Dolores S. Thompson, had insurance agency
Dolores S. Thompson, the co-founder of Thompson-Boerger Insurance Agency in Park Hills, died March 21 at St. Charles Care Center in Covington.
The Fort Mitchell resident was 89.
She was a member of Blessed Sacrament Church in Fort Mitchell, where she belonged to the St. Mary's Ladies Society and the Gemma Guild.
Mrs. Thompson was married
for 65 years to Samuel Thompson, until his death in 1998.
"My mother and father started the insurance agency in 1945, " said their daughter, Mary Lou Boerger of Villa Hills, who continues to operate the family business with her husband.
"My parents worked at the agency for many, many years, with dad handling the sales and mother taking care of the bookkeeping."
Mrs. Thompson enjoyed singing and participating in community and family events.
"She was outgoing and liked to be involved in things, " said Boerger.
Other survivors include three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Blessed Sacrament Church in Fort Mitchell.
Visitation begins there at 9 a.m. Tuesday. Burial will be at Mother of God Cemetery.

Constance Jean Barton, 51, of Dry Ridge, died Monday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center South, Edgewood.
She was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband, Luther Barton; sons, Norman Ambrose of Cincinnati and Brian Ambrose of Dry Ridge; sisters, Roberta Offenbacker of Cincinnati and Elizabeth Smith of Dry Ridge; brothers, Tony Hildebrand of Amelia, Ohio, Patrick Hildebrand and Michael Hildebrand, both of Cincinnati, and Timothy Hildebrand of Columbus, Ohio; and two grandchildren.
No services are planned. Cremation will be at Southwest Ohio Crematory, Milford, Ohio.

Bruce J. Beimesch, 52, of Hebron, died at 8:26 p.m. Monday at his home.
He was director of research for Henkel/Cognis Co., and a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Burlington and the Greater Cincinnati Handball Association.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Beth Tepe Beimesch; a daughter, Liz Beimesch, at home; a son, Fritz Beimesch, at home; his father, Egbert Beimesch of Fort Mitchell; sisters, Martene Beimesch and Tina Beimesch, both of Lakeside Park; and brothers, Glenn Beimesch of Burlington, Wayne Beimesch of Taylor Mill and Roy Beimesch of Fort Mitchell.
Mass of Christian burial will be at 7 p.m. Thursday at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, Burlington. Visitation will be from 4 to 6:45 p.m. Thursday at the church. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Fort Mitchell.

Anita Grey O'Neal Bond, 80, of Fort Pierce, Fla., formerly of Ghent, died Tuesday in Colorado Springs, Colo.
She was a homemaker and a member of Southside Christian Church, Fort Pierce. Her husband, Robert Souther Bond, died in 1981.
Survivors include sons, Larry O'Neal Bond of Ghent and William Randall Bond of Fort Pierce; daughters, Sue Carol Bond Schou of Pocapello, Idaho, and Anita Kay Bond Fisher of Colorado Springs; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be at 7 p.m. Thursday at Southside Christian Church, Fort Pierce. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home, Carrollton. Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Ghent Masonic Cemetery.
Jackie Sue Connley, 64, of Taylor Mill, died Monday at her daughter's home in Dry Ridge. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Paul Church, Florence. Her husband, Fred Connley, died in 1990.
Survivors include sons, James Connley of Fort Thomas and Michael Connley of Crestview Hills; a daughter, Diana Sams of Dry Ridge; and seven grandchildren.
Memorial services will be at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Stith Funeral Home, Florence.

Mae Patrick Dills, 97, of Williams-town, died Tuesday at Grant Manor Care Center, Williamstown.
She was a retired teacher with Grant County and Kenton County schools, and a member of Salyersville Methodist Church, the Retired Grant County Teachers Association and Order of the Eastern Star Chapter No. 301 in Williamstown.
Her husband, Walter C. Dills, died in 1998. A son, Don Dills, died in 1963.
Survivors include sons, D.W. Dills, Carl Dills and Charles Dills, all of Dry Ridge; a daughter, Helen Wells of Sarasota, Fla.; brothers, Henry C. Patrick of Salyersville and John N. Patrick of Coral Gables, Fla.; a sister, Mabel Rice of Columbia, S.C.; 13 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Eckler-Hudson Funeral Home, Dry Ridge. Visitation will begin there at 11 a.m. Friday. Burial will be in Williamstown Cemetery.

Marian S. Duffield, 54, of Covington, died at 7:20 a.m. Sunday at her home.
She was a dietary worker with Newport Baptist Home.
Survivors include her husband, Arthur Duffield; a son, Gregory W. Duffield of Covington; daughters, Stephanie Duffield of Covington and Melissa R. Duffield of Fort Mitchell; brothers, George Thompson of Alexandria and Dale Thompson of Cleveland; sisters, Patricia Baker of Hebron and Rebecca Thompson of Newport; and three grandchildren.

Thomas A. Goetz, 77, of Owensboro, formerly of Covington, died Monday at Owensboro Mercy Health System.
He was chief air traffic controller with Owensboro Regional Airport, president of Ayer Flying Club and a member of St. Stephen Cathedral, Owensboro. He also was a Navy veteran of World War II.
His first wife, Dolores "Dee" Goetz, preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife, Carmen Rivas Goetz; sons, Danny Goetz of San Antonio and Paul Goetz of Evansville, Ind.; daughters, Donna Goetz of Owensboro and Theresa Rowe of Calhoun; a stepdaughter, Carmen Dheming Heitz of Munster, Ind.; 15 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Stephen Cathedral, Owensboro. Visitation will be from 2 to 3 p.m. Thursday at from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Friday at Glenn Funeral Home, Owensboro.

She was a retired clerk.

Loretta "Annette" McCowan, 32, of Cold Spring, died Monday at her home.
She was a homemaker.

James Russell Murphy, 45, of Verona, died Sunday at St. Luke Hospital East, Fort Thomas.
He was a sales manager with Thorton's Convenience Center and an Army veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Doris Marie Sullivan Murphy; daughters, Jamie Thomas and Cassie Murphy, both of Verona; his mother, Berttie Evelyn Engle Murphy of Florence; brothers, James William Murphy Jr. of Union and Michael Murphy of Glencoe; sisters, Kathy Niece of Warsaw, Evelyn Murphy of Burlington, Laura Tincher of Verona and Berttie Ferguson of Florence; and three grandchildren.

Alfred C. Smiley, 74, of Georgetown, formerly of Harrison County, died Sunday at Veterans Administration Hospital in Lexington.
He was a self-employed mechanic.
