Barbara J. Long, 51, of Paragould, Ark., died Tuesday, Aug. 6, 2002, at National HealthCare in Kennett.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 8, at the McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 9, at the McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Lee Weeks officiating.
Glen Dalton
Glen Ray Dalton, 63, of Senath, Mo., died Sunday, Aug. 4, 2002, at Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center in Kennett.
Born March 12, 1939, in Senath, son of the late Hiram and Lorene Whitlock Dalton, he was a U.S. Army veteran and a member of the Lulu Baptist Church in Senath.
On July 1, 1962, in Bucoda, Mo., he married
Shirley J. Wickerham, who survives of the home.
Survivors also include one son, Dennis Dalton and wife, Teresa, of Greenway, Ark.; one daughter, Beverly Mabry and husband, Lance, of Senath; two sisters, Patricia Sladek and husband, Dan, of St. Louis, Mo. and Sharon Sladek and husband, Don, of Winfield, Mo.; one granddaughter, Jessica Howlett, of Senath and five grandsons, Brandon Dalton, of Kennett, Brett and Kyle Mabry, both of Senath and Adam and Aaron Morris, both of Greenway.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 7, at the McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel in Senath with the Revs. Albert Camp and Troy Alley officiating.
Burial was in the LuLu cemetery.
Pallbearers were Ron Parsons, Adam Morris, Lance Mabry, Nathan Vaughn, Jessica Howlett and Mike Shannon.
Honorary pallbearers were Aaron Morris, Wyman Pierce and Lloyd Lell. Darrell Grogan
Darrell H. Grogan, 84, of Winter Haven, Fla., formerly of Kennett, died Aug. 4, 2002.
Born Nov. 25, 1917, in Clay County, Ark., he was a U.S. Navy veteran serving in WWII and a retired insurance agent.
He married
Helen Prewitt, who survives of the home.
Survivors also include one daughter, Patricia Grogan, of Lakeland, Fla.; one grandson, Dr. Timothy P. Pearman, of New Orleans, La.; one niece, Ruthanne Grogan-Anderson, of Lynden, Wash. and one nephew, Terry Grogan, of Roslyn, Wash.
Memorials may be made to the Good Shepherd Hospice, 105 Arneson Ave., Auburndale, Fla. 33823.
Lois Revelle
Lois Johnson Revelle, 81, of Senath, Mo., died Monday, Aug. 5, 2002, at the Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro, Ark.
Born Oct. 22, 1920, in Senath, she was the daughter of the late Birley Rufus and Ethyl Emery Wilson.
She married
William Thomas Johnson, who preceded her in death in 1982 and later married
Raymond Revelle, who preceded her in death in 1997. She was also preceded in death by one step-son, Ray Allen Revelle and one brother, Ira Wilson.
Survivors include one son, R.D. Johnson and wife, Nancy, of Forth Worth, Texas; one granddaughter, Desiree Young; one step-son, Larry Revelle, of Cutler, Ill.; one step-daughter, Arlene Huddleston, of Moscow, Tenn.; two step-granddaughters, Amanda and Amber Huddleston and two brothers, Floyd Wilson, of Cooter, Mo. and Raymond Wilson, of Fredericktown, Mo.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. today, Thursday, Aug. 8, at the McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel in Senath with the Rev. Lavone Smart officiating.
Burial was in the Memorial Gardens cemetery at Kennett.
Pallbearers were Lonnie Gibson, Jr., Tony Morgan, Bob Hughes, John Huddleston, Tommy Harris and Virgle Blancett.
James Campbell, Sr.
James M. Campbell, Sr., 61, of Ocean Springs, Miss., died Sunday, Aug. 4, 2002, in Winona, Miss.
Son of Jettivee Crawford Campbell, of Kennett and the late Malvin Campbell, he was U.S. Navy veteran and worked for Ingalls Shipbuilding as Chief Electrical Engineer. He was of the Baptist faith.
He married
Virginia Lynn Pyle, who preceded him in death.
Survivors include one daughter, Kristi Campbell, of Sturgeon Bay, Wis.; one son, James M. Campbell, Jr., of Ocean Springs; three sisters, Janet E. Baker, of Kennett, Judith Ann Austil, of Scott City, Mo. and Joan Kay McCoy, of Cabool, Mo.; four brothers, Donald W. Campbell, of St. Louis, Mo., Connie Ray Campbell, of Grapevine, Texas, Clois Clinton Campbell, of Kansas City, Mo. and Ronald G. Campbell, of Tulsa, Okla. and three grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 11, at the Ocean Springs Chapel.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, Aug. 12, at the Ocean Springs Chapel.
Burial will follow at the Biloxi National cemetery.

