J. W. "Butch" Burnett

J. W. “Butch” Burnett, 64, Born in 1946, in Kansas City, KS, Butch was the eldest of four children death by his brother Fritz, father Joseph, and beloved wife Pamela.
He is survived by his daughter Leslie Burnett; his daughter and her husband, Megan and Travis Salmela, and their children Aidan and Charlotte of Crystal, MN; and his son, Joseph William “Chip” Burnett, III of St. Paul, MN; his mother Virginia Anderson of Hackensack, MN; his sisters Barbara Spleiss of Minneapolis, MN and Kay Martin of Staples, MN; his mother-in-law Alyce Hanson of Alexandria, MN; his sister-in-law Sari Jo Burnett, Puerto Rico; his brother-in-law Richard (Theresa) Hanson and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Memorial services will be held in Grand Rapids, MN at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church at 11:00 AM on Saturday, June 4th; visitation will occur in the hour preceding the ceremony.
All are welcome to celebrate the life of J.W. Burnett. Rev. Lynn Ronsberg will officiate.

Karen Mae Kassuelke, age 53, of North Mankato, born January 10, 1951 in Mountain Lake to Franklin and Myrtle (Tonneson) Ratzlaff. She graduated from Mountain Lake High School, attended Mankato Technical School, and was furthering her education via an online program. On September 3, 1972, she was death by her parents and a brother, Paul.

Jeffery L. Lane
Mankato resident, Jeffery L. Lane, age 45, died at her home August 17, 2004.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Sunday, August 22, 2004 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church with Rev. Mary Iverson officiating. Visitation is 4 to 7 p.m., Saturday at Woodland Hills Funeral Home and continues one hour prior to the service.
Delight N. Schuneman
Delight N. Schuneman, age 89, of Mankato, died Saturday, August 14, 2004, at Hillcrest Health Care Center in Mankato.
Private family graveside services will be held at Woodland Hills Memorial Park in Mankato. There will be no visitation.
Anna was died Thursday, August 12, 2004 at Immanuel-St. Joseph’s Hospital in Mankato.
Funeral service 11:00 a.m. Monday at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Mankato, with Rev. Norman Greve of Salem Lutheran Church, Eagle Lake officiating. Burial in Tivoli died Tuesday, August 10, 2004 as a result of a truck accident. Memorial services will be held 12 noon Saturday at Ostmark Lutheran Church in Watkins, Minnesota. Visitation will be held from 10 -11:30 a.m. at the Johnson Hagglund Funeral Home in Litchfield. Burial will be held in Ripley passed away peacefully Monday, Feb. 20, 2012, at Keystone Communities.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Mankato, with burial in Calvary born in Bird Island, MN on April 4, 1914 to Peter and Anna Weis. She was the fifth of nine children. Leone graduated from Bird Island St. Mary's High School and Mankato Commercial College. She worked at McFalls Cleaners as an office manager. Leone was united in marriage to Rudy Salfer on May 6, 1940 at SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church. She was known for her great pies, culinary arts, beautiful embroidery work, love of fishing and playing bridge. Leone was a great story teller with a wonderful sense of humor. At one time she was a member of the Elks and Mankato Golf Club. Leone's family wishes to thank the wonderful staff at Keystone for the love and care they gave this past year.
Leone is survived by her daughter Kathleen and son-in-law Fred Winter; granddaughters, Kara (Todd) Ellinger of Minnetrista, MN; Melissa (John) Sheridan of Phoenix, AZ; Melanie (Keith) Fisher of Roswell, GA; great grandchildren, Hunter and Wyatt Ellinger; Emma and Claudia Sheridan; Abby Fisher; sister, Genevieve Sorenson of St. Paul; sisters-in-law, Lilian Weis of Redwood Falls and Helen Kann of Marion, IA.
Leone was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two brothers, Cy and Raymond Weis; five sisters, Janet Krueger; Faye Braun; Sister Leone; Lou Reimers and Addie Kindle.
