Thomas Greene, dedicated to family, fishing and golfing
Thomas E. Greene was a dedicated fisherman and golfer, but his first interest was always his family.
Mr. Greene could be depended on to be home by 6 p.m. so he could spend the evenings with his wife and four children, said his son, Dennis Greene of Edgewood.
"I would describe him as a family man, " the younger Greene said. "He always thought about us before he thought about himself."
Mr. Greene, 64, of Edgewood, died Wednesday at his home.
He was a retired sales representative for the Phillip Morris Corp., Cincinnati.
He was extremely generous with his time and money, taking care to set up trust funds for all of his children, Dennis Greene said. He loved to putter around the house, grow his own tomatoes, and always kept the family pool in tip-top shape.
"He was very reliable, " Dennis Greene said. "Whenever we needed him for something, he was there."
In addition to his son, survivors include his wife, Eileen Toole Greene; daughters, Danette Greene of Erlanger, Deanne Chadwick-Dressman and Dana Greene Kirpes, both of Edgewood; his mother, Lily Mae Greene of Arleta, Calif.; a sister, Tracy E. Lewis of Spokane, Wash.; and five grandchildren.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Linnemann Funeral Home, Erlanger. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Floral Hills Cemetery, Taylor Mill.
Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society, 6612 Dixie Highway, Suite 2a, Florence, Ky. 41042.
Carolyn Snodgrass Anderson, 42, of Dry Ridge, died Thursday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center Grant County, Williamstown.
She was a BP station manager and a member of American Legion Post No. 4 Ladies Auxiliary, Florence.
Survivors include her daughter, Sabrina Anderson of Dry Ridge; a son, Chad Anderson of Dry Ridge; mother, Virginia Lee Snodgrass of Independence; and sisters, Teresa Reynolds, Sandy Snodgrass and Tina Wilzbach, all of Dry Ridge.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, Crittenden. Visitation will be begin at 12:01 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Warsaw Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the Carolyn Anderson Memorial Fund, P.O. Box 130, Williamstown, Ky. 41097.
Martin Bray III, 48, of Belleview, died at 8:40 p.m. Monday at his home. He was a maintenance worker with Hampton Co., Florence.
Survivors include his wife, Lana M. Bray of Ludlow; a stepson, Charles Cooper of Ludlow; a stepdaughter, Tonya Noel of Ludlow; his mother, Betty Hollandsworth of Campton; a stepsister, Tori Lozier of Campton; and five step-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at noon today in Clemons Family Cemetery, Campton.

Damien A. Camp, 15 days, of Latonia, died Thursday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center North, Covington.
Survivors include his parents, Christina and Charles Camp of Latonia; brothers, Titan Camp, Tyler Camp and Richard Camp, all at home; a sister, Faith Camp at home; and grandparents, Linda Goines of Shreveport, La., and Linda and Robert Rayborn of Corpus Christi, Texas.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Floral Hills cemetery Chapel, Taylor Mill. Burial will be in Floral Hills cemetery Baby Land, Taylor Mill.
Nancy Jane Dungan, 81, of Williamstown, died Thursday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center South, Edgewood. She was a homemaker and a member of St. William Church, Williamstown.
Survivors include her daughter, Donna Coyne of Erlanger; three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Monday St. William Church. Burial will be in Blanchet Cemetery, Grant County.
Alverta Marie "Sissy" Miller Morgan, 32, of Williamstown, died Wednesday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center North Hospice Unit, Covington. She was a homemaker and a member of Cornerstone of Faith Church, Dry Ridge.
Survivors include her son, William James Morgan II; daughters, Britney Morgan and Shawna Marie Morgan; her father, Jerry Miller I of Covington; her mother, Virginia McIntosh of Williamstown; a brother, Jerry Miller II of Berry; sisters, Destiny Gordon of Dry Ridge, Crystal Miller of Williamstown and Patricia Cook of Florence; a stepbrother, Timothy Cooper of Covington, and a stepsister, Sandra McIntosh of Dry Ridge.
Services will be at 8 p.m. today at Eckler-Hudson Funeral Home, Dry Ridge.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Burial will be in Hill Crest Cemetery, Dry Ridge.
Irene B. Noell, 89, of Owenton, died Thursday at Owenton Manor. She was a homemaker. Her husband, Joseph Ryle Noell, preceded her in death.
Survivors include a daughter, Cathy J. Capek of Owenton; sisters, Anna Belle Presser of Florence and Martha Hamilton of Hebron; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Monday in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Erlanger.

Virginia E. Schweitzer, 91, of Highland Heights, died Thursday at Northern Kentucky Care and Rehabilitation, Highland Heights.
She was a homemaker and past president of the Women's Guild at St. Paul United Church of Christ, Alexandria, and Kings and Queens Senior Citizens. Her husband, Arthur Schweitzer, and a son, Arthur L. Schweitzer, both died in 1978.
Survivors include a daughter, Valta J. Lickert of Alexandria; a son, Douglas L. Schweitzer of California; a sister, Lillian Belew of Hamilton, Ohio; nine grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, 14 great-great-grandchildren and two great-great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be at noon Monday at St. Paul's United Church of Christ. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Alexandria Funeral Home. Burial will be in Alexandria Cemetery. He was a former Kawneer employee, a retired carpenter and a farmer. His wife, Evelyn Sanders Spigles, died in August.
Survivors include a son, Robert Mosley Spigles Sr. of Harrison County; daughters, Cheryl Lane Clifford of Frankfort, Margaret Lee Stanfield of Bourbon County, Kathy Sams of Cynthiana, Pamela Joyce Earle of Harrison County and Patricia Ann Fox f Lee County; a granddaughter,, Rachel Ann Hill of Cynthiana; 11 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Brandon Lee Yocum, son of Lisa Dasti and Jeremiah Yocum of Wilder, was stillborn Tuesday at St. Luke Hospital East, Fort Thomas.
Other survivors include his brother, Antonio Dasti, at home; sisters, Tiffany Dasti, Elizabeth Yocum and Miah Yocum, all at home; and paternal grandmother, Kathleen Yocum of Wilder.
Services will be at the convenience of the family.Muehlenkamp-Erschell Funeral Home, Newport, is handling arrangements.
Rita M. McCullah Younger, 54, of Erlanger, died Tuesday at her home. She was a keypunch operator at DHL.
Survivors include her sons, Todd Younger of Covington and Troy Younger of Walton; brothers, William Gibson of Edgewood and Tommy Marlow of Cincinnati; a sister, Joyce Yarbrough of Madison Heights, Mich.; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Catchen Funeral Home, Covington. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Mother of God Cemetery, Fort Wright.
