Agnes Psick
Agnes Francis Psick, age 76, a resident of Bowlus, MN, died September 2, 1998, at the Lutheran Senior Care Center in Little Falls, MN.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held September 5 at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Bowlus with the Rev. Silverius Schmidt officiating and Deacon Jerry Roth assisting. Burial was in the parish cemetery.
Agnes was born January 21, 1922, in Swan River Township, Morrison County, MN, to the late Frank and Victoria (Waltman) Gosiak. She grew up in Swan River Township where she attended school in District #45. She attended Little Falls High School, graduating with the class of 1938. Agnes was united in marriage to George A. Psick on November 10, 1941, at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Bowlus. Following their marriage, the couple moved to South Saint Paul, MN. In 1948, they returned to Bowlus where they owned and operated George & Ag’s Bowlus Super Service for 35 years. Following their retirement, George and Agnes continued to live in Bowlus. George passed away November 3, 1987. After his death, Agnes continued to live in Bowlus, residing there until her death. She was a member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Bowlus, Christian Mothers, the Rosary Sodality and the Bowlus VFW Auxiliary.
Survivors include her son, Dennis Psick and wife Judy of Forest Lake, MN; daughter, Patricia Marsolek and husband Lowell of Litchfield, MN; brother, Ambrose Gosiak and wife Martha of Little Falls; sisters, Florence Pekula of Sobieski, MN, and Elizabeth Casper of Little Falls; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George; infant son, Kenneth; parents; brother, Leo Gosiak and a sister, Mary Solarz.
Casketbearers were Doug Psick, David Nowicki, Chad and Brent Marsolek, Matt Cavanaugh and Mike Reis.
Virgil J. Miller
Virgil J. Miller, age 91, of Wabasha, MN, died September 2, 1998, at St. Elizabeth Health Care in Wabasha.
A funeral service was held September 5 at the United Church of Christ in Wabasha with the Reverend Jennifer Stoos officiating. Interment was in the Benton County Cemetery in Sauk Rapids, MN.
Virgil was born June 8, 1907, in Conde, SD., the son of Jake and Rose (Kline) Miller. He was a graduate of Clearwater High School in Clearwater, MN, having moved there as a child. He married Amy Yatckoske in June of 1931 in Little Falls, MN. She died in 1970. He worked in Bellingham, MN, as manager of a creamery there, and then moved to Wendell, MN, where he managed the Co-op Creamery for 25 years. He moved to Wabasha in 1959 where he owned and operated the Florin Dairy. He married Ester Haug October 12, 1964, in Kerkoven, MN. He was a member of the United Church of Christ in Wabasha.
Survivors include his wife, Esther Miller of Willmar, MN; sons and daughters-in-law, Virgil and Maryls Miller, Jr., Minneapolis, MN, Veryl (Bud) and Vera Miller, Wabasha, MN; six grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren; brother, Stanley (Toby) Miller, Little Falls; sisters, Sadie Yatckoske, Little Falls, Hazel (Mrs. Myron) Nunnamaker, Chula Vista, CA, Margaret Thurber, Corvallis, OR; nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Amy, and three brothers, Ivan, Barney and Kay Miller.
Michael L. Bonneville II
Michael L. Bonneville, II, age 30, formerly of Duluth, MN, died at the University Hospital in Cincinnati, Nebraska where they farmed until 1968. They then moved to Minnesota Draft Horse Association.
Survivors include his children and their spouses, Mary Lee Schwegel of Royalton, MN, Darlene and Jim Sanden of Princeton, MN, Richard and Marcie Schafer of Sauk Rapids and Debra Bauer of St. Cloud, MN; brothers and sisters, Leander of Sauk Rapids, Alma Blomker of St. Paul, MN, Barbara Noll of Richmond, MN, and Roseann Thelen of St. Martin, MN; 15 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and companion, Loretta Warzecha of Sauk Rapids.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Geneva on May 8, 1978; sister, Leona Willour and brother, Sylvester.
Casketbearers were Mark Meier, Mark Montag, Mathew Bauer, Dennis Brand, David Warzecha, Delroy Molitor, Melissa Schafer and Curtis Schwegel.
Honorary casketbearers were grandchildren.
