Glenn Earl
Mr. Earl was born on March 10, 1931 to A.J. and Mayme B. Earl at Nesbitt, Mo. On April 15, 1950, he married
Dollie M. Rushing. They had two children, Susan Diane and Glenn Alan.
Mr. Earl served in the United States Army from January 1952 to December 1953. After that, he served eight years of Army Reserve duty. While in the Army, he served in the Korean War with the 40th Infantry Division. After his term, Mr. Earl was awarded several honors including: Korean Service Medal with three Bronze Service Stars, United Nations Medal, Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal and the Bronze Star Medal.
After serving in the Army, Mr. Earl graduated from Jonesboro Business College in 1957. Mr. Earl started his banking career by working for the FHA and PCA for 12 years. Then he worked at Senath State Bank for 20 years. During his last five years of service to Senath State Bank, he served as a very compassionate and fair Bank President. Mr. Earl retired in March 1989 and farmed for one year.
Mr. Earl was a life long member of the Senath United Methodist Church, a member of American Legion Post 303 and a member of the Hornersville Masonic Lodge 215.
Mr. Earl is survived by his wife, Dollie and two children; Susan Diane and her husband, Stanley Peace and Glenn Alan and his wife, Angela Earl, all of Senath. Also, one grandchild, April Michelle and her husband, Jimmy Aldridge, of Kennett and two great-grandchildren, Austin James and Morgan Danielle Aldridge, of Kennett and two step-grandchildren, Matthew Joseph, of Atlanta, Ga. and Heather Ann, of Springfield, Mo. Also surviving is a very special aunt, Betty Scott, of Senath and special Friend, D.W. Wilson, as well as amny other relatives and friends.
A Masonic Service was held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 30.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. today, Thursday, May 1, at the Senath United Methodist Church in Senath with the Rev. Gene West officiating.
Burial with full military rites was held at the Memorial Gardens cemetery in Kennett.
Pallbearers were Don Bost, Marty Miller, Greg Gibson, Gerald Gentry, Jr., Don Ozbun, Mitchell Rushing and Josh Gibson.
Honorary pallbearers were members of the Senath American Legion Post 303 and his Sunday School Class.

Geneva Crosson, 67, of Kennett, died today, Friday, May 2, 2003, at the Heritage Nursing Center in Kennett.

Pamela Harrison
Pamela Ellen Harrison, 42, of Malden, Mo., died Thursday, May 1, 2003, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Mo.
Born March 24, 1961, in Chicago, Ill., daughter of Patricia Peavy Moton, of Beaumont, Texas, she was of the Baptist faith.
On Feb. 14, 1991, in Piggott, Ark., she married
Jimmy Lynn Harrison, who survives of the home.
Survivors also include one son, David Valentine, of Grand Forks, N.D.; her step-father, Gary Moton, of Beaumont; two brothers, Terry and Garrett Bean, of Beaumont and one sister, Carrie Russell, of Beaumont.
She was preceded in death by one son, Raymond Vannasdall.
Visitation will begin at 6 p.m. Saturday, May 3, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home in Malden.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Sunday, May 4, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Roscoe Gray officiating.
Burial will follow at the Stanfield cemetery in Clarkton, Mo.
Christene Mitchell
Christene House Mitchell, 83, of Malden, Mo., died Wednesday, April 30, 2003, at Sikeston.
Born Dec. 23, 1919, in Bear Creek, Ala., daughter of the late Arley L. and Helen Butler Woodham, she was a member of the First Southern Baptist Church in Malden.
On Oct. 15, 1938, in Kennett, she married
Henry House, who preceded her in death on March 1, 1979. She was also preceded in death by one son, Larry House; two sisters, Pauline Pearson and Zelda Crowder and two brothers, Quintin and E.L. Woodham.
Survivors include three sons, Dale House, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., Franklin House, of Gideon, Mo. and Chuck House, of Malden; two brothers, Jimmy Woodham, of Qulin, Mo. and Ralph Woodham, of Flint, Mich.; four sisters, Odean Harper, of Jackson, Mo., Helen Davis, of Poplar Bluff, Syble Restack, of St. Louis, Mo. and Hazel Redmon, of Woodriver, Ill.; 10 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation will begin at 6 p.m. today, Friday, May 2, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home in Malden.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 3, at the Bradshaw Fiuneral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dale Rickman officiating.
Burial will follow at the Memorial Park cemetery in Malden.
Stuart Mullins
Stuart Brian Mullins, 43, of Gobler, Mo., died Monday, April 28, 2003, at his residence.
Born Oct. 331, 1959, in Caruthersville, Mo., son of the late Dan Isabell and Earline Mullins, he was a laborer and a member of the United Baptist Church in Gobler.
He married
Martha Roundtree, who survives of the home.
Survivors also include two sons, Stuart Mullins, Jr. and Justin Mullins, both of Gobler; two daughters, Lashell Roundtree, of Kennett and Tenecia Roundtree, of Gobler; one sister, Druecilla Mullins Malone and husband, Calvin, of Gobler; two brothers, Poesy Smith and wife, Georgia, of Demopolis, Ala. and Gerald Reeves and wife, Gene, of Kennett and one grandchild, Corey D. Person, Jr., of Kennett.

