Dolores D. Daniels, age 92, of Brunswick, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, July 16, 2002 at Fitzgibbons Hospital, Marshall, Missouri.
She was born September 22, 1909 in Brunswick, Missouri the daughter of Herman and Irene Ward Ewing. She was a member of the First Missionary Baptist Church of Brunswick. She worked as an office building elevator operator in St. Louis, Missouri.
She was married to Roland Daniels in St. Louis, Missouri. He preceded her in death in 1978.
She is survived by three daughters, Gloria Chinn, Seattle, Washington, Louella Wilkins, Kansas City, Missouri, Maxine Scholls, Citrus Heights, California; one sister, Herma Allen, Chillicothe, Missouri; four great-nieces; three great-nephews; one great-great-niece and one great-great-great-nephew.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, one son, Donald Lloyd; and one sister, Norma Lea Chinn.
Graveside services will be Friday, July 19, 2002 at 11:00 a.m., Masonic Cemetery, Brunswick, Missouri with Pastor Ken Randolph officiating. Visitation will be from 10-10:45 a.m., before service time, at Gibson Funeral Home, Brunswick, Missouri. Hazel Belle Linville, age 95, of Norborne, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, July 16, 2002 at Ray County Memorial Hospital, Richmond, Missouri.
She was born August 23, 1906 in Bucklin, Missouri, the daughter of Robert Lee and Mary Elzina Myers Preston. She attended schools in Bucklin, Missouri and graduated from High School in Henrietta, Missouri. She was a housewife and mother. She was a member of the United Methodist Church, Norborne, Missouri, where she served as treasurer for several years.
On October 26, 1925 she married Roy W. Linville, Sr. in Olathe, Kansas. He preceded her in death on April 15, 1997.
She was also preceded in death by one son, Roy W. Linville, Jr. and one daughter, Carol Nicholson.
Survivors include six grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Graveside services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m., Friday, July 19, 2002 at Fairhaven Cemetery, Norborne, Missouri, with Reverend Bob Payne officiating.

Bruce H. Kinder, age 79, of Carrollton, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, July 17, 2002 at Carroll County Memorial Hospital, Carrollton, Missouri.
He was born May 1, 1923 in Carroll County, Missouri, the son of Fred and Dora Nolke Kinder, the second of two sons. He attended Shootman School in Combs Township and the Lutheran School in Carrollton. He was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church, Carrollton, Missouri. He had served on the Combs Township Board. As a young man, he helped on the family farm, then for a short time, worked for the pipeline. Later, he returned to the family farm. He farmed for several years; then in the 60's, started Kinder Construction and remained in the excavating business until 2001 when he retired due to failing health.
On December 23, 1953, he married Zelma Mae Butler in Excelsior Springs, Missouri. Of this union, two daughters were born.
Survivors include two daughters, Brenda Cartee and fianc�, Gary Austin, Carrollton, Missouri, Bonnie Hickson and husband, Don, Kansas City, Missouri; two step-sons, Gene Crumpacker, Carrollton, Missouri, Ronnie Crumpacker, Lisle, Illinois; two grandchildren, Larry Douglas Cartee and Danielle Kay Cartee, Carrollton, Missouri; the mother of his children and good friend, Zelma Kinder, Warsaw, Missouri; one brother, Harold Kinder and wife, Juanita, Carrollton, Missouri; along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, July 20, 2002 at Gibson Funeral Home, Carrollton, Missouri with Reverend Eric Swyres officiating. Burial will be in Carroll Memory Gardens, Carrollton, Missouri.
Visitation will be from 9:30-10:30 a.m., prior to the service.

