James Wafford
James Daniel Wafford, infant son of Mindy Barron and James Wafford, of Holcomb, Mo., died Sunday, Aug. 25, 2002, at Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center in Kennett.
Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. today, Tuesday, Aug. 26, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel in Kennett.
Burial was in the Oak Ridge cemetery at Kennett.
Frank Washington
Frank Washington, 61, of Marston, Mo., died Friday, Aug. 23, 2002, at John J. Pershing VA Hospital in Poplar Bluff, Mo.
Visitation will be from noon to 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 31, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home in Malden, Mo.
Funeral arrangements will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 31, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial will follow at the Macedonia cemetery in Malden.
Wylmo Bradshaw
Wylmo Ruby Tinnin Bradshaw, 83, of Hornersville, Mo., died Tuesday, Aug. 27, 2002, at Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center in Kennett.
Visitation will begin at 7 p.m. today, Wednesday, Aug. 28, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home in Kennett.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 29, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Mike Hargraves officiating.
Burial will follow at the Memorial Gardens cemetery in Kennett.
The family suggests memorials be made to the First United Methodist Church in Hornersville.
James Hutcheson
James Robert "Jim" Hutcheson, 62, of Springfield, Mo., died Sunday, Aug. 25, 2002, in Poplar Bluff, Mo.
Born June 17, 1940, in Bolivar, Mo., son of the late Robert Lyle and Clara Elizabeth "Betty" Hutcheson, he was a U.S. Army veteran, in the Army Reserve, and was in the retail building supply business. He was active in the Ozark Empire Fair in Springfield, the Mid-American Lumberman Association, the Ozark Booster Club, a former member of the Ozark Rotary Club and a charter member of the Ozark Jaycees.
On June 28, 1963, he married
Carole Ann Vincent, who survives of the home.
Survivors also include one daughter, Holly Ann Combs and husband, Paul T., of Kennett ;two grandchildren, Meredith Ann and Hayden Paul Combs, both of Kennett; two sisters, Jean Raney, of Bolivar and Debra Brick, of Chillicothe, Mo. and three brothers, David Hutcheson, of Boone, N.C., Ron Hutcheson, of Republic, Mo. and Dan Hutcheson, of Honolulu, Hawaii.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. today, Wednesday, Aug. 28, at the Butler Funeral Home Chapel in Bolivar with the Rev. Dan Adkison officiating.
Burial will full military honors was held in the Greenwood cemetery in Bolivar.
Pallbearers were David, Dan and Ron Hutcheson, David Vincent, Jim Raney and Roger Brick.
Lilly Kenner
Lilly Fay Kenner, 96, of White Oak, Mo., died Monday, Aug. 26, 2002, at Holcomb, Mo.
Born Dec. 5, 1905, in Maynard, Ark., daughter of the late John Wesley Spikes and Elanor (Sago) Kenner, she was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ in Holcomb.
She married
Claud Kenner, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by one son, Rip Kenner and one granddaughter, Mona Wilhite Hilfiker.
Survivors include two daughters, Mable Wilhite and Sue Mashburn, both of Holcomb; one son, Tommy Kenner, of Holcomb; one daughter-in-law, Mary Kenner, of Kennett; two granddaughters, Rhonda Kenner, of Kennett and Bethany Mashburn, of Holcomb; two grandsons, Blane Wilhite, of Piggott, Ark. and Mark Kenner, of White Oak, Mo. and one great-grandson, Hamilton Hilfiker.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. today, Wednesday, Aug. 28, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel in Kennett with Charles Crawford officiating.
Burial was in the Brockett cemetery at Pocahontas, Ark.
Georgia Smith
Georgia Aline Smith, 68, of Kennett, died Sunday, Aug. 25, 2002, at National HealthCare in Kennett.
Born Feb. 1, 1934, in Success, Ark., she was the daughter of the late Albert Lindsey and Annie Cirus Kelley.
She married
Jim Edgar Flood, who preceded her in death and she later married
Snip Smith, who also preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by one infant son; one daughter, Ruth Ann Flood; three grandsons; five sisters, Lil Barks, Annie Mae Summers, Helen Tansil, Blanche McClish and Pearl Jaco and one brother, Wallace Kelley.
Survivors include two sons, Jessie Flood, of Marmaduke, Ark. and Homer Flood, of Kennett; four daughters, Sherry Flood, of Jonesboro, Ark. and Mary Mann, Martha Walker and Janet Guined, all of Kennett; three brothers, Richard, Homer and Clayton Kelley, all of Senath, Mo.; one sister, Christine Mabrey, of Senath; 23 grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. today, Wednesday, Aug. 28, at the McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel in Senath with the Rev. Floyd Ryles officiating.
Burial was in the Senath cemetery.
Pallbearers were Jessie, Stephen, Homer and Anthony Flood, Jim Fain, Joe Barton and Gerald Brewer.
Wylmo Bradshaw
Wylmo Ruby Tinnin Bradshaw, 83, of Hornersville, Mo., died Tuesday, Aug. 27, 2002, at Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center in Kennett.
