Darrell Lloyd Carlson, age 83, of Carrollton, Missouri passed away Wednesday, August 13, 2003 at Carroll County Memorial Hospital, Carrollton, Missouri.
He was born May 18, 1920 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, the son of Rudolph and May Savitz Carlson.
Darrell married Marion Faith Wright on October 10, 1956 in Miami, Oklahoma. She survives at the home.
Darrell was a Veteran of the United States Army having served during World War II. He trained paratroopers to ski in Leadville, Colorado. He had worked in the Detroit, Michigan area and at the Ford Motor Company in Kansas City, Missouri. He was an Automobile Design Engineer. He was a member of Wakenda Lodge #52 AF & AM, where he had held several offices, and the Ararat Shrine Temple in Kansas City, Missouri.
Darrell is survived by many nieces and nephews.
Mr. Carlson was cremated and private family services will be held at a later date.

William Ernest Wooldridge, Jr., age 64, of Moberly, Missouri passed away Wednesday, August 20, 2003 at the Brunsick Nursing Home, Brunswick, Missouri. He was born November 24, 1938 in Kansas City, Missouri the son of William E. Sr., and Frances Garten Wooldridge. Bill moved with his family to Brunswick in 1947 where his parents began the W. E. Wooldridge Accounting Firm. He graduated from Brunswick High School in 1956 and attended college at Central Methodist in Fayette, Missouri; Missouri Valley at Marshall, Missouri and Rockhurst in Kansas City, Missouri. He served his country as a member of the United States Army. In 1963 Bill moved to Carrollton, Missouri, expanding his father's accounting firm to the Carrollton area, and in 1967, he moved to Kansas City, Missouri again expanding the W. E. Wooldridge Accounting Firm. In 1984 he moved to Houston, Texas and then returned to Brunswick in 1993 where he continued to run the accounting firm. He moved to Moberly, Missouri in 1997. Bill was a member of the Moberly Lion's Club and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He is survived by his wife, Lani, of the home; one daughter, Kathleen Wooldridge Azhar and one son, William E. Wooldridge, III both of Houston, Texas; one step son, Krissen Mulyawan, Moberly, Missouri; one sister, Nancy Wooldridge Engle, Leawood, Kansas; four grandchildren and one great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, M. L. "Sparky" Wooldridge. Funeral services will be held at Gibson Funeral Home in Brunswick, Missouri on Saturday, August 23, 2003 at 3:00 p.m., with Gail Brown officiating. Visitation will be from 1:30-3:00 p.m., at the funeral home prior to the service. Burial will be in Elliott Grove Cemetery, Brunswick, Missouri. Martin Lee Sample, age 42, of Tina, Missouri passed away Thursday, August 21, 2003 at Heartland East Regional Medical Center, St. Joseph, Missouri.
Martin was born November 4, 1960 in Kansas City, Missouri, the son of Martin Leroy and Marcine Arnold Sample. He attended Tina Avalon School and Chillicothe Area Vocational Technical School. He followed the occupation of farming and was a Baptist.
Martin is survived by his mother, Marcine, of Tina, Missouri; three sons, Martin Lee Sample, Jr., Brian Michael Sample, Bradley Eugene Sample, all of Carrollton, Missouri; one daughter, Bobbie Jo Sample, Tina, Missouri; one brother, Michael Wayne Sample, Shawnee, Kansas; one sister, Jeanie Lynn Maskill, Lee's Summit, Missouri; three nieces, Denise Ishmal, Alisha Sample and Michelle Sample; and two nephews, Dylan Maskill and Austin Sample.
Martin was preceded in death by his father.
Funeral services were 1:00 p.m., Saturday, August 23, 2003 at the Bogard Baptist Church, Bogard, Missouri, with Reverend Don Gillispie officiating. Burial was in Rock Branch Cemetery, Tina, Missouri.
Visitation was from 12-12:45 p.m. at the church.