Lloyd Wayne (Squeak) Carson, age 47, passed away Thursday, July 18, 2002 at the University Medical Center, Columbia, Missouri. He was born September 28, 1954 in Moberly, Missouri, the son of Elmer and Mary Lee Jenkins Carson. He attended Brunswicks schools and graduated from Brunswick High School in 1973. He was an auto body repairman for several years. He was a member of the Bethany Baptist Church, Marceline, Missouri. He was affiliated with the Out of Town Cruisers Car Club at Marceline. Survivors include one son, Andrew P. Carson, Savannah, Missouri; one daughter, Megan L. Carson, Savannah, Missouri; two brothers, Charles Carson, DeWitt, Missouri, Danny Carson, Brookfield, Missouri; one sister, Mary Knight, Kansas City, Missouri. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services will be held at the Gibson Funeral Home, Brunswick, Missouri on Monday, July 22, 2002 at 10:30 a.m. with Dr. Steven G. Long officiating. Betty Jo Calvert Grossman, 76, Bosworth, Missouri, passed away Saturday, July 20, 2002 at the Carrollton Nursing Center, Carrollton, Missouri.
She was born June 7, 1926 near Bosworth, Missouri, the daughter of Arthur Keen, Sr. and Elizabeth Calvert.
She attended Bosworth Grade and High School and graduated from Chillicothe Beauty Academy.
Betty operated a beauty salon in Bosworth for several years. She enjoyed gardening, her dogs and cats, and spending time with her family and friends.
She was married to Rex Allen Grossman on June 21, 1941 in Chillicothe, Missouri; he preceded her in death on October 1, 1992.
Survivors include five sons and daughters-in-law, Norman and Kathleen Grossman, Carrollton, Missouri, Ronnie and Charlotte Grossman, Tina, Missouri, Robert and Bonnie Grossman, Tulsa, Oklahoma, Greg and Tammy Grossman, Kidder, Missouri, Jim and Robin Grossman, Bosworth, Missouri; two daughters and sons-in-law, Donna and Robert Grimes, DeWitt, Missouri, Joyce and Donnie Meyer, Brunswick, Missouri; one brother, Thomas Calvert, Bosworth, Missouri; one sister, Gladys Durnil, Kewanee, Illinois; twenty-one grandchildren; twenty-one great grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Arthur Keen, Jr., Jewell Curtis, five half brothers, Mitchell, Clyde, Joe, John Henry and William Kinley, and one half sister, Myrtle Dell Purdy.

Doris Jean Closterman Richardson, a former Waverly, Missouri resident, passed away Monday, July 22, 2002 at Bothwell Regional Health Center, Sedalia, Missouri. She was born December 13, 1939 in Howell, Missouri, the daughter of Charles Robert and Margaret Louise Duncan Higginbotham. She attended Howell Grade and High Schools and graduated from Howell High School. She was a nurse at Kelling Hospital in Waverly, Missouri for many years. She was a member of the Waverly Christian Church.
On August 1, 1959 she married David Lee Closterman in Fulton County, Arkansas. He preceded her in death on April 11, 1985.
Survivors include one son, Brad Closterman, Waverly, Missouri; one daughter, Deborah Sawa, Charleston, South Carolina; one brother Earnest Lee Higginbotham, Jacksonville, Florida; eight grandchildren and one great grandchild.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, Charles Robert and Robert Wesley.

Aleen Virginia Showalter, age 83, of Olympia, Washington, passed away at her home July 22, 2002. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clay and Norine Shirky; her husband, John; one daughter, Carol; three brothers, Max Shirky, Virgil Shirky, David Shirky; and one sister, Lucille Shirky.
She is survived by two sisters, Louise Moranetz and Bernita Bertolucci; two brothers, William Shirky and James Shirky; two sons, Phil Showalter and wife, Ann; Paul Showalter; one daughter, Joy Showalter and husband, Terry Goatz; six grandchildren, Lauri Bowles, David Showalter, Gathan Showalter, Clay Showalter, Jonathon Pults, Angie Pults; five great grandchildren, Emily Bowles, Katie Bowles, Noah Bowles, Caleb Showalter and Summer Showalter.
Aleen was born in rural Norborne, Missouri June 17, 1919. She graduated from Central High School in Rockingham in 1937. She served the Church of the Nazarene as a minister's wife and devoted her efforts to missions programs, children's ministries, and compassionate ministries. She was devoted to her family. She loved traveling. She touched the lives of hundreds of families by providing home day care for over twenty years.
She will be remembered for her humble spirit, generosity and strength.
Graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, July 27, 2002 at Fairhaven Cemetery, Norborne, Missouri with Reverend Mark Wallace officiating.

