Funeral Services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, October 29, 2007 at Atonement Lutheran Church, St. Cloud for Barbara J. Odegaard, 86, who Interment will be in Old East Paint Creek born on March 12, 1921 in Wausau, WI to Edward Thayer and Byrdena Lucille (Irvin) John. She attended elementary school in Milwaukee, WI, Muskegon, MI and Clinton, IA. She attended high school in Effingham, IL for 3 _ years and graduated from Washburn High School in Minneapolis, MN in 1938. She graduated from Iowa State University, Ames, IA in 1942 with a B.S. Degree in Textiles and Clothing. She was elected to Psi Chi, an honorary Psychology Society in 1942.She death by her parents, sister, and granddaughter, Stephanie Schmidt. She is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Alf, her four children: Judy (Steve) Heslop of Pequot Lakes; Susan (Terry) Schmidt of St. Cloud; Louise of Reno, NV; and John (Barbara) of Purcellville, VA; grandchildren: Jennifer (John) Japel of Livermore, CA; Katie (Shane) McCarthy of Phoenix, AZ; Jackie Heslop of Woodridge, IL; Katherine, Adam and Lauren Odegaard of Purcellville, VA; and her great-grandchildren: Tyler and Jack Japel of Livermore, CA.Memorials are preferred.

Marjorie Naomi Blom was married Bertrand Blom on July 8, 1951. He survives her as well as their 3 sons: Paul (Marsha) Blom and Morris Blom of Bricelyn, MN; and Bryan (Tammy) Blom of Byron, MN; 5 grandchildren Melanie (Victor) Ferris of Minneapolis, Mark Blom of Bricelyn, Megan (Nathan) Eitzmann of Hardy, NE; and Andrea and Kristin Blom of Byron, MN. Also one brother: Gene Monson of Portland, OR; and a sister-in-law: Sylvia Wulff of Albert Lea.She was preceded in died on 10-23-07.Preceded in Interment St. Casimir’s Catholic died October 23, 2007, at the United Hospital, Blue Earth.Memorial services will be held on Monday, October 29, 2007, at 11:00a.m., at the First United Methodist Church in Winnebago, with Rev. Lora Sturm officiating. Burial(family only) will be in Glenwood born July 13, 1924, in Fairmont, Mn., the son of John A. and Mayme (Erickson) Mayer Sr.. At an early age his family moved to Mankato. Upon graduation from High School, John enlisted in the U.S. Navy and served in the South Pacific aboard the USS Epping Forest until his discharge in May of 1946.He married life working as a telegrapher for Chicago Northwestern Railroad. John and family moved to Winnebago in 1956 where he was the last station agent for the railroad.When the station closed John went to work for the First National Bank of Winnebago and spent the next 30 years managing the First National Insurance Agency. John was active in the community as a member of the volunteer fire dept., school board, American Legion Post #82, Masonic Lodge and the United Methodist Church Men’s Group. He retired in 1986 and spent summers at the cabin in Pequot Lakes and winters in Misson, TX.The time spent with his family, friends, children and grandchildren were John’s greatest joy. He was also an avid outdoorsman, spending many hours duck hunting and fishing.He is survived by his wife of 61 years: Alice Mayer, Winnebago, Sons: Randy (Kathy) Mayer, Plymouth, Doug (Sue) Mayer, Mankato, Daughters: Kathy (Denny) DeNeui, Fairmont, Nancy (Tim) Larson, Burnsville, Janice (John) Beach, Lino Lakes, Son-in-law: Paul Bleess, Atlanta, GA, 12 Grandchildren, 4 Great Grandchildren, Sisters: Elinor Welker, Galt, CA, Janette (Loy) Young, Mankato, Brother: Wayne (Lorraine) Mayer, Hoyt Lakes.He was preceded in died Saturday, Oct. 20, 2007, in her home. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Canice Catholic Church in Kilkenny with burial in Calvary died Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2007, at Oak Hills Living Center in New Ulm. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Cathedral of the Holy Trinity in New Ulm with burial in New Ulm Catholic died Wednesday, October 24, 2007 at Immanuel-St. Joseph Hospital in Mankato.
Cemetery in Fairmont. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Friday at Mankato Mortuary and will continue one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to St. John Lutheran Church or The Lutheran Hour.
Survivors include his wife, Frieda Kruse of rural Good Thunder; five children, Marlin (Judi) Siebens of Goodyear, AZ, Steward (Linda) Siebens of Gilbert, AZ, Kevin (Anita) Kruse of North Mankato, Stephanie Kruse of rural Good Thunder, Pamela (David) Kruse Coste of Phoenix, AZ; 11 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; siblings, Emil (Shirley) Kruse, Augusta (Roscoe) Stusse, and Elsie Langford all of the Fairmont area; nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Hans was preceded in died peacefully on Wednesday, October 24, 2007 at his home.
Memorial service will be held at 12:00 p.m., Saturday October 27, 2007 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, St. Clair, with Rev. Robert Schneider officiating. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of service at church on Saturday. Military honors by Mankato American Legion and VFW 950. Mankato Mortuary is in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society or ISJ Hospice.
Vincent was death by his parents; a brother, William; and a brother-in-law, Frank Pongratz.
