Robert William Kahle
(October 29, 1929 - December 9, 2013)

Robert William Kahle, aged 84, of Warsaw, Missouri, passed from this earth into the arms of his Savior, December 9, 2013 at the Harry S. Truman VA Hospital in Columbia, Missouri, after an extended hospitalization.
Born October 29, 1929 in Bunceton, Missouri, to Herman and Minnie Schwitzky Kahle, he was baptized as an infant and continued with his faith until the time of his death.
Bob served in the US Army from 1951-1952. He was proud to be a Union carpenter of 50 plus years. He enjoyed rock hounding, gardening, and card games. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Lincoln, Missouri.
He married Linda M. Pendergrass on January 19, 1979, she survives of the home.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers, 2 sisters, and a son, Dale Kahle.
He is survived by his son Michael (Terri) Kahle of Jackson, Missouri and two grandchildren, Rachel & Matthew. He is survived by 3 stepchildren, Kathy (Terry) Robison, Theresa Swenson, and Abe (Jodi) Swenson and 3 granddaughters, Tera, Erin, and Emma, as well as several nephews, nieces, and cousins. Bob had the talent of finding some of his kinfolk at most any place he went.
Funeral services are under the direction of Reser Funeral Home, Warsaw, and will be at 2 p.m., Sunday, December 15, 2013 at the Zion Lutheran Church in Lincoln, with Reverend Leonard Poppe officiating.
Visitation will be 30 minutes preceding the service.
Burial will be in Shawnee Cemetery, Warsaw.
Memorial donations in memory of Bob are suggested to the Zion Lutheran Church Building Fund or the American Diabetes Association.
The family wishes to thank all the wonderful doctors, nurses and staff who have taken care of Bob during his illness, as well as the prayerful support of loving friends and family.
William L. Robertson

William "Bill" Robertson, age 61, of Warsaw Missouri, passed away Tuesday December 10, 2013 at his home.
He was born on September 11, 1952 in Humansville, Missouri, the son of Ralph and Clarice (Hayden) Robertson.
He grew up in Humansville and graduated from High School there. Bill joined the Army after High School and served his country until 1972. He worked for several companies before he joined a survey team which led to a job with the Corps of Engineers. He continued to work with the Corps up until his retirement in February of 2009.
Bill was a member of several organizations which included Free Masons Shawnee Lodge #653 and the American Legion Post #217 to name a few.
Bill was married to Glenda (Flores) Robertson on August 14, 1987 and they were each other’s rock, as they often said of their relationship.
Bill is preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Clarice (Hayden) Robertson and also his wife of 23 years, Glenda Robertson.
He is survived by his daughter Meredith (Robertson) Randall of Grain Valley, Missouri, his three sons and wives Ernesto Flores and Celina, Joseph Edward Flores and Terri, Eric Flores and Teresa all of Warsaw and his brother and wife R.J. Robertson and Amanda, of Murphysboro Illinois.
He is also survived by eleven grandchildren: Chelsi, Jennifer, Audrey, Erica, Gabriella, Deric, Kylie, Aubrie, Alec, Jenna and Samantha
Bill was loved by his many friends and his big family of kids, grandchildren, nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Bill enjoyed golf, NASCAR, many outdoor activities, and lately range shooting with close friends.
Bill had asked for no services to be held in his sake but to just have a celebration of life gathering for family and friends.

