SHIRLEE JEAN JOHNSON
Shirlee Jean Johnson, 32, arrived to brighten our lives on July 27, 1969, but suddenly left us Oct. 1, 2001, from an asthmatic attack. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Ruby Dean Collins; grandfather, Robert Henry Breeden; and her very special great-grandparents, Alta Rena and Perry Baumgarden. She is survived by her husband, Vance; children, Cayla Dawn Breeden, Samantha Jean Colbert and Dylon Dennis Johnson; and step-children-Dustin, Andy and Samantha Kay Johnson. Shirlee will also be remembered by her mother, Beverley; sister, Kelly; nephew, Chance and her father and step-mother, Sam and Linda Breeden. Shirlee will also be missed by a loving mother-in-law, Ann Johnson, and father-in-law and step-mother-in-law, Dennis and Carol Johnson. She will always be in the hearts and minds of her grandparents Shirley and Donna Collins and Pansy Breeden. Many members of the Johnson, Breeden and Collins family will also remember Shirlee in special ways. Herb's boys, who were the little brothers she never had. Vance's sisters, who were always there to help and Doug's girls, who always made Shirlee feel a little more special.
There are also many special friends who will miss Shirlee dearly. Angie `Beaner' Hutsell who told her like it needed to be told; Starla Kay Smith, one of her very best friends; and Lori Norberry, who always made her look beautiful.
Shirlee was a loving person who took on many roles including mother, wife, daughter, niece, sister, cousin, friend and hairdresser. She approached all of these roles just as she did life, with a great sense of humor, the gift of gab and a joy of being alive. Shirlee leaves behind too many family members and friends to name, but she will never be forgotten. How will we forget “Pooter”? Her bell collection may be left on earth, but as she joins Our Father in Heaven her next job will be brought in with bells. Her daughter, Samantha, says that she is going to fix all of the angels' hair. That's the job Jesus has for her now. Shirlee, you'll be missed.
