Kenneth Ridner, 67, retired tool designer
Kenneth Lee Ridner, of Foster, a retired tool designer for Dover Elevator Co. in Cincinnati, died at 10:45 a.m. Monday at his home. He was 67.
A native of McCreary County, Mr. Ridner loved University of Kentucky basketball and country music, said his daughter, Sonya Jacoby of Walnut Creek, Calif.
He also loved his family, said his sister, Patsy Bridewell, who lived next door to him in Foster.
Mr. Ridner kept busy after he retired "fiddling around, doing a little bit of this and a little bit of that, " his sister said. "He was a quiet man with a good heart, " she said.
Mr. Ridner was a Navy veteran of the Korean War.
Other survivors include another daughter, Carla Williams of Cincinnati; a son, Stanley Ridner of Louisville; his mother, Ruth V. Ridner of Foster; another sister, Sue Bruce of Bonifay, Fla.; and a brother, George David Ridner of Palm Bay, Fla.
Services will be at the convenience of the family.
Burial will be in Belleview Cemetery.
Memorials are suggested to the charity of the donor's choice.

George "Hounddog" Ehlinger, 46, of Glencoe, died at 7:40 p.m. Wednesday at St. Luke Hospital West, Florence. He was a janitor.
Survivors include sisters, Debbie Collins of Rising Sun, Ind., Connie Miller of Elsmere and Judy Bailey of Rabbit Hash; and brothers, Robert Ehlinger and Kenny Ehlinger, both of Burlington, Jimmy Ehlinger of Glencoe, Mike Ehlinger of Florence, Greg Ehlinger of Rightwood, Calif., and Donnie Ehlinger of Demossville.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Don Catchen and Son Funeral Home, Elsmere. Visitation will begin there at 9 a.m. Saturday. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Fort Mitchell.
Eugene Wallin Feagan, 85, of Brooksville, died Wednesday at Augusta Health Care Center. He was a federal tobacco grader and a member of Highland Christian Church, Maysville.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Day Feagan; a son, David Feagan of Alexandria; a daughter, Linda Myers of Brooksville; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Moore and Parker Funeral Home, Brooksville. Visitation will begin there at noon Saturday. Burial will be in Brooksville Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Hospice of Hope, 909 Kenton Station Drive, Maysville, Ky. 41056.
Steven J. Fisher, 52, of Petersburg, died Wednesday at St. Elizabeth Hospice Unit, Covington. He was an electrician with Cincinnati Machine Co.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Fisher; a son, Zackery Fisher of Petersburg; a brother, Mark Fisher of Cincinnati; and a sister, Linda Summe of Cincinnati.
Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, Burlington. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Linnemann Funeral Home, Burlington. Teresa Rose "Monica" McNay, 1, daughter of Gary and Angela McNay of Bellevue, died Tuesday at Children's Hospital Medical Center, Cincinnati.
Other survivors include a brother, Joseph McNay of Bellevue; sisters, Margaret McNay and Mary McNay, both of Bellevue; and grandparents, Donald and MaryLou Brown of Dayton and Marian B. McNay of Newport.
Mass of Christian burial will be at 9 a.m. Saturday at St. Pius X Church, Cincinnati. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday at A.C. Dobbling and Son Funeral Home, Fort Thomas. Ruth J. Ponchot, 79, of Fort Thomas, died at 2 a.m. Thursday at St. Luke Hospital East, Fort Thomas. She was a homemaker. Her husband, Alfred Ponchot, died in 1991. A son, Jim Ponchot, died in 1997.
Survivors include a daughter, Barbara Caudill of Fort Thomas; a son, Joe Ponchot of Edgewood; brothers, Joe Linkugel of Bellevue, Norman Linkugel of Southgate and Dan Linkugel of Fort Thomas; sisters, Betty Holcomb of Newport, Ida Daniel of Whittier, Calif., and Mary Lattner of Cincinnati; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Muehlenkamp-Erschell Funeral Home, Fort Thomas. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at from 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Floral Hills Cemetery, Taylor Mill. Memorials are suggested to the charity of the donor's choice.
Dorothy "Dot" Farwick Sansom, 83, of Cincinnati, formerly of Covington and Melbourne, died Wednesday at her daughter's home in Loveland, Ohio. She and her late husband, Carroll Sansom, worked in the antique business.
Survivors include daughters, Leisla Sansom of Jacksonville, Fla., and Martha "Sam" Glueck of Loveland; a son, Russ Sansom of Mount View, Calif.; brothers, Joe Farwick of Bellevue and Claude Farwick of Alexandria; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Fares J. Radel Funeral Home, Cincinnati. Visitation will begin there at 10 a.m. Saturday.
Burial will be in Grand View Cemetery, Mentor.

Goldie Pearl Spegal, 67, of Falmouth, died Wednesday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center South, Edgewood. She was a member of Short Creek Baptist Church, Falmouth.
Survivors include her husband, Richard Spegal; sons, Eugene Spegal of Demossville and Jerry Spegal of Falmouth; daughters, Judy Knipfer of Greenville, S.C., Margaret Pitzer of Dry Ridge, Karen Burby of Ludlow and Debbie Justice of Falmouth; brothers, lee Work of Dry Ridge and Jim Work of Falmouth; 19 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Peoples Funeral Home, Falmouth. Burial will be in Mount Carmel Cemetery, Pendleton County.
Clara Barnett Wilson, 88, of Germantown, died Thursday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center North, Covington. She was a teacher with Mason County schools and a member of Germantown Baptist Church. Her husband, Russell L. Wilson, died in 1992.
Survivors include daughters, Nancye Porter of St. Petersburg, Fla., Pat Miles of Cincinnati and June Endicott of Covington; a son, Russell B. Wilson of Laurel, Miss.; 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 3:30 p.m. Sunday at Germantown Baptist Church. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Palmer Funeral Home, Germantown. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Germantown.