Catherine Ann Sulsberger
(June 5, 1947 - December 13, 2013)
Catherine A. Sulsberger, age 66, of Warsaw, passed away Friday, December 13, 2013 at the KU Medical Center in Kansas City.
She was born on June 5, 1947 in Sioux City, Iowa, the daughter of George and Loretta (Cremer) Prince .
She grew up in Sloan, Iowa, and was united in marriage to Richard Sulsberger at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Salix, Iowa, on February 20, 1964. They made their home in Holly Springs, Iowa, where she helped her husband on the family farm growing corn and soybeans and raising cattle. She also helped Rich with his crop dusting business. In 1989, they moved to Warsaw, where she owned and operated the Hillbilly Quick Sak Convenience Store and Hair & Co. Beauty Salon. Before retiring several years ago, she worked as a OTC Manager for J&D; Pharmacy.
Cathy was a member of the St. Ann Catholic Church, in Warsaw. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, who took joy in all of her children, and grandchildren's accomplishments. In February, Rich and Cathy would of celebrated 50 years of marriage. They were lucky enough to live and work side-by-side for those years. During their retirement, they enjoyed traveling and spent weeks at a time visiting family and friends. She was most happy when she was around all of her family. She was always excited about new pictures of her grandchildren and great-grandchild. Those who knew Cathy knew she loved life and her husband deeply. She will be missed by all who got the opportunity to know her.
She is preceded in death by her father, George Prince.
She is survived by her husband, Richard Sulsberger, her mother, Loretta Prince, of Sloan, Iowa, two daughters Lisa Jackson, and her husband Rick, of Warsaw and Cher Miller and her husband Jeremy, of Warrensburg, Missouri, one son Steven Sulsberger and his wife Jacque, of Warsaw, three brothers; Tom Prince and his wife Patti, of Sgt. Bluff, Iowa, Greg Prince and his wife Vicki, of Pinson, Alabama, and Tim Prince and his wife Jo, of Sloan, Iowa, one sister, Sue Lamoureux and her husband Mike, of Salix, Iowa, five grandchildren; Dr. Austin Jackson and his wife Rev. Jenny Jackson, of Topeka, Kansas, Matthew Jackson, of Warsaw, Ethan Sulsberger, of Greenwood, Missouri, Alex Miller and Leah Catherine Miller, both of Warrensburg, one great-grandson, Lucas Jackson, other relatives and many friends.
Visitation for Cathy Sulsberger will be held Monday evening, December 16, 2013 from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. at the Reser Funeral Home in Warsaw.
Memorial services will be held at 10:30 A.M. Saturday December 21, 2013 at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Salix, Iowa.
James Richard Luckett
(October 12, 1951 - December 15, 2013)

James Richard Luckett, age 62, of Warsaw, passed away Sunday, Dec. 15, 2013, at his home.
He was born on October 12, 1951, in Harrisonville, Missouri, the son of James E. and Gloria Davidson Luckett.
He grew up in Harrisonville, and moved to the Warsaw area in 1969. It was then that he enlisted into the United States Marines, serving in Vietnam. He was honorably discharged on Dec. 17, 1971. He later enlisted in the United States Navy, serving two years and honorable discharge on January 25, 1978. He had also served in the Reserves.
He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was also a jewelry stone collector.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two twin sons, William James and Richard Maurice Luckett.
Surviving is a son, James D. Luckett and a granddaughter, Kaylee-Ann Luckett, all of Lincoln, his companion, Cindy, of the home, a brother William Edward Luckett of Tina, MO, and six sisters, Mary Louise Standridge, of Russellville, Arkansas, Ann Marie Miller, of Corder, MO, Linda Lou Marcellus, of Kansas City, KS, Nita Burton of Corder, MO, Sue Gennetten and Barbara Crabtree, both of Warsaw, numerous nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation for James Richard Luckett will be Thursday, December 19, 2013, from 5 to 7 P.M., at the Reser Funeral Home, Warsaw, MO.
Cremation will follow.
Memorials may be made to the funeral home to assist the family with final expenses.

William R. Dulaban
(August 30, 1933 - December 14, 2013)
William R. "Bobby" Dulaban, age 80, of Deepwater, Missouri, passed away Saturday, December 14, 2013.
He was born on August 30, 1933 in Warsaw, Missouri, the son of William Nelson and Margie Lee Dulaban.
Bob was a veteran of the United States Army and served in several roles after his honorable discharge. He lived and worked in the Warsaw area for the next twenty-five years.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a son.
He is survived by his wife Judy, of the home, daughters, Barbara, Terry and Margie, a son, Butch and stepchildren, Maggie, Sammy and Shad, thirteen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Bob was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend.
No services are scheduled.
Mary E. Yach
(November 24, 1928 - December 20, 2013)
Mary E. Yach, age 85, of Lincoln, passed away Friday, December 20, 2013, at the Lincoln Nursing Home in Lincoln, MO.
She was born on November 24, 1928, in Lincoln, the daughter of William and Fenna Eken Langston.
She grew to young adulthood in Lincoln, and graduated from Lincoln High School and then went one year to college.
She married Wilford Yach on September 4, 1954 in Kansas City, MO.
They lived thirty years in the Kansas City area where Wilford was employed at General Motors and Mary did secretarial work the last being with Longview Community College in Lee's Summit.
She was a member of the Broadview Christian Church in Kansas City, and attended the Warsaw Christian Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Wilford Jr., died in infancy, a brother, Charles Marvin Langston and two sisters, Margaret Williams and Doris June Bruns.
She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Wilford, of the home, their three daughters, Gae Linn (Tom) Brislan, of Lenexa, KS, Rae Jean (Steve) Fasano, of Spring Hill, KS, and Lisa Lea (Victor) Walker of Kansas City, MO, grandchildren, Allison (David) Williams, Jamison Greig and Jake Walker, numerous step-grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, twins, Reece and Luke, who were the joy of her life.
Also surviving is a brother, William Langston and two sisters, Ethel Davis and Anna Mae Brown, all of Lincoln, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Mary E. Yach will be Monday, December 23, 2013, at 2:00 P.M., at the Davis-Miller Funeral Home, Lincoln, MO.
Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery near Lincoln, MO.
Friends may call after 10:00 A.M., Monday with family receiving friends at 1:30 P.M., Monday prior to services at the funeral home.

