Gary Crader

Gary L. Crader, 50, of Kennett, died Monday, Jan. 13, 2003, at his residence.

Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 16, at the McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 17, at the McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel with Charles James officaiting.

Burial will follow at the Crader cemetery in Marble Hill, Mo. Melinda Franks

Melinda Ann Franks, 43, of Wardell, Mo., died Tuesday, Jan. 14, 2003, at the Heritage Nursing Home in Kennett.

Funeral arrangements are incomplete with the Bradshaw-Osburn Funeral Home of Wardell.

John Glidwell

John Ellis Glidwell, 80, of Arbyrd, Mo., died Sunday, Dec. 22, 2002, at his residence.

Born Nov. 27, 1922, in Graves County, Ky., he was the son of Viola Wray Glidwell and the late Mack Glidwell.

On May 27, 1942, he married Lavetta Lewis, who preceded him in death on March 3, 1996.

Survivors include his mother, Viola Glidwell, of Bolivar, Mo.; two sons, John Glidwell, Jr., of Lilbourn, Mo. and Danny Ray Glidwell, of Arbyrd; one daughter, Linda Kay Atchley, of Arbyrd; two brothers, Robert Glidwell, of Bolivar and Kenneth Glidwell, of Texas; one sister, Hiawath Johns, of St. Louis, Mo.; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Graveside services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 26, 2002, at the Lulu cemetery in Senath, Mo.

McDaniel Funeral Home of Arbyrd was in charge of arrangements.

Gary Lott

Gary W. Lott, 51, of Doniphan, Mo., died Monday, Jan., 13, 2003, at his residence.

Born Aug. 3, 1951, in Poplar Bluff, Mo., son of Anna L. Hefner Lott, of Fairdealing, Mo. and the late Leo George Lott, he was retired from General Motors.

On June 10, 1972, in Flint, Mich., he married Dawn L. Foster, who survives of the home.

Survivors also include one son, Michael Lott, of Flint; one daughter, Heather L. Lott, of Flint; one granddaughter, Madison Joann Lott, of Flint; one sister, Rhonda Layman, of Davison, Mich. and his grandmothers, Alta Strickland, of Qulin, Mo. and Medrith Hefner, of Campbell, Mo.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. today, Wednesday, Jan. 15, at the Landess Funeral Home of Campbell.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 16, at the Landess Funeral Home Chapel.

Burial will follow at the Memorial Park cemetery in Malden, Mo.

Larry McNabb

Larry McNabb, 58, of Kennett, died Monday, Jan. 13, 2003, at his residence.

Born July 5, 1944, in Bragg City, Mo., he was the son of the late Paris and Pearl Cooper McNabb.

On Dec. 9, 2002, in Kennett, he married Ruth Burgess, who survives of the home.

Survivors also include two sons Greg McNabb, of Holcomb and Jerry Lee Lewis, of Dallas, Texas; four daughters, Stephanie, Carrie and Laura McNabb, all of Lakeland, Fla. and Dana Lewis, of Kennett; four brothers, Paris Wayne and Jack McNabb, both of Kennett, Robert McNabb, of Fenton, Mo. and Gary McNabb, of Hillsboro, Mo.; four sisters, Dorothy Bryant and Una Taormina, both of St. Louis, Mo., Betty Kirby, of Sarasota, Fla. and Patricia Cranford, of Georgia and several grandchildren.

Graveside services were held at 2 p.m. today, Wednesday, Jan. 15, at the Oak Ridge cemetery in Kennett with Sonny Burgess officiating.

Pallbearers were Lonnie Burgess, James Tabor, Gary Warellow, Gene Woods, Benny Smith and Robert Wilson.

Memorials may be made to the Delta Childrens Home.

Lorene Ratliff, 88, of Los Angeles, Calif., formerly of Malden, Mo., died Sunday, Jan. 12, 2003, at UCLA Medical Center in Santa Monica, Calif.

Funeral arrangements are incomplete with the Landess Funeral Home of Malden.

Leigh Tansil

Leigh Anne Tansil, 32, of Senath, Mo. died Monday, Jan. 13, 2003, at St. Bernards Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro, Ark.

Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. today, Wednesday, Jan. 15, at the McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 16, at the McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Albert Camp and Don Vuncannon officiating.

Burial will follow at the Lulu cemetery in Senath.

Thelma Branum

Thelma Banum, 85, of Kennett, died Monday, Jan. 13, 2003, at National Health Care in Kennett.

Born March 20, 1917, in Hornersville, Mo., she was the daughter of the late Arthur Andrew and Lonnie Bell Branum Wilmoth.

