Freppon of Highland Heights was the head of a family well known for its athletic involvement.
"She always valued education, and knew that sports was an avenue to achieve these goals, " said a son, Thomas Freppon of Cold Spring. Thomas Freppon said his mother was a devoted homemaker -- but no homebody.

Mrs. Freppon was a member of St. Joseph Church in Cold Spring and of the St. Mary Ladies Society.
"As one of the oldest members of St. Joseph Church, prayer was a central part of her life, " her son said. "The kids would always call her to say a special prayer for their big game or tournament."