Roger E. Binney

Roger E. Binney, age 73, of Fristoe, Missouri, passed away Monday, December 23, 2013 at his home.
He was born on September 28, 1940 in Sedalia, Missouri, the son of Charles Wayne and Georgia Faye (Miller) Binney.
He grew up in Warsaw and attended school there. From 1961 until 1964, he served in the United States Army. After his honorable discharge, he return to the area and worked for Lake City Arsenal and the City of Independence.
He is preceded in death by his parents and one brother Jackie Lavon Binney.
He is survived by his daughter, Theresa Binney, of Independence, Missouri, a son, Ernest Binney, of Florida, three brothers; Dean Binney, of Sedalia, Larry Binney, of Warsaw and Charles Binney, of Port Angela, Washington, three sisters; Stella Esser, of Warsaw, Dixie Woolems, of Oakdale, California and Gloria Hartt, of Warsaw, two half-brothers; Lee Binney and Bob Binney, both of California, six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, numerous other relatives and friends.
Graveside services for Roger Binney will be held at 11:30 A.M. Saturday, December 28, 2013 at the Concord Cemetery in Fristoe, Missouri.
Visitation will be held at the Reser Funeral Home, in Warsaw on Saturday from 10:00 until 11:00 A.M.
Pallbearers will be Joseph Binney, Brandon Binney, Michael Binney, Jackie Esser, Robert Jeffries, David Jeffries, Oran Keyth Hartt and John Binney.
Joseph Arthur Hawthorne

Joseph A. Hawthorne, age 88, of the Finey Community near Warsaw, Missouri, passed away Monday afternoon, December 23, 2013, at St. Luke's Medical Center in Lee's Summit, Missouri.
He was born in Marion, Ohio, on July 20, 1925.
He grew up there and enlisted in the United States Army at the age of eighteen. He was a veteran of World War II, serving overseas in Europe and Germany. He received the Purple Heart for a gunshot wound to the hip he suffered during combat near the Rhine River in Germany.
Following the war, he returned to make his home in Wyandotte County, Kansas.
He was then united in marriage to Phyllis Mae McAdams. Following their marriage he was employed as maintenance worker for American Beauty Pasta Company later purchased by the Hershey Company and retired as the plant manager.
His wife preceded him in death on June 4, 1995.
He was then married to JoAnn Marie Diebold on Thanksgiving day, November 28, 2000. They made their home in the Finey Community.
He was a long-time member of the Wyandotte Lodge #3 A. F. & A. M. in Kansas City, Kansas. He was a member and deacon of the Finey Baptist Church.
Joseph enjoyed fishing during his retirement years and helping other people. He was also generous to strangers, giving money to people coming to his door and making donations to mail solicitations from charities from everywhere.
He loved his country and was proud of his military service and grateful for the Purple Heart decoration.
Joseph is survived by his wife, JoAnn, of the home, one son, Edward Jenkins, of Kansas City, Missouri, an older sister, Rosella Warren, of Marion, Ohio, one brother, Harvey Hawthorne, of Edwardsville, Kansas, other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, December 28, 2013, at the Reser Funeral Home in Warsaw, Missouri, with Rev. Jim Eager officiating.
Pallbearers will be John Deckard, Edward Jenkins, Joe Duncan, Jerry Myers, Jim Ragsdale and Dan Veach.
Visitation will be from 7:00 to 8:00 PM Friday evening at the funeral home.
Burial with Military Honors will be at the Finey Cemetery.
