Buddy McClish
Buddy Glen Smith McClish, 21, of Holcomb, Mo., died Sunday, June 8, 2003, at the Elvis Presley Trauma Center in Memphis, Tenn.
Visitation will begin at 6 p.m. today, Wednesday, June 11, at the McDaniel Fuenral Home in Kennett.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, June 12, at the McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial will follow at the Memorial Gardens cemetery in Kennett.
Minnie McGuire
Minnie Catherine McGuire, 86, of Malden, Mo., died Tuesday, June 10, 2003, at the Malden Nursing Center.
Born March 21, 1917, in Hot Springs, Ark., daughter of the late David and Annie Beaton House, she was a homemaker and a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Malden.
On Jan. 17, 1964, in Malden, she married
Morris McGuire, who survives.
Survivors also include three daughters, Dorothy Morgan and husband, John, of Dexter, Mo., Jan Boyd and husband, Charles, of Arnold, Mo. and Kathy Boyle and husband, Gerlyn, of Bernie, Mo.; one son, Wayne Baker and wife, Claudia, of Malden; two sisters, Hannah Jones, of Campbell, Mo. and Maudie Benton, of Bloomfield, Mo.; two brothers, Elton House, of Marshfield, Mo. and Thomas House, of Poplar Bluff, Mo.; eight grandchildren, Judy Murphy, of Fort Worth, Texas, Cheryl Cox, of Austin, Texas, Linda Ramirez, of Katy, Texas, Richard Baker, of Hattiesburg, Miss., Mark Boyd, of St. Louis, Mo., Stacy Johnson, of Arnold, Matthew Boyd, of Hillsboro, Mo. and Joe Campbell, of Stockton, Mo. and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by three sisters, Mary Loughary, Nadine House and Lucille McElrath and two brothers, Eugene and Sidney House.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, June 12, at the Landess Funeral Home in Malden.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, June 13, at the Landess Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial will follow at the Memorial Park cemetery in Malden.
Christine Russell
Christine Russell, 80, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., formerly of Qulin, Mo., died Tuesday, June 10, 2003, at Three Rivers Healthcare-North Campus in Poplar Bluff, Mo.
Born Dec. 30, 1922, in Blytheville, Ark., daughter of the late Thomas Jefferson and Pearl James Davis, she was retired from the Shampaine Company in St. Louis, Mo. and was a member of the Lone Prairie Baptist Church.
On Sept. 2, 1939, in Caruthersville, Mo., she married
James Hurscel Russell, who preceded her in death on June 11, 1985. She was also preceded in death by one great-granddaughter, Rebecca Jean Russell.
Survivors include one son, James E. Russell and wife, Gloria Jean, of Qulin; three grandchildren, James D. Russell, of Mitchell, Neb., David Lee Russell, of Poplar Bluff and Jessica Lynn Russell, of Qulin and nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today, Wednesday, June 11, at the Landess Funeral Home in Campbell, Mo.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, June 12, at the Landess Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor David Thomas officiating. Burial will follow at the Qulin cemetery.
Louis Shinault
Louis Marvin Shinault, 77, of Steele, Mo., died Monday, June 9, 2003, at his residence.
Born June 17, 1925, in Arkansas, son of the late Louis Marvin Shinault, Sr. and Alvie Spears Shinault, he was a farm worker and a member of the Holland Baptist Church in Holland, Mo.
He married
Sybil Geraldine Channell, who survives of the home.
Survivors also include three daughters, Vernell Puckett and husband, William, Kay Frances Capps and husband, Ronald and Reba Harris and husband, Michael; four sons, Everett Shinault and wife, Vivian, Chris and Bob Shinault and Frank Shinault and wife, Christa; three sisters, Lola Webb and husband, Fred, Martha Carrol and husband, Joe and Irene Akins and husband, J.D.; two step-sons, Jerry Scott and wife, Mary Jane and Dennis Scott and wife, Martha; four step-daughters, Doris Cash and husband, Dewey, Kay Bell and husband, Steve, Terri Bell and husband, Aubry and Veneda Green and husband, Steve; 30 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Genolia; one brother, Robert and one son, Martin Shinault.
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 12, at the Bradshaw-Powell Funeral Home Chapel in Steele with the Rev. John Earl Dunavant officiating.
R.C. Smith
R.C. Smith, 85, of Kennett, died today, Wednesday, June 11, at the St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Mo.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete with the McDaniel Funeral Home of Kennett.
Robina White
Robina C. White, 86, of Kennett, died Monday, June 9, 2003, at the Baptist Nursing Home in Blytheville, Ark.
Born Nov. 2, 1916, in Newburn, Tenn., daughter of the late Allan Melvin and Ida Mae Luther Buchanan, she was a clerk in the dry goods business and a member of the Calvary Assembly of God Church in Kennett.
On Oct. 20, 1939, in Caruthersville, Mo., she married
Paul T. White, who preceded her in death.
Survivors include two sons, Donald Ray White, of Fremont, Calif. and Ronald Auther White, of Fort Worth, Texas; two sisters, Ruth Rodder, of St. Louis, Mo. and Billie Jean Caico, of St. Charles, Mo.; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. today, Wednesday, June 11, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Gary Myers officiating.
Burial was in the Oak Ridge cemetery at Kennett.
Daniel Coleman
Daniel Coleman, 80, of Manila, Ark., died Wednesday, June 11, 2003, at St. Bernard's Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro, Ark.
Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. Friday, June 13, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home in Hornersville, Mo.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, June 13, at the Horner cemetery in Hornersville with the Rev. V. Purser officiating.
Connie Duke
Connie Alvin Duke, 62, of Paragould, Ark., died Tuesday, June 10, 2003, at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center in Paragould.
Born July 10, 1940, in Senath, Mo., son of the late Raymond and Rosie Duke, he was employed at Monroe Auto Equipment and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Marmaduke, Ark. He was a former softball coach.
Survivors include his wife, Helen Duke, of Paragould; one son, Kevin Duke, of Paragould; two daughters, Donna Duke, of Cardwell, Mo. and Tonya Robinson and husband, of Paragould; three brothers, Jimmy and Edward Duke, both of Paragould and Raymond Duke, of Kennett and five grandchildren, Danny, Jeremy and Christina Duke and Tyler and Caitlin Robinson.
He was preceded in death by one grandson, Chancellor Robinson.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. today, Thursday, June 12, at the Mitchell Funeral Home in Paragould.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, June 13, at the First Baptist Church in Marmaduke with Kim Bridges officiating.
Burial will follow at the Brown's Chapel cemetery.
Pallbearers are Chris and Roland Duke and Doug Simpson.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.

