Ernie Kosloski
Ernie Kosloski, age 70, of Brooklyn Park, passed away at home surrounded by his family on September 18, 2006. Preceded in death by brother, Raymond. Survived by loving wife of 47 years, Gerry; children, Tammy (Mike) Hay, Vern, Mike, Barb (Mark) Busse; grandchildren, Laura and Ryan Hay, Elise and Corinne Kosloski; sisters, Bena, Alice and Shirley; brother, Donnie; brother-in-law, Glen; many nieces & nephews.

Lyle Hammitt
Lyle Hammitt, 90, Moose Lake, died peacefully on Thursday, September 14, 2006 in Mercy Health Care Center, Moose Lake. He was born on November 19, 1915 in Lehigh, Texas. Lyle also loved camping, fishing, and snowmobiling.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Elaine in 2004; two daughters: Rosemary Hammitt and Coral Sampson; and his parents: Roscoe and Mary Hammitt.
Lyle will be lovingly remembered by his four sons: Alroy (Pat) Hammitt of Bruno; Jerry (Patti) Hammitt of Sturgeon Lake; Jim (Jean) Hammitt of Sturgeon Lake; and Tom (Dawn) Hammitt of Moose Lake; daughter: Joy (Kevin) Kubat of Pine City; a sister: Vida Adair of Raleigh, Texas, died Thursday, Sept. 14, 2006.
Norman lived a very full life while traveling in the U.S. Navy. While in the U.S. Navy, he married his first wife and together their raised four children. Norman retired at age 55 after serving 20 years in the U.S. Navy and 12 years in civil sevice. After the death of his first wife in 1992, he remarried in 1995 and lived in Taxas for the last 10 years.
He was a member of the VFW. American Legion, and Fleet Reserve. Norman was an avid golfer and leaves behind many golfing buddies who will miss him. He will also be missed by everyone he encountered a the Saturday morning breakfast at Fort Clark Springs, where he cooked eggs to order.
Norman was preceded in death by his parents, John and Julia Manty; first wife, Inge Manty; sisters, Pauline and Donna; and grtandson, Jeremy.
He is survived by his wife, Dee Manty; step-father, Hugo Metso; children, Judy Snyder, Nauni Manty, Renee Curry and Norman Manty, Jr. (Chere); step-children, Janet Fagre (Eric) and John Whitney (Heanne); sisters, Janet Montgomery (John), Jeanne Voldness (Gordon), and Karen Morgan (Ralph); brothers, Leon Manty (Mary), Vern Manty (Marlene), Ruben Manty (Kaye), Bruce Manty (Beverly), Gary Manty (Betty), and Bryan Metso (Hen); six grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; five great-gradnchildren; and numerous freinds in Fort Clark Springs in Brackettville, Minnesota. Larry co-owned John's Auto Electric #2 in Rogers, Wisconsin; nephew: Allen (MaRee) Nordling of Plano, Mississippi; step-sisters: Jean Hammerlund of Brooklyn Center and children and Carol (Roger) Hilgert of Apple Valley and children; and other family members and friends.
Memorial Service was Saturday, September 23rd, 2006 at 4 PM at the Peterson Chapel in Buffalo with an hour visitation prior to the start of the service.

Private family interment was in Willow River, Minnesota Sunday, September 24th, 2006.
DWAYNE K. JUDKINS
Dwayne K. Judkins, 57, of Moose Lake, died Friday, September 22, 2006, in St. Marys Medical Center, Duluth. He was born November 27, 1948, in International Falls to Dwayne and Darlene (Jay) Judkins. He lived most of his life in Moose Lake. Dwayne was a handyman and also worked at The Red Oak and Embassy Bars. He was a friend to all that met him. Dwayne lived his life to its fullest and especially enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
Dwayne is preceded in death by his mother, Darlene Amiot; father, Dwayne Judkins; step-mother, Kay McCauley; 2 brothers, Phillip Amiot and Jeffrey Judkins.
Dwayne is survived by his siblings, Frank (Roxanne) Judkins of Blaine, Donavan (Wendy) Judkins of Aurora, Cathy Oldeen of Hutchinson, Robert (Shyrlee) Judkins of Cottage Grove, Tammy Lopez of Hutchinson, Lance (Kim) Judkins of Cannon Falls, Gerald Judkins of Anoka, Debra Bahr of International Falls, Dennis Amiot of Hermantown, Michael Amiot of Colorado; step father, Francis Amiot of International Falls.
A gathering of family and friends will be Thursday, September 28, from 12 until the 1 PM Memorial Service in Hamlin-Hansen-Kosloski Funeral Home, Moose Lake. Memorials are preferred. Arrangements are with Hamlin-Hansen-Kosloski Funeral Home, Moose Lake.
