Douglas Matthew Blaschke, 35, of Latonia, died Friday at his home. He was a shipping clerk for Firestone Building Products Co., Latonia.
Survivors include his wife, Teri Blaschke; sons, Douglas Matthew Blaschke of Lexington, and Christopher Joseph Blaschke at home; stepsons, Josh Nolan and Matthew Gibson, both of Latonia; his father and stepmother, David and Ethel Blaschke of Covington; his mother, Mary Louis Blaschke of St. Petersburg, Fla.; a brother, David R. Blaschke of Covington; a sister, Lora Louise Bolton of Covington; and a step-grandchild.
Mass of Christian burial was this morning at St. Anthony Church, Taylor Mill. Burial was in Mother of God Cemetery, Fort Wright. Memorials are suggested to St. Elizabeth Hospice, 401 E. 20th Street, Covington, Ky. 41014. Swindler and Currin Funeral Home, Latonia, handled arrangements.
Brenda Prescott Bradford, 56, of Florence, died Saturday at her home. She was a secretary with Boone County Public Works and a member of Latonia Christian Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Debbie Webster Craddock of Petersburg; her mother, Mary Prescott of Elsmere; a sister, Charlotte Spikes of Indianapolis; brothers, Wayne Prescott of Elsmere, and Billy Prescott of Florence; and two grandchildren.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Latonia Christian Church. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the church. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Erlanger. Dorothy A. Brown, 79, of Florence, died Friday at St. Luke Hospital West, Florence. She was a restaurant worker and a member of Hotel, Restaurant and Waiters Association Union Local No. 12.
Survivors include her husband, William N. Brown of Florence; daughters, Cora Sue Bradford of Cottage Grove, Minn., and Sharon Castor of Florence; a son, Michael W. Brown of Chesterfield, Mo.; a sister, Wanda Bird of Cincinnati; a brother, Edward Sweeney of Cincinnati; eight grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Stith Funeral Home, Florence. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 tonight at the funeral home. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Southgate.
Fannie Geneva Morris Brown, 81, of Edgewood, died Saturday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center South, Edgewood. She was a homemaker and a former assembly line worker with Wright's Aeronautical Aircraft Co. in Dayton, Ohio. Her husband, Golden Bell Brown, died in 1993.
Survivors include a daughter, Nora Lee Trent of Edgewood; nine half-sisters, four half-brothers, a granddaughter and two great-grandsons.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Shield of Faith Pentecostal Church, Newport. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 tonight at Fares J. Radel Funeral Home, Highland Heights. Kathleen Ilg Chenot, 71, of Cold Spring, died Friday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center South, Edgewood. She was a homemaker and attended Cold Spring Baptist Church. She was a member of Brighton Center Seniors, Hilltop Seniors, the American Association of Retired Persons and the Wilder Fire Department Auxiliary. A son, Daniel Chenot, preceded her in death.
Survivors include her husband, Melvin Chenot; sons, Gary Chenot of Highland Heights, and Melvin Chenot Jr. of Bellevue; daughters, Diane Coyle of Covington, and Deborah Quraga of Erlanger; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Dobbling Funeral Home, Fort Thomas. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Erlanger.
Aloma Rose Cole, 58, of Newport, died Saturday at St. Luke Hospital East, Fort Thomas. She was a retired nutritionist with St. Luke Hospitals.
Survivors include her husband, Bill Cole; sons, William Cole, Charlie Cole, Lonnie Cole and John Cole, all of Newport; a brother, Wayne Sipples of Versailles, Ind.; and 12 grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Fares J. Radel Funeral Home, Newport. Visitation will begin there at 10 a.m. Wednesday. Burial will be in Alexandria Cemetery.
Dennis Kleier, 40, of Florence, died Saturday at Florence Speedway. He was a service agent with DHL and raced cars.
Survivors include a son, Chris Kleier of Independence; his mother, Marita Kleier of Florence; his fiancee, Angela Kaukas of Florence; and two grandchildren.

