Rosemary "Rosie" Zulauf
Rosemary Ann Zulauf, the daughter of Samuel and Emma (Roseng) Zulauf, was death by her brother Samuel Zulauf, Jr.
Richard E. Paquin
Richard E. Paquin, age 79, of Sebeka, Minnesota and formerly of Faribault, Interment with military honors will be held at the Fort Snelling National born on March 10, 1932 to Victor and Katherine (Kubicek) Paquin in Faribault. Richard grew up in Medford and graduated from the Medford School. He joined the United States Air Force in 1952. During his career as a Captain in the Air Force, he was awarded Distinguished Flying Cross medals and an Air Force Commendation Medal in 1960 for serving as an Electronic Warfare Supervisor in a program of international significance. He married Pearl May Gaughan on June 7, 1974 and they made their home in Lake Elmo and Coon Rapids until her death by his second wife, parents, two sisters and a brother and his grandson David Paquin.
Thomas Charles Maxfield
Thomas Charles Maxfield, 52, of St. Peter, MN, Cemetery, St. Peter.
He is survived by friend and longtime companion Sharon Zellmer, sisters Nancy Ann Maxfield and Maureen Maxfield Gargett, along with numerous nieces and nephews; Christen, Emmett, Aaron and Leah, Wren, Jacob, Matthew, Kinsey, Chuck and Steven, Raymond, Jacob, Thomas and Molly, along with numerous friends.
He is preceded in died on Wednesday, August 10, 2011 at Oaklawn Health Care Center.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, August 15 at 11:00 a.m. at SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church with Rev. Don Rauscher, S.J. officiating. Visitation will be on Sunday from 1-5 with a 1:00 p.m. prayer service at Landkamer-Johnson-Boman Funeral Home. Visitation will also continue one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be at Calvary born on June 21, 1932 in Comfrey, MN to Paul Sr. and Anna (Kielty) Callanan. He graduated from Comfrey High School in 1950. After high school Paul joined the United States Air Force and served for four years and was stationed in Wiesbaden, Germany. Paul was united in marriage to Marlyn Anderson in 1956. He received an agriculture education degree from the University of Minnesota in 1961. He worked as a High School Agriculture teacher in Foley, MN and was in involved in the FFA. In 1970 Paul accepted a position at the Mankato Vocational Technical Institute where he worked until retirement. Paul was involved in Minnesota Parliamentary Procedures, MN Agricultural Education Association, and other organizations. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, cross country ski trips, bridge, reading, spending time at their cabin and on the family farm, and traveling to visit his daughters. Paul was a member of the “Wrecking Crew”, a group of men committed to volunteerism at SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Marlyn of Mankato; daughters: Rhonda Callanan of Mankato and her children Matthew and William; Kathy (James) Raley of Wiesbaden, Germany and their children Diana, Megan, Sarah, Natalie, and Connor; Jennifer (Robert) Stevens of Oak Hill, VA and their children Jamison and Annika; and Sandy Callanan of Corona del Mar, CA; son-in-law, Gregory Altemus of Newark, DE; nine siblings: Art (Ruth) Callanan of Preston, MN, Evelyn (Bud) Jones of Santa Cruz, CA, Barbara (Bob) Rathman of Sleepy Eye, Marlys (Lloyd) Domeier of San Jose, CA, Charlotte (Wally) Wandersee of Bloomington, Mary Schulte of Redding, CA, Dick (Pat) Callanan of Comfrey, Helen (Ray) Helgeson of Montrose, MN, and Kevin (Robyn) Callanan of Altura, MN; the Wrecking Crew, Al, Jerry, Mike, Denny, Marlin, Bill, and Father Don; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. He was preceded in died on Sunday, August 7, 2011 at Lake Shore Inn, Waseca.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 12th at 1:00 p.m. at McRaith Funeral Home & Crematory in Waseca, with Rev. Gary Rusinko officiating. Cemetery, Waterville.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 11th from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m. at McRaith Funeral Home & Crematory in Waseca, and will continue on Friday afternoon for one hour prior to services.
Ordella Delores was died December 30, 1956. Ordella was employed by various local businesses including, Waseca Floral, and Waseca Medical Center, and did many odd jobs for families in the Waseca area. On September 8, 1973 she was united in marriage to Robert Scholljegerdes at Trinity Lutheran Church in Janesville. Ordella and Robert resided on their farm near Meriden. In 2002 they retired from farming and moved into Waseca. She was a long time member of St Paul’s Lutheran Church in Meriden. Ordella enjoyed gardening and baking, and time spent with family and friends.
She is survived by her daughter Tamra Reich-Lentz and son-in-law Richard Lentz of Mankato; by her grandchildren, Donell Reich and Jason Lentz both of Mankato, and by her brother Kenneth (LaVerne) Freitag of St. Clair.
She was preceded in died on Thursday, August 4, 2011 at his daughter Kathleen's home in Eden Prairie where he was living after his wife's died with his daughters at this side.
Ken was death by his wife Gina, his daughter Mary Helen, and his grandson Matt.
A mass of celebration is planned for 11:00 am at SS Peter and Paul's Catholic Church in Mankato on Saturday August 13 with Rev. Don Rauscher, S.J. officiating. Visitation is planned for one hour before mass at the church. Landkamer-Johnson-Boman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to SS Peter and Paul's parish, Loyola High School or the donor's choice.
Karolyn M. Fitzpatrick
Karolyn Marie (Schuch) Fitzpatrick, age 61, of North Mankato, Interment will be in Calvary born April 23, 1950 in Mankato to John and Opal (Nourie) Schuch. She was one of 6 children. She attended grade school at St. John's Catholic School in Mankato and later graduated from Loyola High School. In 1969 she graduated from Mankato Area Vocational Technical Institute in North Mankato where she received her degree as a Practical Nurse. Karolyn death by her father, John Schuch in 1982; brother, Herbert in 1974; sister-in-law, Charlene Schuch in 2010; and sister, Charlene (Greg) Tegels in 2011.
The family would like to express their appreciation for the wonderful care given to Karolyn by the Doctors, Nurses, and Staff at the Dialysis Unit in Mankato.
