Funeral services were at 2:30 p.m., Friday, December 13, 2002 at Gibson Funeral Home, Brunswick, Missouri with Reverend Lanny Lybarger officiating. Clifford Wayne Frock, age 70, of Bosworth, Missouri passed away Thursday, December 12, 2002 at St. Luke's Hospital, Kansas City, Missouri.
He was born October 17, 1932 in Compton, Missouri , the son of James William Murray and Stella Mary Cross Frock. He attended schools in Bosworth and Hale, Missouri.
On July 11, 1952 he married Dorothy Fae Brammer in Brookfield, Missouri. She survives at the home. He was a United States Army Veteran of the Korean War. Clifford was a farmer and had worked construction. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.
He is also survived by one son, James William Murray and wife, Zada, Bosworth, Missouri; two daughters, Cheryl Jean Lineberry and husband, Bruce, Hale, Missouri; Diana Sue Lyon and friend, Pete Wooden, Bosworth, Missouri; three sisters, Jessie Jenkins, Brunswick, Missouri, Helen Emrich, Indian Grove, Missouri, Vernadean Carroll, Bosworth, Missouri; fourteen grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by one son, two daughters, one grandson, four brothers and five sisters.
Graveside services were at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, December 15, 2002 at Hale Memorial Gardens, Hale, Missouri with Reverend Lanny Lybarger officiating.
Visitation was Saturday, December 14, 2002 from 7-9:00 p.m., at Gibson Funeral Home, Bosworth, Missouri.

Lola Mae Alverson Smith, age 49, of Carrollton, Missouri passed away Monday, December 16, 2002 at Carroll House, Carrollton, Missouri.
She was born October 26, 1953 in Paris, Missouri, the daughter of Donald and Lorene Jenks Alverson. She attended schools in Paris, Missouri.
On December 6, 1986 she married Jeffrey Lee Smith in Carrollton, Missouri. He survives at the home. She was a housewife and mother.
She is also survived by six sons; J. D. Riechers, Carrollton, Missouri, Dean Riechers, Arnold, Missouri, Bill Freeman, Kansas City, Missouri, Snapper Freeman, Jeff Smith, Jr. and Donald Smith, all of Carrollton, Missouri, one daughter, Carol Smith, Grand Pass, Missouri; three brothers, John Alverson, Olathe, Kansas, Donald Alverson, Fulton, Missouri, Bud Alverson, Brunswick, Missouri; one sister, Kathy Churnside, Bentonville, Arkansas; and seven grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation was Thursday, December 19, 2002 from 7-8:30 p.m. at Gibson Funeral Home, Carrollton, Missouri.

Ruby J. Foose Campbell, age 90, of Waverly, Missouri, passed away Monday, December 23, 2002 at Lafayette Regional Hospital, Lexington, Missouri.
She was born May 18, 1912 in Waverly, Missouri the daughter of Cecil and Ada McKee Foose. She attended Hazel Hill School.
On August 28, 1978 she married Joseph Campbell. He preceded her in death.
Ruby was a housewife and mother. She was a member of the Waverly Christian Church.
She is survived by two sisters, Edna Ellis, Dover, Missouri; Betty Williams, Gravois Mills, Missouri; four grandchildren; several great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, one son, Cecil, and one sister.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m., Friday, December 27, 2002 at the Waverly Christian Church, Waverly, Missouri with Reverend Mike Koch officiating. Burial will be in Waverly Cemetery, Waverly, Missouri.

Dana V. "Rosie" Rodenberg, age 75, of Bogard, Missouri passed away Monday, December 23, 2002 at his home. .
He was born September 23, 1927 in Norborne, Missouri the son of James and Anna Crockett Rodenberg. He attended rural schools and graduated from Norborne High School. He served in the United States Navy and was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Pence-Lovell- England Post #1773, Carrollton, Missouri.
On March 7, 1952 he married Nellie Bowlen in Warsaw, Missouri.
Dana had driven a truck for Lock Brothers; in addition, operated his trucking service, Rodenberg Livestock and worked for Griffin Construction Company for a number of years. He was a volunteer fireman.
He is survived by his wife of the home; one daughter, Patricia and husband, J. D. Richardson, Lee Summit, Missouri; three sons, Danny and wife, Ginny, Bogard, Missouri, Kenneth, Bogard, Missouri, Randy, Wheeling, Missouri; one sister, Juanita Waters and husband, Wick, Williamsburg, Kentucky; nine grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, James, and one grandson, Matt.
Mr. Rodenberg will lie in state at Gibson Funeral Home, Carrollton, Missouri, Thursday and Friday, December 26 and 27, 2002 until service time.