Coy Liles, 77, of Leesburg, Fla., formerly of Wilder, died June 9 in Florida. He was a former Wilder city councilman, owner of a liquor store and an Army veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Betty J. Liles; a son, Jim Liles of Edgewood; a daughter, Sandy Noble of Florence; a stepson, Ken Arrington of Cold Spring; step-daughters, Jane Arnsparger of Southgate, and Linda Blackwell of Independence; a brother, Charles Liles of Minnesota; a sister, Geneva Bowling of Newport; sisters, Opal Edington and Marie Edington, both of Vanceburg; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. July 13 at Church of God, Newport. Central Florida Cremation, Tavares, Fla., is handling arrangements.
Leota Mathis, 90, of Florence, died Friday at St. Luke Hospital West, Florence. She was a retired teacher with Walton-Verona schools, and a member of Greenview Baptist Church and the Kentucky Retired Teachers Association. Her husband, Willie Mathis Sr., died in 1999.
Survivors include a son, Willie Mathis Jr. of Florence; and two granddaughters.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Stith Funeral Home, Florence. Visitation will begin there at 12:30 p.m. Burial will be in New Bethel Cemetery, Verona.
Elizabeth Marie Moreland Newkirk, 98, of Butler, died Sunday at Front Gate Rest Home, Butler. She was a teacher with Butler High School and a member of Flour Creek Christian Church. Her husband, Leonard L. Newkirk, died in 1972.
Survivors include a son, Robert Newkirk of Laurel, Md.; a granddaughter and two great-grandsons.

Raymond "Buck" Ray, 70, of Ghent, died Saturday at his home. He was a retired inspector, a past president of the Kentucky Kruizers car enthusiast club and a member of the Carroll County Chamber of Commerce.
Survivors include his wife, Judith Motz Ray; a son, Michael Ray of Lakeland, Fla.; daughters, Connie Velock of Independence, and Kim Ernst of Fort Wright; brothers, James Ray of Carrollton, and David Ray of Crestwood; and six grandchildren.

Betty Sue Smith Rue, 64, of Kingsport, Tenn., died Saturday at Wellmont-Holston Valley Medical Center in Kingsport.
Survivors include a son, Glen Haggard of Bromley; daughters, Susie Whiteker of Dry Ridge, Michelle Erskine of Erlanger, Tammy Brown of Covington and Becky Rue-Walker of Foster; her mother, Viola Smith; a sister, Audrey Morton of East Stone Gap, Va.; a brother, Toby Smith of Covington; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 8 tonight at Holding Funeral Home, Bog Stone Gap, Va. Visitation will begin there at 6. Burial will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Glencoe Cemetery, Big Stone Gap.
Hazel Schmidt, 93, of Cincinnati, formerly of Kenton Hills, died Sunday at Deupree Center, Cincinnati. She was a homemaker. Her husband, Edward Schmidt Jr., died in 1971.
Survivors include a daughter, Marge Misali of Cincinnati; a son, Edward D. Schmidt of Cincinnati; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Opal Lane Stewart, 79, of Dry Ridge, died Saturday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center Grant County, Williamstown. She was a homemaker and a member of Sherman Church of Christ. Her husband, Clarence Stewart, preceded her in death.
Survivors include daughters, Alma Nolan of Stanton, Ceberta Thomas of Williamstown, Evalyn Adams, Janice Stone, Edna Whaley and Kathy Burgess, all of Dry Ridge; sons, Glenn Stewart and Garney Stewart, both of Dry Ridge; sisters, Nancy Hull of Winchester and Lorene Thornton of Tennessee; brothers, William R. Lane of Lexington, Edgar C. Lane of Tennessee, Onlie C. Lane of Shepherdsville, Victor Lane of Ravenna, and George Lane and Donlie K. Lane, both of Irvine; 21 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.

Maurice Thomas, 75, of Alexandria, died at 3:40 a.m. Sunday at St. Luke Hospital East, Fort Thomas. He was a retired carpenter with Overhead Door, Cincinnati, and a member of Campbell County VFW Post No. 3205 in Alexandria and Aspen Grove Lodge No. 397 F&AM. He was an Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Audrey Thomas; daughters, Mindy Connell of Grants Lick, and Sally McNichols of California; a son, Jim Thomas of Alexandria; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
