Otto F. Borth
Otto F. Borth, age 97, of Mankato, Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m., Monday, July 6, 2009 at St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Mankato, with Rev. Ray Schultz officiating. Burial will be in Woodland Hills Memorial Park in Mankato. Visitation will be 3-5 p.m. on Sunday at Mankato Mortuary and continues one hour prior to the service at the church on Monday. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to St. Mark's Lutheran Church or Pathstone Living.
Otto was death by his parents; wife, Rosella in 2004; infant son, Dennis; one brother, Roy; sister, Loretta and twin sister, Oradella; and two sons-in-law, Tom Brown and Tom Otos.
Jake Campbell
St. Peter resident, James “Jake” Campbell, 89, Interment will be at Woodland Hills Memorial Park in Mankato. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Memorials are preferred to Immanuel St. Joseph’s Hospice. Woodland Hills Funeral Home in Mankato is handling arrangements.
Vincent J. Kahnke
Vincent J. Kahnke, age 81 of rural Waseca, Interment will be in the Calvary born on July 18, 1927 in Waseca, Minnesota to Vincent J. and Mary (Lynch) Kahnke, Sr. Vince was united in marriage to Irene Morgan on June 19, 1951 at St. Jarlath Catholic Church in Iosco Township, Waseca County. Vince and Irene resided in St. Mary Township their entire death by his parents; by his brother Herbert Kahnke and his sisters Sister Mary Ann Kahnke, and Lucille Miller.
Rita Mae (Clemons) Kortuem Gallagher
RITA MAE (CLEMONS) KORTUEM GALLAGHER, age 89 of Spokane, Washington formerly of Waseca, Born in Kilkenny, Minnesota on June 22, 1920, she was the first child of Martin Alvah and Mary Helen (Wesley) Clemons. Rita attended school in the Waterville-Elysian area. Following high school, she earned a teaching certificate from Mankato Normal School. She taught one year in a little country school. On June 1, 1942, Rita and Robert Francis Kortuem of Madison Lake were united in marriage at Sacred Heart Church in Waseca where she was a member until 2000.
Bob and Rita raised their seven children in a house on Loon Lake where they welcomed friends and relatives by the droves. All enjoyed the fruits of her labors. Following Bob's married Michael Raymond "Ray" Gallagher, adding four stepsons to the family. Ray death by her parents, husbands Bob and Ray, sister Loretta Hoffman, brother Milton, twin children Charles and Charlotte, grandchildren Benjamin and Rebecca, step-son Mike, and step-grandson Patrick.
Visitation will be at Kinder-Dennis Home For Funerals in Waseca on Wednesday, July 1, 2009 from 4-8 PM with a 7:00 PM Christian Vigil Service and continue on Thursday, one hour before services at the church.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 2, 2009 at 10:30 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Waseca. Burial will follow at Calvary died suddenly on Monday, April 27, 2009 at his home in Waldorf.
Memorial visitation will be held on Thursday, April 30th from 4 to 7 p.m. at Arnoldt-McRaith Funeral Home in Janesville.
Private family services and burial are scheduled.
Charles Richard was passed away in 1987. Charles death by his parents; by his wife Lorraine; by his brother Robert Kirkpatrick; by his brothers-in-law Frank Johnson and James Church.
Thomas E. Mensing
Thomas E. Mensing, age 45 of Fargo, ND and formerly of Faribault, died Tuesday, April 21, 2009 at the Three Links Care Center in Northfield.
Private services will be held. Cemetery in Faribault.
Arrangements are with the Parker Kohl Funeral Home of Faribault.
Evelyn Margaret May Shay, the daughter of George and Margaret (May) Shay, was death by her parents; brother, Marvin Shay; and son, Marvin Chadderdon.