Survivors also include one sister, Christina Hounihan and husband, William, of Kennett; one half-sister, Stacy McClish, of St. Louis, Mo.; one brother, Phillip Lee McClish, of Holcomb; one half-brother, Jason McClish, of St. Louis and a grandmother, Marie Ross Medley, of Kennett.
Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. today, Thursday, June 12, at the McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel in Kennett with the Rev. Dale Rickman officiating.
Burial was in the Memorial Gardens cemetery at Kennett.
Pallbearers were Sam Ross, William and Kenneth Hounihan, Varetta and Tony McClish and J.R. McDaniel.

Robert W. Rogers, 73, of Kennett, died Wednesday, June 11, 2003, at St. Bernards Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro, Ark.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. today, Thursday, June 12, at the McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, June 13, at the McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial will follow at the Oak Ridge cemetery in Kennett.
R.C. Smith
R.C. Smith, 85, of Dexter, Mo., formerly of Kennett, died Wednesday, June 11, 2003, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Mo.
Born May 29, 1918, in Henderson, Tenn., he was the son of the late John and Addie Harris Smith.
He married
Ruby Neal, who preceded him in death on Oct. 10, 1956. He later married
Renda Davis, who preceded him in death on June 28, 1996. He was also preceded in death by one son, J.C. Smith; one brother, Elmer Smith and one sister, Birthrean Rogers.
Survivors include five sons, Leroy Smith and wife, Betty, of Granite City, Ill., Marshall Smith and wife, Hency, of Clarkton, Mo., Larry Smith and wife, Janetta, of Paragould, Ark., Jerry Smith and wife, Teresa, of Potosi, Mo. and Tom Smith and wife, Judy, of Maryland Heights, Mo.; three daughters, Joyce Madison, of Mt. Vernon, Ind., Shirley Sparacino and husband, Jospeh, of Hammond, Ind. and Evie Lawton and husband, David, of St. Charles, Mo. one brother, John Smith, of Ocala, Fla.; 25 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

Daniel Coleman
Daniel Coleman, 80, of Manila, Ark., died Wednesday, June 11, 2003, at St. Bernards Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro, Ark.
Born Jan. 5, 1923, in Blytheville, Ark., son of the late Amberst and Stella Coleman, he was a U.S. Army veteran and an iron worker.
On Feb. 15, 1982, in Kennett, he married
Joy Potter, who survives of the home.
Survivors also include two sons, Bruce and Terry Coleman, both of Rockford, Ill.; four daughters, Dorothy, Pat, Mary and Glo, all of Rockford; one brother, Harold Coleman, of Iowa, La.; one sister, Nedra Hall, of Rockford, Ill. and a host of grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one son.
Graveside services were held at 2 p.m. today, June 13, at the Horner cemetery in Hornersville, Mo. with the Rev. Vernon Purser officiating.
Bradshaw-Emerson Funeral Home of Hornersville was in charge of arrangements.
