Carolyn M. Walters, age 55, of Vernon Center, Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. on Tuesday at Lake Crystal Mortuary and continues one hour prior to the service at the church on Wednesday. Memorials are preferred to the Susan G. Komen Breast cancer Foundation, First Presbyterian Church, or to the donor's choice.
Carolyn was death by her father, Thomas Walters Jr. in 1997.

Eva L. Feigh
Mankato - Eva L. Feigh, age 88, of Mankato, died Thursday, March 13, 2008, at Immanuel-St. Joseph’s Hospital.
Memorial Services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Sunday, March 16, 2008 at Woodland Hills Chapel with Rev. Donohue Sarff officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
Shirley was married Donovan Ellsworth on November 8, 1952. She worked as a RN in the Mankato area and as a playground supervisor at Washington Elementary School. In her leisure time she was an avid gardener.
Shirley is survived by her son, Brad (Mary) Ellsworth of Burnsville, daughter, Colleen (Bruce) Miller of Mankato; grandchildren, Jennifer (John) Shain, Travis (Sarah) Miller, Ashley Ellsworth and Kayla Ellsworth; and great granddaughter, Sydney Shain.
She was preceded in died Friday, Nov. 14, 2003, at the Hillcrest Health Care Center. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 19, 2003, at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church in New Ulm. Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Landkamer-Johnson-Boman Funeral Home, with an evening prayer service at 7 p.m., and one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be at the Calvary died Sunday, September 26, 2004 at the Mankato House Health Care Center.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, October 1, 2004 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Mankato with Rev. Mary Iverson officiating. Burial will be in Glenwood born on July 29, 1933 in Mankato to Holley and Lucile (Ross) Brandrup. He graduated from Mankato High School in 1951. Morgan attended Mankato State Teachers College for a short time before enlisting in the United States Navy. He served four years in active duty before being honorably discharged on March 31, 1956. Morgan attended Macalester College in St. Paul and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism, geography and history in 1960. He was employed at the Marshall Messenger as sports editor and news editor from March of 1960 to January of 1965. Morgan then became sports editor of the Mankato Free Press, and held that position until June of 1991 when he became the newspaper’s sports columnist. He retired in July of 1996. He was selected to become a member of the Minnesota Football Coaches Hall of Fame in 1991 and later became a member of the Minnesota State University, Mankato, Athletics Hall of Distinction in October of 1999.

Gail Annette Moehle, age 88 of Mankato, death by her husband, Norman.
Sister M. Solana Soler, School Sister of Notre Dame, age 91, born in St. Paul, Minnesota, on September 19, 1913, to Julius and Clara (Capaul) Soler. She entered the School Sisters of Notre Dame in Mankato in 1937 and took First Vows in 1940. For almost 50 years, she did domestic work in convents in Minnesota, Iowa, and North Dakota. In 1998 she came to Good Counsel where she continued in community service as long as her health permitted.
Sister M. Solana is survived by four sisters, Sister M. Claire of Good Counsel, Theresa Jungwirth of Oakdale and Genevieve Mulally and Odilia Conlon and her brother Luke all of St. Paul. She was preceded in passed away at his home on Lake Jefferson near Cleveland, Minnesota, September 20th at the age of 74 after battling with cancer.
Bud was Married to Doris A. Grosland on December 20, 1953, they spent their lives together in Mason City, Iowa and Forest City, Iowa and since 1988 in retirement at their lake home near Cleveland, Minnesota.Upon discharge from the Army, Bud spent his life in the field of construction. He worked at Home Lumber Company and Gjellafald Construction until he started his own business, Borchardt and Son Construction, from 1968 – 1988 all in Forest City, Iowa.
Everyone knew Bud as an avid outdoorsman. His entire life, Bud enjoyed duck hunting, fishing, trapping and snowmobiling with his family and friends. He also built furniture for his home and his grandchildren. Bud and Doris enjoyed attending and participating in the busy lives of their boys’ school activities sharing special times with family and friends at these events. As proud grandparents, they continued to participate in the lives and activities of their grandchildren, and made many friends in Chicago, Denver and Des Moines.
Doris, Bud’s wife of 53 years, and their three sons, Craig (Minneapolis), Paul (Chicago) and Brian (Des Moines) survive him. Beloved father-in-law to Sheri, Mary and Julia. Dear grandfather to Molly, Ryan, Tyler, Maxwell, Ida, Tiffany and Christopher. Proud great-grandfather of Keagan. Brother of Gaylis Tenold.Preceded in Cemetery, Assembly Area 4.
Mr. Larson, 89, of Rochester, born Feb. 25, 1918, in New Sweden Township, near Nicollet, Minn. He joined the Army in 1942. He received pilot training in California with the Army Air Corps, and obtained the rank of 2nd Lieutenant. In World War II, he served with the 49th Squadron, 2nd Bomb Group in Foggia, Italy. He bailed out of his plane over Regensberg, Germany, on Feb. 25, 1944, was captured and held as a prisoner of war in Stalag I, Batrh, Germany, until being liberated by the Russians in May 1945. He later joined the Air Force Reserve and retired as a major in 1978.
