Robert Lynn Morehead, 26, of Gladstone, MO, passed away Friday, July 11, 2003, at the Junction of Highway's 169 & 9, as a result of a vehicle accident.
Robert was born August 28, 1976 in Carrollton, Missouri; the son of Robert Dean and Diana Lynn Womack Morehead.
He attended Carrollton Grade and High School and was a Parts Salesman for Honda-Yamaha in Kansas City, Missouri.
He was a Baptist.
Survivors include his father, Robert Dean Morehead, Sedalia, Missouri; his mother and step-father, Diana Lynn and Mike George, Carrollton, Missouri; one daughter, Samantha Jo Simmons, Brunswick, Missouri; one son, Robert Eugene Dylan Morehead, Brunswick, Missouri; two step-brothers, David George and his wife, Sue, Carrollton, Missouri and Chris George, Linneus, Missouri; his paternal grandparents, Robert J. and Claudine Morehead, Carrollton, Missouri; his maternal grandparents, Thelma Womack and the late Donald Womack, Carrollton, Missouri; several aunts, uncles, and cousins; and two nephews, Derek Richardson and Jarin George.
He was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal great-grandparents, Robert Glen Samuels Morehead and Marie Morehead, and Bart and Melissa Womack. Alene Duvall, age 86, of Carrollton, Missouri, passed away Monday, July 14, 2003, at the Carrollton Nursing Center, Carrollton, MO.
Alene was born January 29, 1917 in Strausberg, Missouri; the daughter of Paul Fay and Hazel Ann Kinsey Shore.
She recieved her education in Kansas City, Missouri and was employed as a secretary at Swift Implement Company in Carrollton, Missouri for several years.
Alene was married to Burks Raymond Shelton in Kansas City, Missouri; he preceded her in death. She was later married to Joel Edward (Jack) Trotter on June 7, 1945 in Kansas City, Missouri; he preceded her in death on August 24, 1971; after Jack's death she married Louis Duval on October 30, 1978 in Carrollton, Missouri; he preceded her in death.
She is survived by one son, Dean Shelton, and his wife Beverly of Fair Oaks, California; one brother, Glenn Shore and his wife, Martha, of Strausberg, Missouri; two grandchildren, Robin Hart, Beaverton, Oregon and Kirk Shelton, Gardnerville, Nevada; and six great-grandchildren.
Graveside services were held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, July 17, 2003, at Oak Hill Cemetery, Carrollton, Missouri, with the Reverend Ken Criqui officiating. Visitation was held prior to the service at the Gibson Funeral Home in Carrollton.

Robert Leroy Simmons, 64, of San Antonio, Texas, formerly of DeWitt, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, July 16, 2003, in Fayetteville, Arkansas, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Robert was born August 13, 1938 in Mooresville, Missouri; the son of Bill and Mayme K. Thompson Simmons.
He recieved his education at DeWitt Grade School, Brunswick High School, and two years of college.
Robert was married to Terry M. Vieira on March 20, 1991 in Castorville, Texas; she survives at the home.
He was a Computer Systems Analyst for the United States Government serving 22 years with the U.S. Air Force and 22 years in Civil Service before retiring.
Robert was a member of the Harvest Hill Independent Baptist Church in Converse, Texas and the William M. Randolph American Legion Post # 593 in Converse, Texas.
Survivors include three sons, Robert M. Caron, San Antonio, Texas, Robert L. Simmons, Jr., San Antonio, Texas, William Simmons, Converse, Texas; three daughters, Peggy Clark, San Antonio, Texas, Jennifer S. Cord, Wichita Falls, Texas, and Connie Ray Hack, Denver, Colorado; nine grandchildren; four brothers, Charlie Simmons, Port Barre, Louisiana, Mitchell Simmons, Winter Haven, California, Virgil Simmons, Brunswick, Missouri, Willie Simmons, Springfield, Missouri; four sisters, Cleta Darlene Casella, Swedesboro, New Jersey, Goldie Gray, Los Alamos, New Mexico, Daisy Shackelford, Fayetteville, Arkansas, Julia Ann Taylor, Tampa, Florida; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Deborah Simmons and two sisters, Betty Lou Simmons and Mable Smith.
Funeral services were conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, July 21, 2003, at the Gibson Funeral Home in Brunswick, Missouri, with the Reverend Donnie Lybarger officiating.
