Lois Marie Rexford, age 93, of Lincoln, MO, passed away Sunday, January 25, 2015, at the Lincoln Community Care Center in Lincoln, MO.
Survivors include a daughter, Janet Kocsis, of Warsaw.
Lois wishes were to be cremated without services.
Cremation by Kaysinger Crematory under the direction of the Davis-Miller Funeral Home, Lincoln, MO.
Edith Maxine Menteer

Died: January 18, 2015
Edith Maxine Menteer, age 92, of Warsaw, Missouri, formerly of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away January 18, 2015 at the Warsaw Health & Rehabilitation Center.
She was born on December 18, 1922, the daughter of Edmun and Jessie Optiz in Arma, Kansas.
She was a school teacher in Arma, Kansas then later, was employed as a clerk for the Railroad until her retirement after nearly 50 years of service.
She is preceded in death by her parents and one brother, George Opitz.
She is survived by her son, Dennis Morgan, and his wife, Linda, of Warsaw, two grandsons, Shaun Morgan of Nevada, Missouri, and Adam Morgan of Rolla, Missouri, one granddaughter, Elizabeth Hedrick, of Rolla, Missouri, and 9 great-grandchildren.
She is also survived by numerous loving nieces, nephews and cousins.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.

Gary W. Williamson

Gary W. Williamson, age 56, of Lincoln, passed away Thursday, February 5, 2015, at his home.
He was born on March 24, 1958, in Kansas City, MO, the son of Marvin and Mary Ashley Williamson.
He grew up in Kansas City, and moved with his family to Warsaw, in 1981, and to Lincoln, in 1983.
Gary was an assembly line worker. He loved to fish and play pool. He enjoyed building model airplanes and "playfully" harassing his sisters.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Anna, and a nephew, Scott Blackmore.
He is survived by four sisters, Erma Blackmore, and her husband, Lee, of Broken Arrow, OK, Marlene Sponseller and companion, Doyle Davis, of Lincoln, Sheila Stacy, and her husband, Jim, of Tulsa, OK, and Sandy Knox, of Lincoln, three nephews, Justin Horn, Lee Blackmore, II, and Kyle Horn, two great-nephews, Kahner Horn and Abraham Blackmore, one great-niece, Karis Horn.
Cremation.
A memorial gathering will be held Saturday, February 14, 2015, from 11:00 to 3:00 P.M., at his apartment #1 in Cardinal Apartments, Lincoln, MO.

Jay D. Meyer

Jay D. Meyer, age 67, of Lincoln, passed away Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach, Missouri.
He was born on May 17, 1947 in Clarinda, Iowa the son of Lyman and Edna (Wischmeier) Meyer.
Jay grew up in Lincoln and graduated from Lincoln High School in 1965. He enlisted in the United States Army and served in Vietnam. He was honorably discharged in 1968.
He was united in marriage to Sandra Reyburn, and unto this union, three daughters were born. They made their home in Kansas City, where Jay owned and operated J&A Construction, until he retired and moved permanently to Lincoln in 1995.
He is a member of the VFW Post #5925 in Lincoln and the American Legion Post #217 in Warsaw.
He is survived by his wife Sandra, of the home, three daughters; Michelle Frame, of Lee’s Summit, Missouri, Melissa Berkley, and her husband Stephen, of Lee’s Summit and Melinda Dolan, and her husband Scott, of Overland Park, Kansas, a sister, Judy Tatum, and her husband Lee, of Sedalia, Missouri, nine grandchildren; Shelby Frame, Brittany Burciaga and her husband Hugo, Alex Halfmann, Shawn Halfmann, Joe Berkley, Nick Berkley and Ashley Berkley, all of Lee’s Summit and Cameron and Kaden Dolan, of Overland Park, three great-grandchildren, other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services for Jay D. Meyer will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, January 31, 2015 at the Davis-Miller Funeral Home in Lincoln, Missouri.
Visitation will be held Friday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
Burial and military rites will be in the Lincoln Cemetery.
Walter L. Mitchell

