John C. Arey, 69, of Hales Corners, Wis., formerly of Fort Thomas, died February 16 at his home.
He was an associate director of Cincinnati Chapter of the National Conference of Christians and Jews (now known as National Conference for Community and Justice) and helped establish the Police Community Relations Council in each of Cincinnati's then-seven districts. He was also of the Wisconsin Region of the National Conference of Christians and Jews, retiring in 1992 after 25 years and a member of Hales Corners Historical Society.
Survivors include his wife, Bette Benjamin Arey of Hales Corners; a daughter, Stacy Hunt of Kenosha, Wis.; a brother, Gordon "Don" Arey of Fort Thomas; and two grandchildren.

Marietta Louise Brown, 80, of Covington, died at 4:05 p.m. Tuesday at Tri-County Extended Care Center, Fairfield, Ohio.
Arrangements are pending at Connley Brothers Funeral Home, Latonia.
Carol Ann Welch Campbell, 64, of Newport, formerly of New Richmond, Ohio, died at 7:56 p.m. Saturday at her home. She was a bookkeeper for the billing department at Christ Hospital, Cincinnati.
Survivors include her daughters, Victoria Lynn Allen of Covington, Cheryl Ann Cable of Newport, Donna Michelle Duhart of Pearl City, Hawaii, Brenda Janine Furnish of Crittenden and Pamela Kay Cable of Hebron; a son, Steven Gregory Cable of Hebron; 13 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 7 p.m. Thursday at Muehlenkamp-Erschell Funeral Home, Fort Thomas. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until the time of services Thursday at the funeral home.
Tessa Mae Adams Colina, 87, of Holiday, Fla., died Monday at Hernando-Pasco Hospice Care Center, New Port Richey, Fla. She was a writer/editor for Standard Publishing, and a member of First Christian Church. Her husband, Clyde Adams, died in 1946.
Survivors include her son, Dale T. Adams of Mobile, Ala.; daughters, Barbara Jean Shannon of Valle Crucis, N.C., and Debbie Robertson of Fairfield, Ohio; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, Williamstown. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Williamstown Cemetery.
James M. DeMoss, 46, of Cincinnati, died Tuesday at Mercy-Franciscan Hospice, Cincinnati. He was a salesman for Carpetland, Cincinnati.
Survivors include his stepdaughters, Kimberly Smith and Virginia Irene Smith, both of Cincinnati; a stepson, James M. DeMoss of Cincinnati; mother and stepfather, Bonnie and Ronald L. Black of Alexandria; a brother, John W. DeMoss of Brookville, Ind.; stepbrothers, Terry Black of Grants Lick, Roy Black of Alexandria, Todd Black of Fort Thomas and Tim Black of Highland Heights.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Cooper Funeral Home, Grants Lick. Visitation will be from 4 to 10 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Alexandria Cemetery.
Gwendolyn C. Hadden, 75, of Fort Wright, died February 20 at St. Luke Hospital West, Florence.

June Evelyn Hornsby, 86, of Lawrenceburg, Ind., formerly of Grant County, died Monday at Dearborn County Hospital in Lawrenceburg. She was a retired nurse's aide and homemaker.
Survivors include sons, Ronnie Wagner of Maui, Hawaii, and Dennis Wagner of Dry Ridge; a daughter, Phyllis Fisher of Lawrenceburg, Ind.; sisters, Augusta Liggett of Cincinnati, Dorothy Smith of Lexington and Helen Harrison of Racine, Wis.; a brother, Silas Fight of Wheelersburg, Ohio; six grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Eckler-Hudson Funeral Home, Dry Ridge. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of services Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in IOOF Cemetery, Corinth.
Elmer V. List, 76, of Elsmere, died Monday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center South, Edgewood. He was an iron worker and a member of Ironworkers Union Local No. 044, Knights of Columbus Fourth Degree, St. Barbara Caring and Sharing, St. Vincent de Paul and St. Barbara Church, Erlanger.
Survivors include his wife, Rosalyn List; daughters, Eve Rock of London, Mary Jo Gibbs of Florence, Judy Carbone of Darby, Mont., and Cindy Lonneman and Janet Harrison, both of Edgewood; sons, Father John E. List of Georgetown, Jerry List of West Chester, Ohio, Jim List of Erlanger, Fred List of Franklin, N.C., Ray List of Rylander, Wis., and Alan List of Elsmere; brothers, Norbert List of Erlanger and Gilbert List of Elsmere; 29 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Norma Louise Scroggins, 69, of Dry Ridge, formerly of Covington, died Monday at Gallatin Health Care Center, Warsaw. She was a member of Eastside Church of the Nazarene.
Survivors include her brother, Robert C. Scroggin of Dry Ridge; and sisters, Maxine Kennett of Florence and Carnelta Allman of Covington.

Roy Sharon, 82, of Worthville, died Tuesday at his home. He was a retired tobacco and cattle farmer, a member of Worthville United Pentecostal Church, and an Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Mae Courtney Sharon; sons, Dennis Ray Sharon and Larry Dale Sharon, both of Worthville; sisters, Evel Hensley of Georgia and Margaret Rollins of Union; a brother, Raymond Sharon of Carrollton; and two grandchildren.

Hazel Haddix Teegarden, 74, of Demossville, died Tuesday at her, home. She was a homemaker. Her husband, Charles Teegarden, and grandchildren, Sammy Teegarden and Heather Jackson, all preceded her in death.
Survivors include her sons, Ray Teegarden of Williamstown, Jerry Teegarden of Butler, Timmy Teegarden of Foster, Tommy Teegarden and Johnny Teegarden, both of Demossville, and Randy Teegarden, Jimmy Teegarden and Roy Teegarden, all of Falmouth; daughters, Kathy Jackson of Demossville and Gwendolyn Teegarden of Butler; a sister, Mary Traylor of Falmouth; 26 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.

Edna Myrtle Thompson, 94, of Falmouth, died Monday at River Valley Nursing Home, Butler. She was a homemaker. Her husband, Robert Thompson, preceded her in death.
Survivors include her daughters, Karen Flaherty of Falmouth and Marilyn Strunk of Florence; a sister, Betty Knapp of Cincinnati; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Betty Sue Walters West, 64, of Dry Ridge, died Monday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center Grant County, Williamstown. She was a certified nurse's assistant for Grant Manor Health Care, Williamstown, and a member of Grassy Run Baptist Church, Williamstown.
Survivors include her daughter, Sandra Zavodny of Dry Ridge; a son, James Lee Murphy of Dry Ridge; a brother, Wilbert Walters of Williamstown; sisters, Barbara New of Corinth and Lois Nickles, Lillian Hamm and Rosemary Williams, all of Dry Ridge; and a granddaughter.