Hershel Cook, 79, of St. Peters, Mo., formerly of Malden, Mo., died today, Friday, Aug. 9, 2002, at the Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Peters.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete with the Bradshaw Funeral Home of Malden.
Ora Heugel
Ora Heugel, 72, of Kennett, died Thursday, Aug. 8, 2002, at St. Bernards Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro, Ark.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 10, at the McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 11, at the McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dale Rickman officiating.
Burial will follow at the Lulu cemetery in Senath, Mo.

Barbara J. "Tootie" Long, 51, of Paragould, Ark., died Tuesday, Aug. 6, 2002, at National HealthCare in Kennett.
Born Feb. 2, 1951, in Deering, Mo., she was the daughter of the late John Ivan long and Veta Abernathy.
Survivors include two sons, Scotty Dewayne Burns, of Kennett and Billy Joe Jordan, of St. Louis, Mo.; five brothers, Bobby Long and Johnny Long, both of Aberdeen, Miss., Lindell and Ronnie Long, both of Dyersburg, Tenn. and Jeff Long, of Paragould; two sisters, Patricia Lowe and Debra Yates, both of Kennett; two grandchildren, Matthew and Brittany Bowman and one great-grandchild, Matthew Scott Bowman.
She was preceded in death by four brothers, David, Jackie, J.D. and Jerry Long.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. today, Friday, Aug. 9, at the McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel in Kennett with the Rev. Lee Weeks officiating.
N. LaVisa Mullen
N. LaVisa Mullen , 72, of St. Louis, Mo., formerly of Kennett, died Tuesday, Aug. 6, 2002, in St. Louis.
Born June 30, 1930, in Kennett, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Audra Jones.
She married
William E. Mullen, who preceded her in death.
Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 10, at the Liberty cemetery in Caruth, Mo. with the Rev. Jim Lewis officiating.
McDaniel Funeral Home of Kennett is in charge of arrangements.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
Chester Branum
Chester B. Branum, 78, of Dexter, Mo. died on Friday, Aug. 9, 2002 at the Beverly Health and Rehabilitation Center in Dexter.
Born in Hornersville, Mo. on May 26, 1924 he was a member of the Sugar Tree General Baptist Church, a former custodian at the Dexter High School and a veteran of the United States Navy serving in World War II.
On May 1, 1988 he married
Thelma Menley McNeeley, who survives of the home.
Survivors also include two sons, Jerry Branum and Deryl Branum, both of Dexter; two step-daughters; two brothers, Charles and Tommy Branum, both of Kennett; three grandchildren and four step-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, Lee, Milt and Willie Branum; and by two sisters, Beryl Holmes and Nellie Hanners.
Visitation services will be at the Rainey Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 11.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, Aug. 12 at the Rainey Mathis Funeral Home Chapel in Dexter with the Rev. Joe Ogelvie and Rev. Everett Hessling officiating.
Burial will follow in the Dexter cemetery.
Hershel Cook
Hershel Leon Cook, 79, of St. Peters, Mo., formerly of Malden, Mo. died Friday, Aug. 9, 2002 at the Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Peters.
Born September 3, 1922 in Bear Creek, Ala. to the late Harvey Clarence and Dessie Flora Howell Cook, he was an U.S. Army veteran serving during World War II and attended the West Side General Baptist Church in St. Ann, Mo.
On December 22, 1945 he married
Martha Warth in Piggott, Ark. who survives of the home.
Other survivors include one son, Harold Cook and wife, Susan, of Madison, Ala.; one daughter, Karen McCartney and husband, Gary, of St. Peters; one brother, H.C. Cook of Malden; one sister, Doris Shaw of Melbourne, Fla.; three grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 11 at the Bradshaw Funeral Home in Malden.

Ora Heugel
Ora Heugel, 72, of Kennett, died Thursday, Aug. 8, 2002 at St. Bernards Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro, Ark.
Born in Tennessee on Aug. 14, 1929 to the late Mose and Ermer Johnson Jackson. She married
Harry Heugel, who preceded her in death.
She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Carrol and James Jackson; and three sisters, Lucille Ratliff, Francis Webber and Ellen Brown.
Survivors include several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 11 at McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel in Kennett with Rev. Dale Rickman officiating.
Burial will be at the Lulu cemetery in Senath.