Gayle Everett Williams, 44, of Carrollton, Missouri, passed away Friday, August 22, 2003, near Chillicothe, Missouri.
Gayle was born August 19, 1959 in Carrollton, Missouri; the son of Ralph Austin and Gerralyn Ann Grossman Williams.
He attended Carrollton Grade School and graduated from Carrollton High School.
Gayle was employed by Waller Truck Lines in Richmond, Missouri and Waste Management Corporation of America.
He was a member of the First Christian Church of Waverly, Missouri.
Gayle was married to Pamela Sue Jordan on June 11, 1983 in Waverly, Missouri; she survives at the home.
Other survivors include two children , Jennifer Gayle Williams and Jordan Alan Williams, of the home; his parents, Ralph A. and Gerralyn A. Williams, Carrollton, Missouri; and one brother, Glenn Nelson Williams, Carrollton, Missouri; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 26, 2003, at the Wharton Cemetery, Bosworth, Missouri; with the Reverend Pat Gorsett officiating.
The body will lie in state Monday afternoon from 1:00 until 7:00 p.m. and Tuesday morning at the Gibson Funeral Home in Carrollton, Missouri.

Daphne Evans, 88, of Carrollton, Missouri, passed away Friday, August 22, 2003, at the Carroll House Retirement Center.
Daphne was born September 7, 1914 in Lane, Oklahoma; the daughter of Rathor Lee and Lydia Fitzpatrick Evans.
She attended schools in Oklahoma and was employed in an aircraft facility in California during World War II and at Banquet Foods in Carrollton, MO after her marriage.
Daphne was married to Marvin Lee Evans in San Diego, California; he preceded her in death on December 31, 1987.
She was a Methodist.
Daphne is survived by one son, Roger Evans, of Carrollton, Missouri; three sisters, Jackie Taylor, Ventura, California, Laquita Evans, Ventura, California, and Ynaith Evans, State of Arizona; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one sister Opal Goodwin and two brothers, Dale Evans and R.E. Evans.
Graveside Services were held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, August 25, 2003, at the Oak Hill Cemetery, Carrollton, Missouri, with Reverend Sandra Crater officiating.

Billy Clay Helm, Sr., passed away Saturday, August 23, 2003 at the Moberly Regional Medical Center. He was born on December 23, 1930 at Bosworth, Missouri, the son of Albert Sidney and Thelma Lyon Helm. He graduated from Bosworth High School in 1948. He was married to Deloris Thomas on July 9, 1949 in Carrollton, Missouri. Billy had been a truck driver for the American Oil Company for many years before he retired. He was a Christian. He is survived by his wife, Deloris, of the home; two daughters, Rose Minks, Las Cruces, New Mexico, Debbie Rumph, Greenville, Texas; one son, Billy Clay Helm, Jr., Dalton, Missouri; six grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and one sister. Funeral services will be held at the Gibson Fuenral Home in Brunswick, Missouri on Tuesday, August 26, 2003 at 10:30 a.m., with Reverend Lanny Lybarger officiating. Eugene William McClain, age 71, of Carrollton, Missouri passed away Monday, August 25, 2003 at his home.
He was born December 3, 1931 in Carrollton, Missouri, the son of Ed and Lorine Perry McClain. He graduated from Carrollton High School and the University of Missouri, Columbia. He was in the United States Navy during the Korean Conflict.
On November 26, 1960 he married Barbara Jean Sanford in Oak Park, Illinois. She survives at the home.
Gene was an Insurance Claims Manager for Underwriters Adjusting Company where he retired after many years of service. He was a Mason and a Baptist.
In addition to his wife, Barbara, Gene is also survived by one son, Michael S. McClain and wife, Jill, Allen, Texas; one daughter, Paula Kay Pearce and husband, Darrin, Henderson, Nevada; one brother, Ed McClain, Morningside, Maryland; four grandchildren, Briana Denter, St. George, Utah, Erica Breaux, Henderson, Nevada, Garrett McClain and Marshall McClain, both of Allen, Texas; two great granddaughters, Cymbre Denter and Aubri Denter, both of Henderson, Nevada.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m., Friday, August 29, 2003 at Gibson Funeral Home, Carrollton, Missouri with Reverend Jeff Maxwell officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Carrollton, Missouri.
He will lie in state from 1-7:00 p.m., at the funeral home on Thursday, August 28, 2003.