Margaret Jane "Tootsie" Bitzenberg, age 90, of Carrollton, Missouri passed away Tuesday, December 24, 2002 at Carrollton Nursing Center, Carrollton, Missouri.
She was born March 1, 1912 in Keytesville, Missouri the daughter of James Hershel and Leta Worsham Davis. She attended Keytesville Grade Schools and graduated from Keytesville High School.
On July 3, 1943 she married Arthur Bitzenberg in Marceline, Missouri. He preceded her in death.
Tootsie was employed with Banner Cookie Company. She was a member of the United Methodist Church, Carrollton, Missouri.
She is survived by one daughter, Kathleen Bitzenberg Sanders, Baytown, Texas; one son, Charles Bert Bitzenberg, Joplin, Missouri; two brothers, Daniel James Davis, Carrollton, Missouri, Martin Lee Davis, State of Mississippi; one granddaughter, Tanya Kathleen Sanders, Beaumont, Texas.
She was also preceded in death by her parents.

She was born May 14, 1941 in Gravois Mills, Missouri, the daughter of Elmer A. and Betty B. Johnson. She attended Gravois Mills Schools.
She is survived by one son; Charles Anthony Muehlebach, Panama City, Florida; one daughter, Sonya Lea Muehlebach, Greenville, Tennessee; two brothers, Lenard Johnson, Versailles, Missouri, Howard Johnson, Waverly, Missouri; three sisters, Florence Daniels, Palo, Iowa, Deliah Clouse, Waverly, Missouri, Violet Kelso, Versailles, Missouri, four grandchildren, Anthony Charles Muehlebach, Nettie Rae Siler, Nathaniel David Siler and Corey Muehlebach.

Orval E. Lamb, age 98, of Carrollton, Missouri, passed away Sunday, December 29, 2002 at Bristol Manor Residential Care Facility, Carrollton, Missouri.
He was born September 22, 1904 in Jamesport, Missouri the son of Earnest and Mildred Hobbs Lamb. He attended schools in Jamesport, Missouri.
He was married to Thelma Leon Klingensmith in Lamoni, Iowa. She preceded him in death on November 29, 1972. In 1974, he married Marie Bricken Allen in Carrollton, Missouri. She preceded him in death on January 31, 2000.
Orval had held office as Carrollton Police Chief and Assessor; worked for Skelly Oil Company driving a tank wagon; Brockmeier Oil Company, Kassen-Earickson Ford and Carrollton Municipal Utilities. He was a member of the United Methodist Church, Carrollton, Missouri; Wakanda Lodge #52 AF & AM, where he served as Worshipful Master; he was a Worthy Patron of the Order Of The Eastern Star.
He is survived by one son, Rex Lamb and wife, Margee, Carrollton, Missouri; two daughters, Elaine Plackemeier, Carrollton, Missouri, Evonne White and husband, Charles, Maryville, Missouri; one sister, Anna Lucas, Denver, Colorado; eight grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; five great great grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by one son, Earnest Lamb; one brother, Earnest Albert (Al) Lamb; and one sister, Ruby Morrison.

James Delbert Smith, age 87, of Carrollton, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, December 31, 2002 at North Kansas City Hospital, North Kansas City, Missouri.
He was born April 23, 1915 in DeWitt Township the son of James and Lottie Jones Smith. He attended Rockford Country School and graduated from Bosworth High School in 1933.
On October 19, 1940 he married Mattie Jane Kerby at the First Baptist Church, Carrollton, Missouri. She survives at the home.
Mr. Smith was a farmer. He sang at funerals and weddings for over twenty years. He was a member of the First Baptist Church, Carrollton, Missouri. He was an Ordained Deacon and had served at Bosworth, Concordia and Carrollton churches. He managed the farm affairs for the Carrollton church. He was a Rockford Township Committeeman.
In addition to his wife of the home, he is survived by one daughter, Nancy Sue Smith and husband, Dale, Carrollton, Missouri; one son, Brian A. Smith, Jefferson City, Missouri; one sister, Eithel Crose, Washington, Missouri; grandchildren, David Garretson, Temecula, California, Sherri Collier, Kansas City, Missouri, Kelly Harvey, Parkville, Missouri, Thuy Henry, Springfield, Missouri, Amy Day, Carrollton, Missouri, Jeffrey Smith, Springfield, Missouri; seven great grandsons and one great granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Delmar Smith; and one sister, Edith Shine.
Funeral services were at 1:30 p.m., Thursday, January 2, 2003 at Gibson Funeral Home, Carrollton, Missouri with Reverend Jeff Maxwell officiating. Burial was in Wharton Cemetery, Bosworth, Missouri.
Visitation was from 6:30-8:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 1, 2003 at the funeral home.

Carolyn Nell Stewart, age 65, of Brunswick, Missouri passed away Wednesday, January 1, 2003 at her home. She was born November 4, 1937 in Bassfield, Mississippi the daughter of Ethel May Wilson. She was married to William E. Stewart who preceded her in death. She had been a waitress most of her life. She is survived by one daughter, Susan Truly, New Orleans, Louisiana; one son, William Stewart, Bosworth, Missouri; and five grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was also preceded in death by her parents and one son, Richard Lynn Stewart. Mrs. Stewart was cremated.