Burial and Military Graveside Services were held at the Evergreen Cemetery, DeWitt, Missouri and were conducted by the Rucker-McAllister American Legion Post # 7, Brunswick, MO.

Robert Charles (Bob) Hudgens, age 77, of Carrollton, Missouri passed away Tuesday, July 22, 2003 at Carroll House, Carrollton, Missouri.
Bob was born October 10, 1925 in Frisbee, Missouri, the son of Thalmas and Goldie Hudgens. He attended schools in Carrollton, Missouri. He was retired from the United States Navy after twenty years of service and had worked for Banquet Foods for twenty years. He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Pence-Lovell-England Post #1773, Carrollton, Missouri.
Bob is survived by one son and one daughter; Danny Hudgens and Tammy Wellman, Carrollton, Missouri; four brothers and sisters, Norma Hudgens, State of California; Merle Jones, Kennett, Missouri, Phyllis Pelts, Kennett, Missouri, Ralph Jones, St. Louis, Missouri; three grandchildren, Lyndsie Wellman, Jerin Hudgens and Colten Wellman, all of Carrollton, Missouri.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Mac and Berlin Hudgens.
Graveside services will be at 10:00 a.m., Friday, July 25, 2003 at Carroll Memory Gardens, Carrollton, Missouri with Reverend Lee Borders officiating. Military services will be given by Veterans of Foreign Wars Pence-Lovell-England Post #1773, Carrollton, Missouri.
Visitation will be from 9-9:45 a.m. before the service at Gibson Funeral Home, Carrollton, Missouri.

Sinton Jones, 82, of Carrollton, Missouri, passed away Saturday, July 26, 2003, at the Carroll County Memorial Hospital.
Sinton was born January 22, 1921 in rural Carrollton; the son of Henry Sinton and Fannie Williams Jones.
He attended Carrollton Grade and High School graduating in 1939. After graduation Sinton entered the military and served in the United States Army during World War II where he recieved two silver stars and the Distinguished Service Cross.
Sinton was married to Polly Goodson on October 6, 1946 at the First Christian Church in Carrollton, Missouri; she survives at the home.
He retired from the Missouri Gas Service Company after several years of employment..
He was a member of the First Christian Church of Carrollton and the Christian Men's Fellowship of the Church and had served as President of the Church Board.
Survivors include his wife , Polly, of the home; one daughter and son-in-law, Robin and Jorge Farias, Carrollton, Missouri; two grandchildren, Catherine and Natalie Farias, Carrollton, Missouri; one brother and sister-in-law, Austin and Patsy Jones, Carrollton, Missouri; one sister, Virginia Schenk, Springfield, Missouri; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Herbert Jones.
Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 28, 2003, at the First Christian Church in Carrollton, Missouri, with the Reverend Joe Barone officiating.
Visitation was held just prior to the service at the church.
Burial with Military Graveside Services were held at the Oak Hill Cemetery, Carrollton, MO, by the Pence-Lovell-England Post # 1773 of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Frances Elizabeth Wooldridge, age 90, of Brunswick, Missouri passed away, Tuesday, August 5, 2003 at the Brunswick Nursing Home. She was born on September 18, 1912 in Oswago, Kansas, the daughter of William and Maude Meador Garten. She married William E. Wooldridge, Sr. on February 26, 1937 in Kansas City, Missouri. He preceded her in death in 1957. She had been an accountant beginning in 1929 for the Jones Store, Folger's Coffee and the National Cash Register Company, all of Kansas City, Missouri; and after moving to Brunswick in 1947 she continued being an accountant until her retirement in 1993. She also served as Brunswick United Methodist Church and a member of the TTT. She is survived by one son, William E. Wooldridge, Jr. of Moberly, Missouri; one daughter, Nancy Wooldridge Engle of Leawood, Kansas; nine grandchildren, five great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. She was also preceded in death by her parents, one son, "Sparky" Meredith Lee Wooldridge; one sister, Mabel Garten and one brother, Meredith Garten. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 9, 2003 at the Brunswick Methodist Church at 10:30 a.m., with Reverend Phyllis Anderson officiating. Visitation will be on Friday from 7-8:30 p.m., at the Gibson Funeral Home in Brunswick, Missouri. Burial will be in Elliott Grove Cemetery at Brunswick. The family suggests memorials be made to the Chariton County Child Welfare Committee or to the Brunswick United Methodist Church.
Ivah Corinne Heins, age 72 , of Carrollton, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, August 6, 2003 at North Kansas City Hospital, North Kansas City, Missouri.
