Ruth attended and graduated from the University of Minnesota and worked for the school district in Elko, Minnesota in September of 2004.
Ruth is survived by her husband Dan of Erskine, Minnesota, Paula & Greg Kurtz, Thompson, North Dakota, Charles & Jeanne Walden, Portland, Minnesota, Alfred & Candice Vigen of Grand Forks, Minnesota.
Ruth is preceded in death by her parents, one sister Mary Ann Coons, and one brother Howard Vigen

John graduated from Sacred Heart High School in 1965 and received his B.S. Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Ohio. John married Pam Logdsdon in 1973 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in East Grand Forks, North Dakota Society Professional Engineers and was a past Board member of The Arc, upper Valley in Grand Forks, North Dakota, Chad and his fiancée Lynette Moe of Grand Forks, Minnesota, four brothers; Dan (Susan) of Tulare, Minnesota, Jim of St. Cloud, Minnesota.
Visitation: Friday from 5 to 7 PM with a prayer service at 7:00 PM at Stennes Funeral Home in East Grand Forks, Minnesota.
Andreas “Andy” Homme
Andreas “Andy” Homme, 87, of Grand Forks, North Dakota. Andy Homme was born June 7, 1917 in Gully, Minnesota. He served his country in the US Army Air Corp from 1942 to 1945, and spent 3 years in Africa. Following his honorable discharge as Staff Sergeant he worked as a mechanic in Hoople, Minnesota on June 30, 1949. They lived in Thief River Falls, Ohio, Gloria (William) Souser of Lebanon, Michigan. He is preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers, Gunnuf, Knut and Arnold, 1 half brother Palmer Johnson, and half sisters Alma Johnson, Mary Hofstad and Hazel Grundysen. He was a member of the East Grand Forks VFW.

Donald Omang, 52, of Grand Forks, Minnesota. Donald Julius Omang, was born on January 12, 1953 in Mahnomen, Minnesota, and worked for Lynn Lucken Body Shop in Winger, North Dakota. He owned and operated Don’s Body Shop in Gonvick, North Dakota where he owned Don Omang Trucking Company for many years. He was united into marriage to Kellie Sullivan on September 13, 2002 in Grand Forks, Minnesota, Brady of Grand Forks, Minnesota, brother; Dennis, (Kathy), Winger, Minnesota, Gloria (LeRoy) Steinbrenner, Fosston, North Dakota. granddaughters; Lexie Lucille Grove, Frankie Jane Omang

Tim Burke
Tim Burke, 55, Bemidji, Minnesota. Tim was born on September 21, 1949 in Grand Forks, North Dakota. Tim was involved with selling cars for over 30 years. He was an avid follower of NASCA Car racing, loved to cook and enjoyed yard work. He was always fond of the family lake home at Maple Lake and the hunting trips with his dad. Tim will be sadly missed by his wife of 31 years, his adoring son, Tyler, his best friend Max, family and friends.
Tim is survived by his wife Wanda and their son Tyler in Bemidji, Minnesota, mother Stephanie Benton of Grand Forks, Arizona, Nancy Willson of Moorhead, Indiana, Philip (Anita) Burke of Shakopee, Minnesota.

Janet Rhoda Mickelson
Janet Rhoda Mickelson died on Friday, January 28, 2005 in Grand Forks, ND surrounded by her family after a brief illness.
Janet Rhoda Selseth was born on the family farm in Atlanta Township, Becker County (rural Lake Park, MN) to Andrew and Anna (Thomasgaard) Selseth on July 11, 1927. She attended country school, was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran Church. As a young adult Janet and her mother moved to Detroit Lakes and Moorhead, MN. Janet worked in various restaurants and Woolworths.
She met Morris Mickelson in June 1957 and they were joined in marriage on February 15, 1958 in Hitterdal, MN. They resided there until 1965 when the family moved to Drayton, ND. In 1996 they moved to Grand Forks.
She is survived by Morris Mickelson, her husband of 47 years; daughters Sharon (Mark) Pope of Colorado Springs CO, Laurel (Barry) Bowman of Harwood ND, and Laurene (Dale) Barrow of Grand Forks ND; six grandchildren; sisters Olga (Elmer) Bartlett of Clarissa MN, Alice Stallman of Pelican Rapids MN, and brother Norman (Marilyn) Selseth of Moorhead MN; sisters-in-law Ardis Selseth of Hitterdal MN, and Gwen Selseth of Moorhead MN.
She is preceded in death by her parents, 8 brothers and 3 sisters.
Services: 10:30 AM ~ Wednesday, February 2, 2005 at University Lutheran Church, Grand Forks, Minnesota and for an hour before services on Wednesday at the church.
Burial: Salem Lutheran Cemetery, Hitterdal, Minnesota.