Allie Tate
Allie Jowers Tate, 86, died Thursday, May 1, 2003, at Gideon Care Center in Gideon, Mo.
Born Jan. 14, 1917, in Tennessee, she was a daughter of the late Agnes Mooney and Ray Jowers.
On Feb. 11, 1939, in Portageville, Mo., she married
Thomas Albert Tate who preceded her in death Sept. 7, 1974. She was also preceded in death by one son, Bobby Gene Tate.
Surviving are a step son, Chester Graham of Clarkton, Mo., a step-daughter, Mary Sebourn of Sikeston, Mo., two nieces, Peggy Turnage of Hayti, Mo. and Wanda Malony of Indianola, Miss.
Visitation will be noon to 2 p.m. today, Sunday, May 4, at the DeLisle Funeral Home Chapel in Portageville, followed by funeral services at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Mike Melton officiating.
Burial will be in the Portageville cemetery.
Elizabeth Welch
Elizabeth D. Welch, 80, of Holcomb, Mo., formerly of Ashland, Ky., died Thursday, May 1, 2003, at Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center in Kennett. Born June 23, 1922, in Harlan County, Ky., a daughter of the late Albert and Leeta Castle Bingham.
Surviving are two sisters, Quncie Finley of Carlsbad, N.M., and Wanda Blankenship and husband, Rev. Grover, of Holcomb; and two nieces, Nita Bassham of Poplar Bluff, Mo. and Carol Gillespie of Johnson City, Tenn.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Monday, May 5, at McDaniel Funeral Service in Kennett.
Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Oak Ridge cemetery in Kennett.
Borease Branum
Borease Branum, 80, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., died Saturday, May 3, 2003, at Three Rivers North Hospital in Poplar Bluff.
Born Sept. 15, 1922, in Hornersville, Mo., she was the daughter of the late Robert David and Sadie Mae Fleeman Roach.
She married
Lloyd Branum, who preceded her in death on Dec. 19, 2000. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Robert Dean and Carthel Roach and one sister, Theda Christine Stephens.
Survivors include two sons, William Howell Branum, of Spring, Texas and Lloyd Bennett Branum, of Houston, Texas; one daughter, Connie Lemons, of Poplar Bluff; one brother, Jimmy Roach, of Bloomfield, Mo.; two sisters, Jane Brodway, of Kennett and Gerline Philpot, of Malalla, Ore.; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. today, May 6, at the First Baptist Church in Poplar Bluff with the Rev. William Vail officiating.
Burial was in the Horner cemetery at Hornersville, Mo.

Helen Cox
Helen Camille Cox, 88, of Bernie, Mo., died Monday, May 5, 2003, at Missouri Southern Healthcare in Dexter, Mo.
Born Dec. 11, 1914, in Bernie, daughter of the late Sam D. and Minnie Glass Smith, she was a homemaker and a member of the Frist Baptist Church in Bernie.
On Sept. 26, 1936, in St. Louis, Mo., she married
Clarence D. Cox, who preceded her in death on Oct. 10, 1987. She was also preceded in death by one son, Dennis R. Cox and three brothers, John, Otto and Charlie Smith.
Survivors include one son, Donald D. Cox, of Ellisville, Mo.; one brother, James Smith, of Flint, Mich.; one sister, Nelda Parker, of Alabama; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. today, Tuesday, May 6, at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Bernie.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 7. Burial will follow at the Bernie cemetery.

Geneva Laverne Crosson, 67, of Kennett, died Friday, May 2, 2003, at the Heritage Nursing Home in Kennett.
Born Feb. 14, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Andy A. Hagar and Gettia Francis Whitaker.
Survivors include two sons, Richard Walker, of Calhoun, Ga. and Jewell Ray Lester, of Kennett; one daughter, Sandra Davis, of Plainfield, Ga.; two brothers, Mel Hagar, of Chicago, Ill. and Lonnie Hagar, of Kennett; one sister, Wilma Moody, of Kennett; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son, Michael Walker.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. today, Tuesday, May 6, at the First United Pentecostal Church in Kennett with the Revs. Carroll and Eric McGruder officiating.
Burial was in the Oak Ridge cemetery at Kennett.
