Charlie Musgraves, 95, of Kennett, died Saturday, Oct. 27, 2001, at Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center in Kennett.
Visitation will be held at 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 2, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home in Kennett.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 3, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial will follow at the Oak Ridge cemetery in Kennett.
Luedell Vance
Luedell Gill Vance, 84, of Kennett, died Sunday, Oct. 28, 2001, at National HealthCare in Kennett.
Born April 30, 1917, in Dyersburg, Tenn., daughter of the late William and Neal Love Gill, she was a beauty operator and a member of the Hornersville Baptist Church.
On Sept. 26, 1936, she married
Ulous Vance, who preceded her in death on Feb. 28, 2000.
Survivors include two sons, Jerry Vance and wife, Lois, of Midland, Mich. and Larry Vance and wife, Patsy, of Hornersville, Mo.; four grandchildren, Bruce and Jeff Vance and Melanie Coon, all of Michigan and Michael Vance, of Kennett; two step-granchildren, RaDonna Fox Weir, of Cabot, Ark. and Justin King, of Little Rock, Ark. seven great-grandchildren, Jessica Moore, Adam and Benjamin Vance, all of Kennett and Ciera and Christopher Vance and Tyler and Rachael Coon, all of Michigan and two step-great-grandchildren, Dillan Keith Fox, of Cabot and Jace Haden King, of Little Rock.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, two brothers and one grandchild, Andrea Vance Moore.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. today, Tuesday, Oct. 30, at the Trinity Community Church of Cardwell in Cardwell, Mo. with the Rev. Kevin Knox officiating.
Burial was in the Memorial Gardens cemetery at Kennett.
Bradshaw-Emerson Funeral Home of Hornersville was in charge of arrangements.
David Ivy
David Keith Ivy, 38, of Kennett, died Monday, Oct. 29, 2001, at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Mo.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. today, Wednesday, Oct. 31, at the McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 1, at the McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel with Revs. Don Emery and Dale Rickman officiating.
Burial will follow at the Oak Ridge cemetery in Kennett.
Mary Killingsworth
Mary Killingsworth, 86, of Kennett. died Monday, Oct. 29, 2001, at Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center in Kennett.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today, Wednesday, Oct. 31, at the McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 1, at the Memorial Gardens cemetery in Kennett with the Rev. Gary Gelsinger officiating.
Vina Williams
Vina Marie Edmonston Williams, 88, died peacefully in her sleep early Monday, Oct. 29, 2001, at Carrington Place in Matthews, N.C.
Mrs. Williams was born Jan. 12, 1913, in Beedeville, Ark., to Arthur Neel Edmonton and Gertrude Elizabeth Jones Edmonston. In 1932, she married
Carl Edwin Williams of Hornersville, Mo. They operated a small grocery store and gas station in Rives, Mo. Their son, Edwin Neel Williams was born there in 1942. After Mr. Williams served in the Navy in World War II, the family settled in Hornersville, where they owned and operated a grocery store and ice house until Mr. Williams sudden death at age 52 in 1961. Mrs. Williams continued to operate the store for a few years, then sold it and became librarian in the county library branch in Hornersville.
She moved to Charlotte, N.C., in 1993 and lived with her son's family before moving to Carrington Place in 1994.
She was a strong and caring woman, an avid reader, a good wife and mother and a dependable friend. She had a ready smile and a good sense of humor. Whatever hand life dealt her, she played it with wit and cheerful resolve.
She leaves a son and daughter-in-law, Ed and Marilyn Lentine Williams of Charlotte; a grandson, Jonathan Lentine Williams, a student at Princeton University; a brother, William P. Edmonston of Schertz, Texas; and two sisters, Alfreida Kennedy of Willard, Mo., and Lucille York of Campbell, Mo. She was preceded in death by a brother, Marvin Edmonston, and two sisters, Viola Ray and Mildred Lewis.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Bradshaw-Emerson Funeral Home in Hornersville. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Hornersville Baptist Church, where she was a faithful member for many years. Rev. Doug Clinton will be officiating. Burial will be in the Horner cemetery.
Pallbearers are Bud Forsythe, Joe Hemingway, Max Ray Moore, Buddy Branum, David Don Pierce and Donald Lee Hart.

Minnie Allen
Minnie Allen, 89, of Kennett, died Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2002, at National Health Care in Kennett.
Born March 23, 1912, in Steele, Mo., daughter of the late George and Nancy Gann Jackson, she was a homemaker and a member of the Shady Grove Baptist Church in Kennett.
On Nov. 16, 1925, in Lake City, Ark., she married
Elbert E. Allen, who preceded her in death on April 16, 1994. She was also preceded in death by one son, Jack Allen.
Survivors include three sons, Dallas Allen, of Kennett, George Wayne Allen, of Tupelo, Miss. and Larry Allen, of Poplar Bluff, Mo.; two daughters, Polly Nolin, of Steele and Zella May Grady, of Poplar Bluff; 13 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren and 15 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will begin at 6 p.m. today, Friday, Feb. 1, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home in Kennett.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 2 at the Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. James Lewis and A.C. Gardner officiating.

