Lloyd G. Potts, age 78, of Mankato, Cemetery in Mankato. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at church on Wednesday. Mankato Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
Joseph A. Mollenkopf
Joseph A. “Doc” Mollenkopf, D.V.M., age 61, born April 21, 1944 to Norman and Ruth (Wastell) Mollenkopf in Anderson, Indiana. He attended Ingalls grade school and graduated from Pendleton High School in 1962. He graduated from Purdue University with a degree in Veterinary Medicine in 1969. Joe practiced Vet Medicine in Wisconsin prior to joining Hubbard Milling Co. of Mankato in 1978 as a staff veterinarian in the feed department. He acquired ownership of Mankato Pet Hospital in 1995 and currently practiced there. Joe belonged to the American Veterinary Medical Association, Minnesota and Wisconsin Veterinary Medical Associations, Ducks Unlimited, Mankato Moose Lodge, Sons of the American Legion, Purdue University Alumni, and Bass Angler Sportsman Society. Joe enjoyed hunting, fishing, NASCAR and gardening. He was also an avid Green Bay Packers Fan and John Deere toy collector.
Joe is survived by his daughter, Julie Larson and her husband, Steve of Eagan; son, Jamey Mollenkopf and fiancé, Michelle Cline of Mankato; grandchildren, Michael and Emily Larson; father, Norman Mollenkopf of Pendleton, IN; soul mate, Nanci U. Meyers of Mankato; Nanci’s son, Bryon Meyers and his wife, Tanja and their son, Max of Brooklyn Center; brother, Roger Mollenkopf and his wife, Barbara; sister, Sherry Mollenkopf all of Pendleton, IN; two step-sisters, Beryl Rydberg of Spooner, WI, Kathleen Erickson and her husband, Duane of Effingham, IL; special nephew, Matthew Sheetz, nephews, Jason, Justin, and Garrett; aunt, Opal Lewis; friends, Tom and Cheryl Brockberg of Mankato; many cousins, extended family and friends including the Umhoefer family and dedicated Mankato Pet Hospital Staff.
Joe was preceded in death, Joe was an organ donor thru Life Source.
Melvin Brown
Melvin Brown, 80, of New Ulm and formerly of St. George, Cemetery. Visitation is 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Minnesota Valley Funeral Home in New Ulm, with a 6 p.m. Catholic Order of Foresters rosary and a 7:30 p.m. parish prayer service. Visitation continues 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Memorials are preferred in lieu of flowers.

Jack Heinitz, 83, of Mountain Lake Cemetery. Visitation is 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. today at Bjerum Funeral Home in Mountain Lake and one hour before services Wednesday at the church.

Adolph Brekken, 88, of rural St. James Cemetery in rural St. James. Visitation is 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday and 8 a.m. to noon Monday at Pease Funeral Home in St. James and one hour before services Monday at the church.
Albert William Carpenter
Albert William Carpenter, 88, of Waseca, Cemetery in Waseca. Visitation is 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at Kinder-Dennis Home for Funerals in Waseca and will continue on Friday one hour before services at the church.
Maria Alicia Wellman
Maria Alicia Wellman, 73, of St. James died Thursday, Oct. 26, 2006, at Trimont Health Care Center. Memorial services are 2 p.m. Sunday Oct. 29 at First Lutheran Church in Trimont, with burial in the church died Monday, Oct. 30, 2006, at his home. Services are 11 a.m. Friday Nov. 3 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Sleepy Eye, with burial in the parish died Tuesday, Oct. 31, 2006, at Oak Hills Living Center in New Ulm. Services are 11 a.m. Friday Nov. 3 at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in New Ulm, with burial in New Ulm City Funeral Service in New Ulm and one hour before services Friday at the church.
Harriet Stavenau
Harriet A. Stavenau, age 84, of Rapidan Township, Interment will be in St. John Lutheran born on April 15, 1922 in Rapidan Township, Blue Earth County, MN. She was the daughter of Grover and Alvina (Heitner) Kunkel. Harriet was a graduate of Rapidan High School. She was united in marriage to Alonzo H. Stavenau on June 29, 1947 in Rapidan. Harriet was a homemaker and also assisted Alonzo with their farm. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Rapidan, where she had participated in the Lutheran Women's Missionary League and the Ladies' Aid. She enjoyed gardening, quilting, embroidery, and raising farm animals.
Harriet is survived by her two sons, David (Gwen) Stavenau of Rapidan Township and James (Roxanne) Stavenau of Kansas City, MO; three granddaughters, Shalan (Chris) Stroud of Blue Springs, MO, and Kelsey and Melanie Stavenau of Rapidan Township; also nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in died Tuesday, Oct. 24, 2006, at St. Peter. Memorial services are 10:30 a.m. Nov. 8 at Church of the Nativity in Cleveland, with visitation one hour before services. Private burial services are planned. Cremation Society of Minnesota in Minneapolis handled arrangements.

Sharon Laura Hueper, 66, of rural Wells Cemetery. Visitation is 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at Bruss-Heitner Funeral Home in Wells and one hour before services Friday at the church.

Emily Herr, 20, of St. Peter died Friday, Oct. 27, 2006. Services are 11 a.m. Wednesday at Trinity Lutheran church in St. Peter. Visitation is 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday at St. Peter Funeral Home and one hour prior to services Wednesday at the church.