She was born March 21, 1931 near Roads, Missouri, the daughter of Claude Henry and Virginia Beavers Hinson. She attended Carrollton Grade and High Schools and graduated in 1949.
On January 7, 1956 she married Gerald L. Heins, Sr. He survives at the home. They were married at the United Methodist Church, Carrollton, Missouri by Reverend Perry P. Taylor. She was a bookkeeper for Heins Construction for twenty-five years which she and her husband owned and operated. Ivah had helped with Cub Scouts; was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star; Tarara Club; and a member of the United Methodist Church of Carrollton.
Ivah is also survived by four children; John P. Miller, Jr., Hardin, Missouri, James M. Miller and wife, Tonia, Carrollton, Missouri, Gerry Louise Germann and husband, Kenny, Carrollton, Missouri, Gerald L. Heins, Jr. and wife, Debbie, Carrollton, Missouri; one sister, M. Louise Gardner, Carrollton, Missouri; two sisters-in-law, Dorothy Hinson, Carrollton, Missouri, June Hinson, Liberty, Missouri; eight grandchildren, Johnna Schick, Mike Miller, Jennifer Hays, Megan Germann, Casey Heins, Susan Heins, Annie Heins, Angela Heins; and seven great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Claude and Dale Hinson; and one granddaughter who passed away on October 21, 1980, Amy Katherine Heins.
Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m., Saturday, August 9, 2003 at Gibson Funeral Home, Carrollton, Missouri with Reverend Sandra Crater officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Carrollton, Missouri.
Visitation will be from 7-8:00 p.m., Friday, August 8, 2003 at Gibson Funeral Home, Carrollton, Missouri.

William Thomas Stockdall, age 66, of Brunswick, Missouri passed away Thursday, August 7, 2003 at Columbia Regional Hospital, Columbia, Missouri. He was born May 12, 1937 in Cole Camp, Missouri the son of Joel and Sarah Casto Stockdall. He married Anna M. Swindell on December 26, 1986 in Mexico, Missouri. Mr. and Mrs. Stockdall moved to Brunswick from Centralia, Missouri in 1994. He had been a farmer and had attended the Assembly of God Church at Fayette, Missouri. He is survived by his wife, Anna, of the home; two daughters, Christine Marie Reever of Centerview, Missouri and Sarah Rovella Henselman of Aurora, Colorado; three sons, William Thomas Stockdall, Jr. of Corder, Missouri, Samuel Ross Stockdall of Brunswick, Missouri and Jerry Lynn Stockdall of Baytown, Texas; one step-daughter, Linda Kaye Worley of Mexico, Missouri; two step-sons, Rodger Dale Vance of Mexico, Missouri and William Earl Vance of Carrollton, Texas; four brothers, Charlie and Clayton Stockdall both of Centralia, Missouri, George Stockdall of Odessa, Missouri and Clarence Stockdall of Mexico, Missouri; four sisters, Margaret Pemberton of Hume, Missouri, Victoria Alexander of Edwards, Missouri, Eunice Halverson of Monroe City, Missouri and Dolly Moore of Iowa; eighteen grandchildren; two great grandchildren; five step grandchildren and three step great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and two sisters. Una B. "Bea" Johnson, age 93, of Marshall, Missouri passed away Tuesday, August 12, 2003 at the Living Center in Marshall, Missouri. She was born July 27, 1910 in Plattsburg, Missouri the daughter of Archie Estle and Louiza Emeline Johnson Hooper. She married Claude Wesley Johnson on June 14, 1930 in Carrollton, Missouri. Claude died on February 14, 1984. She had been a cook since 1956 at various restaurants in the Brunswick and Brookfield area until she retired in 1978. She was a former member of the Mendon Christian Church and a current member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints at Marshall, Missouri. She is survived by six children, Claudia Wiseman, Independence, Missouri, Laurel "Popeye" Robison, Pittsburg, Missouri, Larry Gale Johnson, Marshall, Missouri, Terry Johnson, Sweet Springs, Missouri, Brenda Jones, Mendon, Missouri, and Tom Johnson, Marshall, Missouri; one brother, Estle Dowell Hooper, State of California; thirty-three grandchildren; seventy great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her parents; four sons, Dale, Wayne, Kenneth and Kevin Johnson; four sisters and two brothers. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m., at Gibson Funeral Home, Brunswick, Missouri on Thursday, August 14, 2003 with Gail Brown officiating.