Javauta Autry, 65, of St. Charles, Mo., died today, Friday, Feb. 1, 2002, at her residence.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 2, at the McDaniel Funeral Home in Senath, Mo.

Maggie Butler, 101, of Wardell, Mo., died Sunday, Jan. 27, 2002, at National Health Care in Kennett.
Born Sept. 6, 1900, in Enid, Miss., daughter of the late Benjamin and Maggie Moore Roberson, she was a homemaker and a member of the St. John Baptist Church in Pascola, Mo.
In 1918, she married
Joseph Butler, who preceded her in death. Survivors include two sons, Earmon Butler and wife, Earnestine, of Chicago, Ill. and Darmon Butler and wife, Lula Pearl, of Michigan City, Ind.; daughter-in-law, Ruthie Mae Butler, of Wardell; grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Ruthie Mae Malone, Keith, Kenneth and Kimberly Butler, all of Chicago, Oscar Lee Harris, Sr., Oscar Harris, Jr. and Shari Harris, all of Kokomo, Ind., Geraldine and Darryl Ellis, Elvy and Tanya McGaughy, Elantra and Squeaky, all of Wardell, Brenda, Ruthie Jean and Regina, Jacqueline Malone, Eagan, Minnesota, Walter, Jr., Anthony and Christopher Malone, all of Chicago, Charles and Honey of Columbia, Mo., Johnny Ray and Rsoezetta, of Elkhart, Ind., Darmon Butler, Jr., of Michigan City, Tony of the Armed Forces, Billy, Faye and Phyllis, all of Hayti, Mo. and a host of great-great-grandchildren.

Elizabeth Blair Pankey, 84, of Springfield, Mo., formerly of Kennett, died Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2002, at the St. John Hospital in Springfield.
Born Aug. 6, 1917, in Kennett, daughter of the late Rayburn and Lillian Robb Pankey, she worked for Frisco Railroad as business manager, was a member of PEO of Springfield and and a member of the Westminister Presbyterian Church in Springfield.
Survivors include cousins, Mrs. Maxwell Williams, of Gideon, Mo., Harriett Williams Ewing, of Malden, Mo., Brent Ewing, of Kansas City, Mo., David Overton Ewing, of St. Charles, Mo., Alex Ewing, of St. Louis, Mo., Everett, Leah, Matthew and Will Mobley, all of Kennett and Jo Mobley Ferguson, of Newark, Del.; special friend, Betty Hazeltine, of Springfield and other relations, the Ballwin and Donaldson families in Kennett.
Graveside services were held at 3 p.m. today, Friday, Feb. 1, at the Oak Ridge cemetery with the Rev. Robert Phillips officiating.

Flora Ice
Flora Elizabeth Ice, 87, of Poplar Bluff, died Thursday, Jan. 31, 2002, in Pacific, Mo.
Born Nov. 24, 1914, at White Oak, Mo., daughter of the late William Edward and Martha Alice Williams Smith, she was a retired florist and member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church at Poplar Bluff.
On March 4, 1931, in Kennett, she married
Jesse C. Ice, who preceded her in death May 17, 1991.
She was also preceded in death by two sister, Bertha Ice and Evelyn Flatt and a brother, James Ed Smith.
Survivors include three daughters, Verba Champ and her husband, James, of Collegedale, Tenn., Jesslyn Johnson and her husband, Ed, of Murfreesboro, Tenn. and Melba Jean Bennett and husband, Bob, of Pacific; one sister, Vernette Durbin of Poplar Bluff; nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 3, in the Landess Funeral Home Chapel in Campbell, Mo., with Pastor Glenn Marshall officiating.
Burial will follow in the Woodlawn cemetery at Campbell.
Dora Acup
Dora Mae Acup, 86, of Malden, Mo., died Saturday, Feb. 2, 2002, at Three Rivers Healthcare North in Poplar Bluff, Mo.
Born Oct. 13, 1915, in Halliday, Ark., daughter of the late Charley Marion and Lizza Pearl Steele Carrel, she was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Malden.
On Dec. 25, 1933, in Gideon, Mo., she married
Charley Leroy Acup, who preceded her in death on April 5, 1987. She was also preceded in death by one son, Charles Acup; three brothers, Marion and Willie Carrel and an infant brother and three sisters, Rosie Kegley, and Edna and Gracie Carrel.
Survivors include one son, Freddie Acup, of Malden; four daughters, Frances McCoin, of Malden, Pearlie Williams, of Dexter, Mo., Shirley Moore, of Carrizo Springs, Texas and Rosemary Cowan, of Cape Girardeau, Mo.; 18 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