Corwin Newsom (Dutch) Stroemer, age 89, of Brunswick, Missouri, passed away Friday, August 29, 2003, at St. Luke's Hospital, Kansas City, Missouri. Dutch was born January 28, 1914 in Brunswick, Missouri the son of Oswald and Ida Newsom Stroemer. He received his education in Brunswick, Missouri and was employed as the Manager of the Missouri Cities Water Company for several years before his retirement. Dutch was married to Geraldine Wheeler on July 22, 1945 in Brunswick, Missouri. Dutch served his country as a member of the United States Marine Corps. He was a member of the United Methodist Church in Brunswick, Missouri, the V. F. W. , the Rucker-McAlister American Legion Post and had served on the Brunswick Library Board and City Council. Survivors include his wife, Geraldine, of the home; several nieces and nephews and the Johnson Kids. He was preceded in death by one brother, Council Stroemer; and three sisters, Lorene Hatfield, Loretta Kincaid, and Florence Guilford. At Dutch's request, there will be cremation with no services. Randall Wayne Neidholdt, age 48, of Chillicothe, Missouri and formerly of Brunswick, Missouri, passed away Monday, September 1, 2003 at the Kindred Hospital, Kansas City, Missouri. He was born May 3, 1955 the son of Herbert and Beatrice Straub Neidholdt. He graduated from Brunswick High School in 1973. Randy was disabled. He was a former member of the St. Johns' Lutheran Church before leaving Brunswick in 1975. He is survived by two brothers; John Neidholdt, Lenexa, Kansas, Michael Wayne Hollaway, Bucklin, Missouri; two sisters, Patricia Crandell, Indian Grove, Missouri and Jackie McQuinn, Cameron, Missouri. He was preceded in death by his parents. Graveside services will be held at Elliott Grove Cemetery, Brunswick, Missouri on Thursday, September 4, 2003 at 1:30 p.m., with Reverend Alan Brock officiating.
Donald Eugene Henderson, age 76, of Lexington, Missouri passed away Wednesday, September 3, 2003 at his home.
He was born June 23, 1927 in Norborne, Missouri, the son of Roy, Sr. and Clara Leona Lane Henderson. He attended grade schools in Norborne and Bogard, Missouri.
On June 11, 1949, he married Norma Sue Mayden at the Church of Christ in Carrollton, Missouri. She survives at the home.
Donald was a Veteran of World War II where he served in the United States Army. He was a farmer and had worked for Southern Pacific Pipeline as a Chief Operator, as a Machinist for Boeing Aircraft in Wichita, Kansas, co-owner of D & H Management, a sales representative for Waddell & Reed and an Auctioneer. He was a member of the First Christian Church, Lexington, Missouri, where he had served as a Deacon, on the church board and as property committee chairman.
In addition to his wife, Norma, Donald is survived by one sister, Christeen Tullos, Raytown, Missouri; two brothers, Roy Henderson, Jr., Lawson, Missouri, Morris Henderson, Liberty, Missouri and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Harold Leon Henderson, Kenneth Wayne Henderson and Charles Allen Henderson; and one sister, Margaret Louise Henderson.
Funeral services were at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, September 6, 2003 at Gibson Funeral Home, Carrollton, Missouri with Reverend Joe Barone officiating. Burial was in Carroll Memory Gardens, Carrollton, Missouri. Military services were provided by Veterans of Foreign Wars, Pence-Lovell-England Post #1773, Carrollton, Missouri.
Visitation was from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
