John Drummey, 'very service-minded'
John William Drummey, of Crestview Hills, a former Crestview Hills City Council member and sales manager for AAA of Cincinnati, died Tuesday at St. Charles Care Center in Covington. He was 80.
A Navy veteran of World War II, Mr. Drummey was a past president of the Navy League.
He retired in 1975 as sales manager for AAA and was a past president of the Greater Cincinnati chapter of Sales & Marketing Executives. He was elected to the Crestview Hills City Council in 1991 and served on it for seven years.
"He was very service-minded, " said Mr. Drummey's wife of 58 years, Anne Marie Finnegan Drummey. "He liked to volunteer and get involved in things around him."
Mr. Drummey donated his time to St. Elizabeth Hospital, Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport and did work for the Merchant Marine.
"He was a very outgoing person and loved to talk and tell stories, " said Mrs. Drummey. "He had a great sense of humor."
Other survivors include sons, Maury Drummey of Cincinnati, John H. Drummey II of Edgewood and Paul M. Drummey of Bradenton, Fla.; a daughter, Anne Marie Harris-Drummey of Maplewood, N.J.; and seven grandchildren.
Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Charles Care Center in Covington.
Visitation will begin at the center at 9 a.m. Saturday.
Burial will be in Highland cemetery in Fort Mitchell.

Erma Gerhardt Baugh, 96, of Southgate, died Wednesday at Hospice of Northern Kentucky, Fort Thomas. She was a saleswoman with Giddings in Cincinnati, and a member of St. John United Church of Christ in Newport, Southgate Opti-Mrs. Club, Southgate Super Seniors and National Association of Retired Federal Employees. Her husband, Elmer E. Baugh, died in 1971. There are no immediate survivors.
Services will be at noon Saturday at Muehlenkamp-Erschell Funeral Home, Newport. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Southgate. Memorials are suggested to St. John United Church of Christ, Park Ave. and Nelson Place, Newport, Ky. 41071.
Mary Flynn, 94, of Walton, died Wednesday at her home.
Arrangements are pending at Eckler-Hudson Funeral Home, Dry Ridge.
Mary Jane Gill, 53, of Fort Mitchell, died Monday at her home. She was an employee of New Perceptions in Edgewood and a member of Blessed Sacrament Church, Fort Mitchell.
Survivors include sisters, Pay DuLaney of Fort Mitchell and Nancy Hellmann of Liberty Township, Ohio.
Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Blessed Sacrament Church, Fort Mitchell. Visitation will be from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home, Covington. Margaret J. Lohmeyer, 88, of Fort Thomas, died at 12:58 a.m. Tuesday at St. Luke Hospital East, Fort Thomas. She was a homemaker. Her husband, Elmer Lohmeyer, died in 1975.
Survivors include a niece, Patricia Petroze of Newport.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Mary cemetery Chapel, Cincinnati. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Cincinnati. Radel Funeral Home, Newport, is handling arrangements.
Rosetta F. Millson, 75, of Ludlow, died Wednesday at Baptist Convalescent Center, Newport. She was a homemaker and a member of Ralph Fulton VFW Post No. 6423 Ladies Auxiliary, Elsmere.
Survivors include sons, Don Millson of Richmond, Ind., Daryl Millson of Elsmere and Darren Millson of Ludlow; a sister, Ethyl Darby of Florence; and five grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Ronald B. Jones Funeral Home, Ludlow. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Floral Hills Cemetery, Taylor Mill.
Geneva Mullins, 75, of Covington, died at 6 a.m. Wednesday at her home. She was a homemaker. Her Husband, Richard Earl Mullins, died in 1981.
Survivors include daughters, Beverly Simpson of Covington and Dorothy Embry of Owenton; a son, Edward Powell of Owenton; sisters, Dorothy Martin and Ollie Nienhaus, both of Independence; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Lance Nolte, 25, of Florence, died Tuesday at St. Luke Hospital West, Florence. He was disabled.
Survivors include a son, Drew Nolte of Florence; his parents, George and Cheryl Nolte of Florence; a sister, Mandee Nolte of Florence; and a brother, Grant Nolte of Florence.
Services will be at noon Friday at Linnemann Funeral Home, Burlington. Visitation will begin there at 11 a.m. Friday. Burial will be in Floral Hills Cemetery, Taylor Mill. Memorials are suggested to the substance abuse program of the donor's choice.
Beulah Juett Roland, 88, of Owenton, died Tuesday at New Horizon Medical Center, Owenton. She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church of Owenton and Order of the Eastern Star. Her husband, Kepple Roland, preceded her in death.
Survivors include a son, Danny Roland of Owenton; a daughter, Joyce Stack of Owenton; a brother, J.W. "Dub" Juett of Owenton; five grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Josie Waters, 78, of Ludlow, died Tuesday at her home. She was a homemaker.
A son, Eddie Waters, died in 2002.
Survivors include a son, Daryl Waters of Ludlow; daughters, Carolyn Knipp of Hebron and Peggy Rector of Ludlow; brothers, James Meece of Villa Hills and George Meece of Carrollton; sisters, Maggie Redix of Latonia, Margaritta Martin of Erlanger and Edna Mae Pemberton of Ludlow; eight grandchildren and a great-granddaughter.

Harold T. Whaley, 92, of Williamstown, died Tuesday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center South, Edgewood.
He was a retired machinist with Crawley Book Machinery Co., Newport, and Morris Machine Tool Co.
Survivors include his wife, Mildred McClanahan Whaley; a daughter, Anna Lou Roland of Crittenden; a son, Gail T. Whaley of Falmouth; a brother, Emerson Whaley of Williamstown; sisters, Ruth Simpson and Fern Lucille Thompson, both of Williamstown; four grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, Williamstown. Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Williamstown Cemetery.