Mary Lucille Albrecht Henderson, age 92, of Norborne, Missouri, passed away Thursday, July 25, 2002 at Carroll County Memorial Hospital, Carrollton, Missouri.
She was born February 16, 1910 in Norborne, Missouri, the daughter of Antone and Anna Wagner Albrecht. She attended Swan Lake Grade School. She was born and raised in the Catholic church. She was a housewife and mother; and loved bowling, crocheting and gardening.
On November 10, 1928, she married John Alvin Henderson in Richmond, Missouri. He preceded her in death on March 8, 1990.
Survivors include three daughters, Gladys Webb, Norborne, Missouri, Verna Melville, Norborne, Missouri, Vera Bowman, Carrollton, Missouri; one brother, Glen Albrecht, Norborne, Missouri; one sister, Lois Stotts, Victorville, California; five grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, three step great grandchildren; and one great great grandson.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Demp Albrecht, Virgil Albrecht; three sisters, Norma Albrecht, Lenora Henderson, Ella Mae Albrecht; two grandchildren, Harold Alan Bowman and Linda Bowman.
Funeral services were at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, July 27, 2002 at Gibson Funeral Home, Carrollton, Missouri with Reverend Mike Koch officiating. Burial was in Oak Hill Cemetery, Carrollton, Missouri.

Ruth Anna Davies, 50, of Lexington, Missouri, passed away Friday, July 26, 2002, at her home.
Ruth was born July 5, 1952 in Lexington, Missouri; the daughter of John Wesley and Mary Annabelle Kindle Orender.
She attended the Lexington, Missouri Grade School and graduated from Kenosha, Wisconsin High School.
She was a housewife and a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Waverly, MO .
Survivors include her mother, Mary Orender, Waverly, MO; one daughter, Lisa Buttera, Lexington, MO; two sons, Anthony Davies and Brandon Davies, Lexington, Mo; her husband Patrick Mallinger, Lexington, Missouri, her husband, Patrick Mallinger, lexington, Missouri; four grandchildren; and three brothers, Timothy Orender, Malta Bend, MO, Daniel Orender, Waverly, MO; and Joseph Orender, Iowa Park, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her father and one brother, John.
Funeral Services were held at 10:30 A.M. Monday, July 29, 2002, at the First Assembly of God Church in Waverly, Missouri; with the Reverend John Selleck officiating.

Herbert L. Wohlgemuth, 81, of R.R. # 2, Hale, Missouri, passed away Saturday, July 27, 2002, at his home.
Herbert was born August 27, 1920 in Bonnets Mill, Missouri; the son of John M. and Emily Myrtle Wilson Wohlgemuth.
He attended the Shootman School and followed the occupation of farming.
Herbert was married to Mary Ellen Sewell on July 28, 1941 at the First Baptist Church in Carrollton, Missouri by the Reverend Merrill Mitchell; she survives at the home.
Other survivors include one son, Herbert Leslie Wohlgemuth, Jr., Bosworth, Missouri; two daughters, Beverly Sue Hamilton, Kearney, Missouri and Bonnie Lynn Grossman, Tulsa, Oklahoma; seven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; two sisters, Wilma Wohlgemuth, Gladstone, Missouri and Melva Poire, Bosworth, Missouri; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers, Cecil, Albert, Loren, Glen, and James, and four sisters, Thelma, Kathryn, Lulaida, and one in infancy.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 30th, at the Gibson Funeral Home in Bosworth, Missouri, with Pastor Fred Seba officiating.
Burial was in the Union Cemetery, Bosworth, Missouri.