Born June 12, 1919, in Missouri, daughter of the late Lewis Clark and Martha L. Brooks Hinesly, she was a nurse, a member of the First United MethodistChurch in Hornersville and Order of the Eastern Star, Hornersville Chapter No. 523.
On Feb. 12, 1938, in Piggott, Ark., she married
Clyde Tinnin, who preceded her in death on April 18, 1965. She later married
Jack Bradshaw on Oct. 25, 1983, in Hornersville. He preceded her in death on Jan. 18, 1994. She was also preceded in death by one grandchild.
Survivors include four daughters, Donna Frey and husband, Paul, of Buffalo, Mo., Sharron Wilkison and husband, Larry, of Rockvale, Tenn., Clydette Crawford and husband, Tony, of Kennett and Martha Jackson, of Kennett; 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. today, Thursday, Aug. 29, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home in Kennett with the Rev. Mike Hargraves officiating.
Burial was in the Memorial Gardens cemetery at Kennett.
Memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church in Hornersville.
Sadie Chappell
Sadie A. Chappell, 86, of Washington, Mo., formerly of Wardell, Mo., died Wednesday, Aug. 28, 2002, at her residence.
Born July 15, 1916, in Big Lake, Ark., daughter of the late Fred and Lena Ezell Wyatt, she was a homemaker.
On May 28, 1935, in Bokerton, Mo., she married
Turner Redman, who preceded her in death on Sept. 22, 1964. She later married
L.C. Chappell, on Nov. 10, 1991 and he preceded her in death on June 30, 1999. She was also preceded in death by one son, John Redman and two brothers, Troy and T.R. Wyatt.
Survivors include one son, Jimmy Redman, of Texas; three daughters, Martha Dilks, of Wright City, Mo., Rosa Keele, of Overland, Mo. and Phyllis Winland, of Wappapello, Mo.; two brothers, O.V. Wyatt, of Wappapello and Fred Wyatt, Jr., of Louisiana; 12 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. today, Friday, Aug. 30, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel in Wardell with Kenneth Keele officiating.
Burial was in the Memorial cemetery at Wardell.
Ida Johnson
Ida Ozella Johnson, 76, of Bernie, Mo., died Thursday, Aug. 29, 2002, at Missouri Southern Healthcare in Dexter, Mo.
Born Oct. 25, 1925, in Black Oak, Ark., daughter of the late Lonnie T. and Janie Vanhosser Hampton, she worked at Brown Shoe Company and was a member of the Northside General Baptist Church in Bernie.
In Feb. 1, 1947, in Weona, Ark., she married
James A. Johnson, who survives of the home.
Survivors also include one son, Jim Johnson and wife, Rhonda, of Dexter; one brother, Ira Hampton, of Clarkton, Mo. and two granddaughters, Misty S. and Sarah Marie Johnson, both of Dexter.
She was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. today, Friday, Aug. 30, at the Rainey-Mathes Funeral Home in Bernie.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 31, at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. O.H. Brooks and Tim Ingles officiating.
Burial will follow at the Bernie cemetery.
Larry Jones
Larry Jones, 61, of Cardwell, Mo., died Thursday, Aug. 29, 2002, at St. Bernards Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro, Ark.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete with the McDaniel Funeral Home of Arbyrd.
Patrick Tyler
Patrick Tyler, 32, of Jacksonville, Ark., died Thursday, Aug. 29, 2002, at the Jacksonville Hospital.
He was the son of Gaylon and Betty Tyler, of Jacksonville and the nephew of Mary Kitchens, of Senath.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. today, Friday, Aug. 30, at the Moore Funeral Home in Jacksonville.
Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 31, at the Moore Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial will follow at the Jacksonville cemetery.
W.A. Gilpin
W.A. Gilpin, 77, of Holcomb, Mo., died today, Thursday, Aug. 29, 2002, at St. Bernards Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro, Ark.

Frank Washington
Frank George Washington, 61, of Marston, Mo., died Friday, Aug. 23, 2002, at the John J. Pershing VA Hospital in Poplar Bluff, Mo.
Born Dec. 12, 1940, in Marston, son of the late George and Maynetta Robinson Washington, he was U.S. Army veteran, serving in Vietnam and attended the Church of God in Christ in Malden. He was employed by the New Madrid County Highway Department.
On Oct. 14, 1970, in New Madrid County, he married
W. Beatrice Higgs, who survives of the home.
Survivors also include four sisters, Martha Lockridge and husband, Leroy, of Carbondale, Ill., Mae Rogers, of Fresno, Calif., Bertha Jones, of Chicago, Ill. and Dorthy McKinely, of Iowa City, Iowa and one brother, Booker T. Washington and wife, Lovie, of Benton Harbor, Mich.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Lula Sanders and five brothers, Leonard, John, Lawrence, Willie and Joseph Washington.
Visitation will be from noon to 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 31, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home in Malden.
