Joyce Doyle, secretary, loved family, singing
Joyce Ann Doyle, 55, of Florence, a secretary at Boston Gear in Florence, died Tuesday at St. Luke West Hospital in Florence.
Friends said Mrs. Doyle had not complained of any illness and was at work Tuesday when she suddenly collapsed.
She had worked at Boston Gear for 15 years.
Mrs. Doyle was a member of the Rock of Ages Ministries in Covington.
"She loved religious music and she loved to sing, " said Mrs. Doyle's sister-in-law, Myrtle Davidson.
Mrs. Doyle had seven children and 12 grandchildren.
"She loved to be with her family and friends, " said Mrs. Davidson. "She was a very outgoing person. She tried to help everyone she could.
"She had a great personality, always had a smile on her face and had a big heart."
Survivors include daughters, Tina Pemberton of West Chester, Ohio, Tonya Loudermilk of Colerain Township, Ohio, Jeanie Wilson of Warsaw and Christine Mahan of Covington; sons, Jay Pemberton and Charles Pemberton, both of Ludlow and Joe Pemberton of Covington; a sister, Donna Davidson of Erlanger; and brothers, Clyde Davidson of Florence, Henry Davidson of Independence and Jack Davidson of Burlington.
Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Friday at Linnemann Funeral Home, Erlanger. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, Erlanger.
Memorials may be made to the Joyce Doyle Memorial Fund at any US Bank.
Grace Berry, 78, of Latonia, died at 1:40 p.m. Tuesday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center South, Edgewood. She was a homemaker. Her husband, Everett Berry, died in 1972.
Survivors include sons, Everett Berry Jr. of Crittenden and John Berry of Las Vegas; daughters, Janet Cortez of Las Vegas, Betty Sturgeon of Hebron, Brenda Robinson of Edgewood and Linda Craig of Latonia; 14 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Mass of Christian burial will be at 9 a.m. Saturday at Holy Cross Church, Latonia. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday at Swindler and Currin Funeral Home, Latonia. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery, Fort Mitchell.
Vivian Coffey, 39, of Falmouth, died Wednesday at St. Luke Hospital East, Fort Thomas. She was a Pendleton County dispatcher for 911, Falmouth, and a member of Butler Full Gospel Church. A son, Kevin Ray Coffey, died in 1982.
Survivors include her husband, Thomas Coffey; a daughter, Dana Gosney of Falmouth; a son, Steven Coffey at home; mother, Edna Dillon of Butler and a sister, Tonya Williams of Butler.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Cooper Funeral Home, Grants Lick. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of services Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Butler Cemetery.
Sallie Davis, 79, of Cynthiana, died Wednesday at Edgemont Manor Nursing Home in Cynthiana. She was a retired factory worker, a former homemaker and a member of Silas Baptist Church.
Survivors include brothers, Sam Allen Irvin, Jack Irvin and William Gobel "Bud" Irvin, all of Harrison County; and sisters, Anna Charles, Lilly Martin, Tillie Vest, Helen Peak and Mattie Lucas, all of Scott County, and Rhoda Wright of Cynthiana.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Battle Grove Cemetery, Cynthiana. Visitation will begin there at 9 a.m. Friday. Memorials are suggested to Hospice of the Bluegrass, 508 E. Pike St., Cynthiana, Ky. 41031.
William C. Klingenberg, 79, of Wilder, died at midnight Monday at Carmel Manor, Fort Thomas. He was owner of Klingenberg Hardware in Fort Thomas and an Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Klingenberg; sons, David Klingenberg and Jim Klingenberg, both of Fort Thomas, Tom Klingenberg of Cincinnati and Bill Klingenberg of Boykins, Va.; a sister, Mary Ann Leisl of Fort Thomas; and six grandchildren.
Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Friday at Carmel Manor Chapel, Fort Thomas. Memorials are suggested to Carmel Manor, 100 Carmel Manor Drive, Fort Thomas, Ky. 41075. Catchen Funeral Home, Covington, is handling arrangements.
Ruth M. "Nanny" Little, 76, of Dayton, died Tuesday at Baptist Convalescent Center, Newport.
She was a cafeteria worker with St. Bernard School and a member of St. Bernard Church, both in Dayton. A son, Mike Little, died in 1990.
Survivors include daughters, Sally Baker of Bellevue, Susan Duty of Covington and Tammy Little of Dayton; a son, Wayne Little of Wilder; a sister, Lucille Fancher of Newport; 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Bernard Church.
Visitation will begin there at 9 a.m. Friday.
Burial will be in St. Stephen Cemetery, Fort Thomas.

Vida Burton Owen, 95, of Dry Ridge, died Wednesday at Owenton Manor. She was a homemaker and a member of Burnetta Baptist Church, Nancy. Her husband, Clarence Owen, preceded her in death.
Survivors include a son, Wendell Owen of Florence; a sister, Beatrice Anderson of Somerset; and three grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Lake Cumberland Funeral Home, Somerset.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Burnetta Cemetery, Nancy.
Mildred Lorene Porter, 85, of Cincinnati, died Wednesday at Vitas Hospice-Deaconess Hospital in Cincinnati.
She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church, Falmouth.
Her husband, George Marcus Porter, died in 1965.
Daughters, Mary Horton, Dora Porter and Dorothy Johnson, and a son, Ben Henry Porter, also preceded her in death.
Survivors include sons, Sammy Porter of Falmouth and Charles Oliver Porter of Cynthiana; daughters, Betty Jane Lewis of Bowling Green, Laura Jackson and Patricia Porter, both of Cincinnati; a sister, Katherine Coleman Sweat of Detroit, Mich.; 37 grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church, Falmouth.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Woodhead Funeral Home, Falmouth.
Burial will be in Crescent Hill Cemetery, Falmouth.
Ronald Lee Townsend Sr., 28, of Florence, died Monday at University Hospital, Cincinnati.
He was a member of Berean Baptist Church, Independence. A brother, Johnny Townsend, died in 2001.
Survivors include his wife, Sonya Lynn Thompson Townsend; a son, Ronald Lee Townsend Jr. of Florence; sisters, Patsy Hiatt of Dry Ridge and Linda Townsend of Florence; and brothers, Danny Townsend and Jack Townsend, both of Gallatin County, and Owen Townsend of Dry Ridge.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home, Independence.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 tonight at the funeral home.
Burial will be in New Bethel Cemetery, Verona.
