Jones, Kenneth E.
Kenneth E. Jones, age 89 of Lake Crystal (Judson) Cemetery. Visitation on Monday from 4-7 p.m. at Mankato Mortuary and one hour before services at church on Tuesday.
Mr. Jones was death by his parents.
Bryant Warren
Bryant M. Warren, age 86, of Mankato, born on September 10, 1918 in Brandon, Manitoba, Canada. He was the son of George and Lily (Thompson) Warren. Bryant was united in marriage to Dolores Frick on February 3, 1939 in Winnipeg, Canada. He attended NDAC and became an American citizen in 1941. During WWII, Bryant served with the U.S. Air Transport Command. In 1952, he moved with his wife and children to North Mankato. Bryant was employed as a sales representative in the agriculture industry. Following his retirement in 1975, he and Dolores moved to Naples, FL. Bryant was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Mankato. He enjoyed gardening, and playing golf and tennis.
Bryant is survived by his wife, Dolores; a daughter and her husband, Ann and Fred Schmidt of Shelburne, VT; a son and his wife, George and Mary Warren of North Mankato; five grandchildren, Jenny and Tony Warren, Kate and David Schmidt, and Amy Turner; four great-grandchildren; one nephew, Ted Bolte of Minot, N.D.
Eileen Sprint
Eileen E. Sprint, age 85, of Mankato, Interment will be in Woodland Hills Memorial Park. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service.
Memorials are preferred to Luther Memorial Home in Madelia.
Eileen was married Howard Sprint in Farmington, MN. They moved to Mankato in 1951. She was a homemaker, pianist and had worked as a cashier. She enjoyed fishing, reading, and music.
Eileen is survived by 4 sons, James of Mankato, Stephen of Burnsville, Michael of Eagle Lake, and Mark (Karen) of St. Cloud; 4 grandchildren, Thomas Sprint, Michelle Smith, Matthew Sprint, Jacquie Sondag; 5 great grandchildren, Jesse Sprint, Amanda Sondag, Matthew Sondag, Sydney and Spencer Smith; 1 brother, Merlin Knauss of Indiana; 1 sister, Carol Lupo of New York.
She was preceded in died Wednesday, March 9, 2005 at Immanuel St. Joseph’s Hospital. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 12, at Woodland Hills Funeral Chapel. Visitation will be 1 hour before services at the chapel. death by his father William F. Shouts and 1 brother Daniel Shouts.
Julio Gasteiro
Julio Peter Gasteiro, age 82, of North Mankato, born October 23, 1922, in Brooklyn, NY. He was the one of two children born in Spain and moved, met and married June Katherine Bidwell in Rutherford, NJ. They had one daughter, Juliet, who was died in November, 1996. In 1999, he moved to Mankato, where he passed away Tuesday, March 1, 2005 at the Lake Crystal Health Care Center.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 5 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church.
Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m., Friday, at Woodland Hills Funeral Home and will also continue one hour prior to the service at the church. born November 18, 1914, in Mapleton to Elmer and Anna (Olson) Phelps. She attended Mankato area schools and Lincoln Jr. High School in Mankato.

George M. Nielsen Sr. and Judith M. Nielsen
Mankato area residents, George M. Nielsen Sr. and Judith M. (Hathaway) Nielsen, born May 28, 1939 in Mankato to Carl C.A. Sr. and Linnie (Wilson) Nielsen. George had worked for Lundin Construction for many years until he was injured in 1972 and became disabled. George enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, the great outdoors, going for long rides with Judy, country music, music festivals and John Wayne movies. He also like eating wild game he had hunted and Judy cooked for him and the family.
Judith was married on October 15, 1959 in Mankato and together they raised seven children. They were loving parents and grandparents and loved to be surrounded by their family and friends.
George and Judith are survived by 7 children, Kathy (Dale) George of Mankato, George Jr. “Sonny” (fiancé, Rhonda) Nielsen of Colorado, Anna (Mike) Hagan of Mankato, Douglas (Connie) Nielsen of Mankato, Judith “Dee Dee” Nielsen of Shakopee, Carla Nielsen (special friend, Rick Pongratz) of Mankato, Tammy (Ray) Nagel of Litchfield; 21 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; sisters; brothers; sisters-in-law; brothers-in-law, many nieces, nephews; and special friend, Tiny.
They were preceded in death by their parents, a son at birth, 1 grandson, brothers and sisters.
