Dale Duley, 77, was master woodworker
Dale Duley, 77, of Crittenden, retired manager of Lloyd's Wildlife Area and a master woodworker, died Saturday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center South in Edgewood.
He worked 32 years for the Kentucky Department of Fish & Wildlife, starting as a conservation officer in western Kentucky and culminating as manager of Lloyd's Wildlife Area in Crittenden.
Mr. Duley also was the former owner and operator of North Central Truss Co. in Crittenden.
He was a trustee of Crittenden Christian Church, a commissioner of the Bullock Pen Water District, a member of Crittenden Masonic Lodge No. 694 F&AM and North Ballard Lodge No. 537.
Mr. Duley served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was stationed in the Pacific Theater and, as a telecommunications expert, intercepted enemy codes.
"He was very quiet and kind, " said Mr. Duley's daughter, Vicki Fritz of Fort Thomas. "His family and his friends were the most important things in his life.
"He was an excellent woodworker. There are a lot of buildings in Crittenden with cabinets, shelves, book cases and desks that he made."
Other survivors include his wife of 57 years, Mildred Duley; daughters, Donna Duley of Florence, and Kym Warren of Crittenden; a son, Michael Duley of Crittenden; a brother, Fort Ray Duley of LaCenter; a sister, Robbie Armour of Henderson; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home in Crittenden.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 tonight at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Crittenden Christian Church Cemetery.

William A. Cahill, 61, of Villa Hills, died at 8 p.m. Wednesday at his home. He was a yard worker with Hellmann Lumber Co., Covington, and a member of Blessed Sacrament Church, Fort Mitchell.
Survivors include a sister, Dolores Hellmann of Fort Mitchell; and brothers, Vincent J. Cahill of Fort Mitchell, John R. Cahill of Cincinnati and Raymond E. Cahill of Lakeside Park.
Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Blessed Sacrament Church. Visitation will begin there at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Fort Mitchell. Lelia Sutton Davis, 91, of Sierra Vista, Ariz., formerly of Hebron, died Friday at Hacienda Rehabilitation Center in Sierra Vista.

Bernice M. Eades, 76, of Florence, died Friday at St. Luke Hospital West, Florence. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband, Eugene Eades; a son, Don Watson of Orange County, Calif.; sisters, Elnora Atkinson of Stanton and Estelle Johnson of Trap; brothers, Guy Martin of Norfolk, Va., and Kenneth Martin of Winchester; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Stith Funeral Home, Florence. Cremation will be at Baxter Cremation Co., Cincinnati. Memorials are suggested to the charity of the donor's choice.
Robley Hardin Sr., 76, of Port Richey, Fla., formerly of Hebron, died Saturday in Port Richey. He was a retired engineer with New York Central Railroad, a past master of Hebron Lodge No. 757 F&AM and patron of Evadell Chapter Order of the Eastern Star in Hebron. He was an Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Ruby Hardin; a son, Robley Hardin Jr. of Hebron; daughters, Roberta Turner of Hudson, Fla., Sandy Drake of Cincinnati, Carol Clark of Lawrence, Ind., and Beverly Cox of Junction City; 16 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Janet Schuerman Immegart, 72, of Newport, died Friday at Woodcrest Manor, Elsmere. She was a cook and janitor with Dayton Independent Schools.
Survivors include sons, Roy Immegart of Indiana and Richard Immegart of Independence; daughters, Sharyn Brunk of Florence and Debra Mills of Manitou Springs, Colo.; a brother, Kenneth Schuerman of California; and nine grandchildren.

Delores Ann King, 85, of Dry Ridge, died Friday at St. Luke Hospital West, Florence. She was a homemaker and a member of Williamstown Church of God. Her husband, Dewey King, died in 1971.
Survivors include a son, William Thomas King of Dry Ridge; a daughter, Sarah Wanda Pyles of Williamstown; eight grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Jackie Elizabeth Lovett, 77, of Taylor Mill, died at 11:15 p.m. Friday at Rosedale Manor, Latonia. She was a retired certified medical aide with Rosedale Manor, was a member of Latonia Baptist Church and a former volunteer with Winston Park Life Squad. Her husband, Matt Howard Lovett, died in 1998.
Survivors include a son, Ronald L. Lovett of Beavercreek, Ohio; daughters, Carolyn Ruth Holmes of Melbourne and Debra Sue Wyatt of Williamsburg; a brother, Henry Smith of Williamsburg; a sister, Clara Belle Martin of Fullerton, Calif.; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Louise Racke Metheringham, 83, of Newport, died Friday at her home. She was a retired bookkeeper with King's Shoe Repair in Newport and a seamstress with Hyde Park Clothes in Newport. Her husband, John E. Metheringham, died in 1975.

Thomas S. Moffett Sr., 89, of Covington, died Saturday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center South, Edgewood. He was a former pipefitter with Sohio Petroleum and a retired maintenance worker with Cincinnati Gas & Electric, a member of Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church and a past master of Bradford Lodge No. 123.
Survivors include his wife, Virginia Pruett Moffett; a son, Thomas Moffett Jr. of Covington; daughters, Joyce Cooper of Independence and Patricia Whitaker of Taylor Mill; a sister, Mary Rector of Newport; six grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

William T. Pieper, 80, of Fort Mitchell, died Sunday at St. Elizabeth Hospice Unit, Covington.
He was an employee of Kentucky Motors, a member of Blessed Sacrament Church in Fort Mitchell, Catholic Order of Foresters and Primetime Seniors, and was an Army veteran of World War II. A son, Terry Pieper, died in 1994.

Elwood Joseph Wilbers, 80, of Cincinnati, died at 2:55 a.m. Saturday at Mount Washington Care Center, Cincinnati. He was a retired building inspector with the city of Covington and was an Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include daughters, Diana M. Timmerding and Mariann Cahill, both of Latonia, and Lynn A. Heath and JoAnn W. Payne, both of Cincinnati; a son, James Elwood Wilbers of Jupiter, Fla.; a sister, Norma Sanning of Covington; 18 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Johnny Lee Wilson, 58, of Weston, W.Va., formerly of Owenton, died at 5:55 a.m. Friday in Weston of injuries suffered in an auto accident. He was an employee of the West Virginia Department of Highways, owner of Wilson Trucking Co. and a former manager of a Kentucky Fried Chicken restaurant and an Exxon station. He was a member of Haleville Union Mission Church in Weston, and was a Marine Corps veteran of the Vietnam War.
Survivors include his mother, Agnes Marie Palmer Wilson of Louisville and a sister, Edith Franklin of Taylorsville.
