Adam Victor Feinauer, home builder
Adam Victor Feinauer, 86, of Alexandria, the largest home builder in Northern Kentucky in the 1950s, died Wednesday at his home.
Mr. Feinauer went into the construction business after World War II and in a few years was building 100 homes a year. He served as president of the Northern Kentucky Home Builders Association.

He was an avid rabbit and squirrel hunter and raised and trained beagles for field trials and hunting.
"Dad had many irons in the fire, " said Mr. Feinauer's son, Adam W. Feinauer of Fort Wright. "He was a very exceptional man.
"When he was 78, he was just as active as a 25-year-old man. He was very outgoing and helpful. He helped many people get started in business."
Hunting rabbits and squirrels was one of Mr. Feinauer's favorite activities.
"He never missed an opening day of hunting season in 70 years, " said Mr. Feinauer's son. "When he was in the Navy, he would have mom call and say that a relative had died so he could come home for the first day of hunting season."