On Sept. 18, 1938, she married William Hasting Branum, who preceded her in death on Jan. 14, 2001. She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Sheila Clark and one brother, Curtis Wilmoth.

Survivors include two sons, Ron Branum, of Arbyrd, Mo. and Bill Branum, of Kennett; seven grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. today, Thursday, Jan. 16, at the Hollywood Church of Christ in Hollywood, Mo. with Spencer Furby officiating.

Burial was in the Lulu cemetery at Senath, Mo.

Pallbearers were grandsons.

McDaniel Funeral Home of Arbyrd, Mo. was in charge of arrangements.

Joyce Collier

Joyce Collier, 53, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., formerly of Kennett, died Tuesday, Jan. 14, 2003, at Three Rivers North Medical Center in Poplar Bluff.

Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today, Thursday, Jan. 16, at the McDaniel Fiuneral Home in Kennett.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 17, at the McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel.

Burial will follow at the Oak Ridge cemetery in Kennett.

Melinda Franks

Melinda Ann Franks, 43, of Wardell, Mo., died Tuesday, Jan. 14, 2003, at the Heritage Nursing Home in Kennett.

Born June 17, 1959, in Portageville, Mo., daughter of Helen Elrod Glass, of Wardell and the late Lonnie Willis Glass, Jr., she had worked at Plastene Corp. and was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include two daughters, Lisa Tanner and Lana Franks, both of Wardell; three brothers, Bobby Bennett, of Portageville, Willis Glass, III, of Bragg City, Mo. and Danny Glass, of Wardell; one sister, Barbara Butler, of Bragg City; a special friend, Matt Rudd, of Wardell and four grandchildren, Madison Watkins, Charley and Christine Tanner and Maverick Glass, all of Wardell.

She was preceded in death by one son, Larry Franks.

Visitation will begin at 6 p.m. today, Thursday, Jan. 16, at the Bradshaw-Osburn Funeral Home in Wardell.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 17, at the First Baptist Church in Bragg City with the Revs. Dale Rickman and Griff Walker officiating.

Burial will follow at the Portageville cemetery.

Hester Holland

Hester Marine Holland, 75, of Steele, Mo., died Monday, Jan. 13, 2003, at the Pemiscot Memorial Health Systems in Hayti, Mo.

Born Dec. 28, 1927, in Hardin County, Tenn., she was the daughter of the late John A. and Mallie Montgomery Holland.

Survivors include one sister, Geneva Parrott and husband, Joe, of Steele; several nieces and nephews and other relatives.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 15, at the H.S. Smith Funeral Home in Caruthersville, Mo. with the Rev. Matt Corkran officiating.

Burial was in the Maple cemetery.

Pallbearers were Earl F. Funderburk, Larry Parrott, Dennis and Bob Holland, Charles Garrard and P.G. Maners.

Lorene Ratliff

Lorene Ratliff, 88, of Los Angeles, Calif., formerly of Malden, Mo., died Sunday, Jan. 12, 2003, at UCLA Medical Center in Santa Monica, Calif.

Born April 8, 1914, in Butler County, Mo., daughter of the late George Henry and Amanda Graham Davis, she was a homemaker and a former member of the First Assembly of God Church in Malden.

On May 2, 1936, in Malden, she married Robert M. Ratliff, who preceded her in death on June 11, 1975.

Survivors include two daughters, Doris Tatlow, of Los Angeles and Betty Hill, of St. Louis, Mo.; two sons, Bill Ratliff and John Walker, both of St. Louis; two sisters, Velma Helton, of Malden and Edith Conran, of Flint, Mich.; 10 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Jan. 18, at the Landess Funeral Home in Malden.

Funeral services will be held at noon Saturday, Jan. 18,. at the Landess Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dick Murray officiating.

Burial will follow at the Memorial Park cemetery in Malden.

Leigh Tansil

Leigh Anne Tansil, 32, of Senath, Mo., died Monday, Jan. 13, 2003, at St. Bernards Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro, Ark.

Born Sept. 7, 1970, in Hayti, Mo., she was the daughter of J.E. and Myrtie L. Raines Crews, of Rives, Mo.

She married Byron Tansil, who survives of the home.

Survivors also include two sons, Jason and Jon; one daughter, Sarah and two brothers, Bobby Crews, of Jonesboro and Ricky Persinger, of Moline, Ill.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. today, Thursday, Jan. 16, at the McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel in Kennett with the Revs. Albert Camp and Don Vuncannon officiating.

Burial was in the Lulu cemetery at Senath.
