Viola C. Laird
Viola Catherine Laird, age 94 of Mankato, Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Thursday at Mankato Mortuary with a 6:30 p.m. prayer service. Visitation will continue one hour prior to services at the church on Friday. Memorials are preferred to St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Mankato Lutheran Home or to an organization of the donor’s choice.
Viola was married Dallas J. Laird in Mankato. For many years, Viola was a clerk and buyer for Brett’s Department Store and retired in 1974.
Viola was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. She enjoyed dancing, reading, playing bridge and was an avid Twins fan.
Survivors include her three children and their spouses, Sandra and Phil Middleton of Kansas City, KS, Connie and James Skalicky of Owatonna, Patrick and Dianne Laird of Mankato; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; three sisters, Armella Kellen and husband, Leo of Mankato, Alvina Crowley of Iona, MN, Rita McDonald of Duluth, MN; three brothers and their wives, Joe and Florence Disch of Slayton, Gene and Eleanor Disch of Duluth, Jack and Mary Ann Disch of Fairfield, OH; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in died Tuesday, April 12, 2005 at Madelia Community Hospital, Madelia.
Funeral service 2:00 p.m. Thursday, April 14, 2005 at the First Presbyterian Church, Lake Crystal, with Rev. Randal Lubbers officiating. Cemetery. Visitation on Wednesday, April 13, 2005 from 4-7 p.m. at Lake Crystal Mortuary and one hour before services at the church on Thursday. Memorial may be given to the Madelia Community Hospital or Donor’s Choice.
Willard was born for 95 years and then sold it to his grandson. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Lake Crystal. Willard and Leda wintered in Florida and Texas from 1966-1997. Willard enjoyed traveling, reading, visiting with family and friends and his grandchildren.
He is survived by three sons, Michael “Mick” Davis and wife, Laurel of rural Lake Crystal, John Davis and wife, Connie of Nevis, Douglas Davis and wife, Candy of North Mankato; nine grandchildren, Ginny (Lou) Darr, Jeffery (Christi) Davis, Katherine (Mike) Lindquist, Kara (Aaron) Mullen, Blake (Amy) Davis, Sara (John) Nelson, Emily (Dennis) Rudie, Amanda (Scott) Bohlke, Lindsey (Mike) Kuntz; 14 great-grandchildren, Heidi, Cole and Samantha Davis, Rhonda Darr, Marcie, Erin and Megan Lindquist, Khrystiyan and Kyleigh Mullen, Katherine and Marit Nelson, Nicholas and Brynn Bohlke, Benjamin Rudie; nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in died at home, Saturday, March 19, 2005. Funeral services will be 11:00 am Wednesday, March 23, 2005 at St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in North Mankato. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm Tuesday at Woodland Hills Funeral Home and will continue 1 hour before services at the church. born December 5, 1933 in Currie MN to Harold and Luella (Darger) Bistrup. He served in the United States Army from 1954 to 1956 and is a member of the American Legion. Ken death by his parents, 3 sisters and 2 brothers.
Elma Smith
Elma Rosella Roberts Smith, 88, of Mankato, born July 8, 1916 in Mankato, MN to Hannah (Flowers) and Robert Roberts. She grew up and attended school in Mankato. She death by her husband, Bob, daughter, Carol, Two grandchildren, son-in-law, Carl Mace, her parents, one sister and five brothers.

Connie A. Reisenbigler, 60, of Westminster, CO Interment is in Woodland Hills Memorial Park, Mankato, MN.
Connie is survived by her husband, Jerome; children, Denis (Julie) Dahly, Rick (Sheila) Reisenbigler, Judy (Reisenbigler) Anderson, Paula Nielson, Mike (Michelle) Reisenbigler, Scott Reisenbigler; mother, Artis Haaggenson; 11 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
Judith Ann Schubbe
Judith Ann Schubbe age 64 of Kasota, Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Friday at Mankato Mortuary and one hour prior to services at the church on Saturday.
Judy was married Ronald Baumann. They later divorced. On March 11, 1989, she death by her parents; a stillborn granddaughter, Kacy Jo Thompson; father-in-law, Wes Schubbe; and brother-in-law, David Fjelstad.
Noah Harry Hoeppner
Noah Harry Hoeppner, 7 week old son of Michael and Kelli (Angew) Hoeppner, of North Mankato, Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. on Thursday at Mankato Mortuary, and continues one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday.
Noah was death by his paternal grandparents, Harry and Elsie Hoeppner.
