Luverna A. Lindberg, age 93 of St. Peter, died Monday, February 20, 2012 at Hillcrest Health Care Center, Mankato.

Emma was died on Dec 14, 1962. Emma worked as a housekeeper at Butlers Redwood Motel. She was a member at Grace Lutheran Church. Emma enjoyed flowers, cats, reading, bible study, baking and especially spending time with her family.
Emma is survived by her daughter, Judy (Ken) Spence of North Mankato; grandchildren, Kristi Makela of Mankato; Jeff (Marcie) Spence of North Mankato; Ron (Cinnamon) Spence of Butternut; great grandchildren, Lizzy, Jessie, Lauren, Gabby, Izzy, Willard, and sister, Dolly Piller of Colony, WI.
Emma was preceded in born November 11, 1914 on the family farm in Milford Township where she spent her youth and attended country school. She was united in marriage to Herman Juni, Jr. March 2, 1940 in New Ulm. Together, they farmed in Milford Township for many years. After Herman’s death by her son David Juni in 1995; brothers Roman, Eldor, Lester, Gib and Reuben Schreyer; sisters Erna Schulz, Iona Larson and Orlean Anderson.
Memorials are preferred to the donor’s choice.

Eileen Mabel Roozen, age 79, of Lake Washington, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m., Monday, March 5, 2012 at Mankato Mortuary and will continue one hour before service at church on Tuesday. Memorials preferred to the donor's choice. .
Eileen was death by daughter, Peggy Kinney; grandson, Nathan Kinney; son-in-law, Terry Kinney; grandson, Jonathan Woitas; and siblings, Veronica Sonnek, Marjorie Staloch, Lois Raaen, Ella Mae Embertson, Mary Goebel, Rita Garrey and James Murphy.
Marlowe Frederickson
Marlowe Kenneth Frederickson, the son of Eddie and Tilda (Helling) Frederickson, was death July 8, 2000. He was a member of LaSalle Lutheran Church. Marlowe enjoyed hunting, fishing, going to the lake, and playing cards.
Survivors include his daughters Beverly Olson (Darryl) of rural Madelia, Sandra Braun (Marvin) of Sleepy Eye, Darla Colebank (Bill) of Hanska, Wanda Schroeder (Don), Tammy Luckhardt (Kevin) all of New Ulm, Lori Sukalski (Chuck) of Fairmont; 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; sisters Virginia Nelson of New Ulm, Sonja Smesmo (Arnie) of Hanska; brother Alden Frederickson (Maxine) of Madelia; sisters-in-law Inga Beltz of Fairfax, Patsy Beltz of Brooklyn Park, Dorothy Christenson of Sleepy Eye, Joyce Luepke of Courtland; nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.
In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 25, 2012 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Mankato, MN, with Pastor Wayne Eichstadt officiating. Cemetery in rural Rapidan, Minnesota. Visitation will be held at the church before the born on a ranch near Copperas Cove, TX on May 3, 1915, baptized on May 24, 1915 and confirmed in May 1929 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Copperas Cove, TX. He and his family lived in rural Copperas Cove until 1963 when they moved to rural Good Thunder, MN. Henry lived on his farm until age 93. He is survived by five children: Carolyn (Gerhard) Matzke of rural Good Thunder, MN, Margaret (Loren) Matzke of rural Good Thunder, MN, Dr. Laurence (Yvonne) Meissner of Hutto, TX, Dennis (Joanne) Meissner of Georgetown, TX, Annette Rode of Mankato, MN; 21 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in passed away, Tuesday, February 21, 2012 at her home following an extended illness.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, February 27, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the Divine Mercy Catholic Church, 139 Mercy Drive, in Faribault. Cemetery, Faribault.
Visitation will be held at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home & Crematory of Faribault on Sunday from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. and at the church on Monday for one hour prior to services. The Faribault Aerie 1460 Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary will conduct a memorial service on Sunday afternoon at 5:00 p.m.
Gladys Rose Uhlir, the daughter of Frank and Rose (Trcka) Uhlir, was died suddenly on April 22, 1962. Gladys sold the restaurant and moved her family back to Faribault in 1963 and started working at Mealey’s Restaurant. She worked there for 8 years and then started a 30 year career at the Lavender Inn. She worked several jobs while at the Lavender Inn including waitressing, baker and fry cook. In retirement Gladys volunteered in the kitchen at the Faribault Eagles Club. On January 25, 1967 she death on March 26, 2001. Gladys was an excellent cook and loved spending time in her gardens. She also enjoyed dancing, playing cards, puzzles, reading and mostly spending time with her family and spoiling her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is survived by her nine children, Bev (Larry) Williams of Las Vegas, NV, Jan Adams of Sun City, AZ, Loretta (Jim) Tupa, Harry (Leandra) Adamek, Darlene (Patrick) Meillier, Shirley (Randy) Gardner, Joseph M. (Lori) Adamek, Gordy (Rosanne) Adamek and Audrey (Kevin) Swanson, all of Faribault; by 23 grandchildren and 34 great grandchildren; by three step children, Veronica Sperling of Boulder, CO, Steve (Aleen) Roell of Plymouth, MN and Mary (Jay) Morgan Thompson of Henderson, NV; by her brother, Francis (Caroline) Uhlir of Faribault; by three sisters, Stella Carpenter of Faribault, Loretta Wagener of St. Cloud, MN and Delores (Jerome) Broin of Green Isle, MN and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in died Saturday, March 3, 2012 at Hennepin County Medical Center. Funeral services will on Tuesday, March 6, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Montgomery. Burial will be at Calvary born April 11, 1959 in New Prague to Ben and Shirley (Meger) Barta.
He graduated from Montgomery-Lonsdale High School. He worked in a foundry and also did computer work.
Steven is survived by mother; Shirley Barta of Montgomery, sisters; Gretchen Barta of Faribault and Karen (Wade) Wiberg of Red Wing, brothers; Terry and (Ruby) Barta of Greenfield, Missouri, and Dale Barta of White Bear Lake.
He is preceded in death by his father Ben and sister Connie Barta.