Walter L. Mitchell, aka "Wally Blue", age 77, of Warsaw, Missouri, passed away Thursday evening, September 20, 2012 at the Bothwell Regional Hospital, in Sedalia, Missouri.
He was born on October 30, 1934, in Bates City, Missouri, the son of Earle Walter and Hazel Katheryn (Baldus) Mitchell.
Wally attended Northeast High School. He served in the Korean War as a heavy equipment engineer for the United States Army, stationed in Germany from 1951 until 1955.
He made his home in Independence, Missouri and worked in construction for many years as an ironworker in the Kansas City area. He was a member of the Ironworkers Local #10 of Kansas City, Missouri and the American Legion Post #217 of Warsaw, Missouri.
Wally moved to Warsaw, in 1975 to help build and construct the Harry S. Truman Dam. He owned and operated Wally’s Liquor and Lounge and Bait and Tackle Store in Warsaw, until his retirement in 1992. Wally enjoyed the Truman Lake Area tremendously, and enjoyed all the activities and the people he met along the way.
He is preceded in death by a spouse, Virginia "Ginny" (Lombardo) Mitchell, one son Walter "Chuck" Mitchell a.k.a. "Chuck the Duck", a granddaughter Renee Lynn Snelson and one brother, Milroy Earle Mitchell and a step-daughter Debbie Hannah Turner
He is survived by a son Paul Mitchell a.k.a. "Tall Paul" from Omaha, and his wife Sharon, two sisters, Mona Jean and Millicent Earline, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services for Wally Mitchell will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 29, 2012 at the Reser Funeral Home, in Warsaw, with Bill Roberts, officiating.
Betty Jane Stechman

Betty Jane Stechman, age 82, of Warsaw, passed away Saturday, May 3, 2008, at her home.
She was born on November 14, 1925 at Sublette, Illinois, the daughter of John Henry and Anna Marie Nicholson.
She grew up in the Sublette, Illinois area and on September 3, 1942, she was united in marriage to Leonard Earl Stechman. Following their marriage, they made their home in Ottawa, Illinois.
In 1992, they moved to Warsaw, where they owned and operated the B and L Café in Warsaw, until May of 1985. From 1987 to 1996, they were partners in the Dam-the-Luck RV Park in Warsaw.
First and foremost, she loved spending time with her family. She thoroughly enjoyed fishing with her husband, Leonard, and their family as long as her health allowed. She loved hummingbirds and taking care of her flower garden. She was a big supporter of veterans and disabled veterans as well as donating to all the veterans’ memorials that she could. She was loved by all who knew her.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Ottawa, Illinois, and the VFW Post of Deer Creek, Illinois.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Leonard Earl Stechman, and an infant granddaughter, Megan.
She is survived by four sons, Larry Lyndell of Warsaw, Dale & Marlene Stechman of Deepwater, Missouri, David & Sandra Stechman of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, and John & Lynette Stechman of Morris, Illinois, four daughters, Dorothy Johnson & Lee Lines of Warsaw, Peggy & Joe Adamson, of St. Joseph, Illinois, Lorrie & Junior Parker of Warsaw, Elizabeth & Rick Whitworth, of Pueblo, Colorado, 18 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday, May 8, 2008 at the Shawnee Cemetery in Warsaw at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Paul Midgett, officiating.
Friends and family may call between 8:00 A.M. and 500 P.M. at the Reser Funeral Home, Warsaw.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Benton County Hospice in care of Reser Funeral Home.
Ronald E. "Tony" Donaghue

Ronald E. "Tony" Donaghue, age 76, of Springfield, MO, formerly of Warsaw, passed away Tuesday, February 3, 2015, at Cox South Hospital in Springfield, MO.
He was born on October 23, 1938, in Wichita, KS, the son of Leonard L. and Delores (Trigg) Donaghue.
Tony grew up in Wichita and graduated from Maze High School.
In 1962, he was united in marriage to Violet Barnes in Wichita. They made their home their where he was a postal carrier for the United States Postal Service for 30 years, retiring in 1999.
Following his retirement, they moved to Warsaw where they made their home until moving to Springfield, MO, in 2011.
He was a member of the Nazarene Church of Haysville, KS. He loved to garden and fish the Lakes of the Ozarks. He was a big NASCAR fan and enjoyed watching the races and #88.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Patsy and Jackie.
Surviving is his wife, Violet, of the home, one son, Douglas Donaghue and wife, Janet, of Wichita, KS, and a daughter, Amy Donaghue of Warsaw, five grandchildren, a great-grandson, one brother, John Donaghue of Tulsa, OK, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Ronald E. "Tony" Donaghue will be held at 10:00 A.M. Monday, February 9, 2015, at the Reser Funeral Home in Warsaw, MO.
Visitation will be held Sunday, Feb. 8, 2015, from 5:00 until 6:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
Graveside services and interment will be in the Riverside Cemetery, in Warsaw.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Nazarene Church of Haysville, KS, in care of the funeral home.
A Memorial service will also be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, February 28, 2015, at the University Friends Church, 1840 W. University Street, Wichita, KS.
Mildred N. Blackburn

Mildred N. Blackburn, age 100, passed away Saturday, February 21, 2015 at the Warsaw Health & Rehabilitation Center.
