Mr. Paul C. Oddo Sr., age 93, of Fayetteville Interment will follow at 2:30 PM in Camp Memorial Park in Fayetteville. Florence E. Juliar
Florence Elizabeth (Coleman) Juliar, age 105, of Fountain Hills, AZ, Cemetery in St. Clair, with Rev. Randy Koppen officiating. In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation may be made to ISJ Hospice, 1400 Madison Avenue, Mankato, MN 56001.
Florence was death by her parents; husband, Nick; and three younger siblings: brother, Murray Coleman and sisters, Maxine Nielsen Moore and Lenna Lucile Coover.
Geo W. Arneman
Geo W. Arneman, age 87, of Mankato, formerly of New Richland death by his first wife, Edna, brother, Dr. Harold Arneman, and sisters Gertrude Kurtland and Margaret Morris.
Survived by wife Barbara Arneman, daughters; Faith (Dale) White, Erna (Dale) Krueger, Betty (Loren) Johnson, Joan (Dennis) Anderson and son William (Karen) Arneman; 7 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren and 4 stepchildren.
A gathering of friends and family will be held Saturday, March 15th at Landkamer-Johnson-Boman Funeral Home, 825 S. Front St., Mankato, MN from 11:00 to 1:00 pm. with a 12:00 p.m. prayer service. There will be a private Cemetery, Mankato. A remembrance in Mesa, AZ will be on March 29th for family and friends.
Herbert Lawrence Karsten
Herbert Lawrence Karsten, age 84 of Austin born on a farm near Plainview, MN, to Albert Henry and Emma Bertha (Brueske) Karsten on December 15, 1923. He was baptized February 13, 1924 at the Lutheran parsonage. He graduated from Elgin High School in 1941 and worked as a farmhand until enlisting in the Navy in December of 1943. He served as a Radioman 3rd Class in the South Pacific on the ammunition ship U.S.S. Lakewood Victory during WWII. Following his honorable discharge, he attended Mankato Commercial College and became a bookkeeper for Austin Heating and Sheet Metal. He began working in production at Hormel in 1951 and retired in 1984.He Interment will be in Grandview death by his parents, wife Eileen in 2003, and sister Adeline Bouska.Clasen-Jordan Mortuary (507) 433-5727
Helen I. Larson
Helen I. Larson, age 94 of Faribault, born on August 5, 1913 in Castle Rock, Washington. Helen spent her childhood and college years in the Seattle, Washington, area. Helen attended college at Seattle Pacific University and completed her education at Minnesota State University, Mankato with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education. For 30 years, Helen was an elementary school teacher and spent most of her teaching career in Mankato elementary schools. On February 5, 1938, she was united in marriage to Edward E. Larson at her parents’ home in Elk River, MN. Edward preceded her in death by her parents, her husband and two brothers.The family would like to thank the staff at St. Lucas Care Center and Helen’s medical team for the loving dedication and care shown to her. All of your efforts together will never be forgotten.
Heidi Ann (Laird) Abdo
Heidi A. (Laird) Abdo, age 47 of Mankato, born September 23, 1961 to James and Patricia (Fordham) Laird in Mankato. She graduated from Wellcome Memorial High School and received her nursing degree from South Central Technical College. She was employed with Autumn Grace Assisted Living. A loving and caring mother, Heidi enjoyed being a nurse and was a wonderful caregiver. She was a great cook who loved to read and watch scary movies. Heidi always strived to better herself. She was loved and will be missed by all who knew her.
Heidi is survived by her former husband, Terry Abdo; three daughters, Cassie, Molly, and Jamie Abdo, all of Mankato; two brothers, Jaimie (Barb) Laird of Mankato and Jeff (Connie) Laird of Park City, Utah; and many uncles and aunts.
Heidi was preceded in died Wednesday, June 24, 2009 at Oaklawn Health Care Center, Mankato.

Irene was death by her parents; husband, Raymond on April 27, 1985; daughter, Corine Loeffler on August 12, 2004; sisters, Esther (Howard) Anderson and Hazel (Karl) Riekemann; brothers, John, Ben (Florence), and George Frase.
