Garland White, 73, of Kennett, died Thursday, Nov. 6, 2003, at the Conway Regional Medical Center in Conway, Ark.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 8, at the McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 9, at the McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dale Rickman officiating.
Burial will follow at the Oak Ridge cemetery in Kennett.
Ida Moss

Ida Mae Moss, 80, of West Hermondale, Mo., died Sunday, Nov. 2, 2003, at her residence.
Born in Bartlett, Tenn., she was a member of the Pleasant Grove Methodist Church.
Survivors include one daughter, Judy Maxine Clark and husband, Sammy, of Lansing, Mich.; one son, Edgar Charles Moss and wife, Catherine, of Steele, Mo.; three sisters, Lettie Walker, of Memphis, Tenn., Albeta Oliver and Willie Mae Dunn, both of Hermondale; two brothers, Theordore Moss and wife, Dorothy and Henry Moss, all of Gary, Ind.; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. today, Friday, Nov. 7, at the McDonald-Horne Funeral Home in Blytheville, Ark.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 8, at the Carter Temple C.M.E. Church in Blytheville with the Rev. R.W. Raines officiating.
Burial will follow at the Oak Grove cemetery in Holland, Mo.

Doyle Jordan, 80, of Corinth, Miss., formerly of Wardell, Mo., died Wednesday, Nov. 5, 2003, at Corinth.
Visitation will begin at 6 p.m. today, Friday, Nov. 7, at the Bradshaw-Osburn Funeral Home in Wardell.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 8, at the Baptist Church in Wardell with the Rev. Griff Walker officiating.
Burial will follow at the Little Prairie cemetery in Caruthersville, Mo.
Veda Chilcutt

Veda Pearl Chilcutt, 83, of Rector, Ark., died Wednesday, Nov. 5, 2003, at Rector Health Care.
Born March 10, 1920, in Boydsville, Ark., daughter of the late Benjamin and Lula Chilcutt, she was a housekeeper and of the Church of Christ faith.
Survivors include several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. today, Friday, Nov. 7, at the Mitchell Funeral Home Chapel in Rector with Gary Clayton officiating.
Burial was in the Woodland Heights cemetery at Rector.
Pallbearers were Jerry Chilcutt, Marvin and Alan Milburn, Don Parmenter, J.C. Clayton and Harold Hurt.

Garland White, 73, of Kennett, died Thursday, Nov. 6, 2003, at Conway Regional Medical Center, Conway, Ark.
Born May 11, 1930, he was a son of the late Millard Boyd and Obie Mae Dugger White.
On June 15, 1990, he married
JoAnn McNelly Poe who survives.
Other survivors include one son, Emanuel Lynn "Butch" White and wife, Beth, of Greenbriar, Ark., two step-sons, Greg Keith Poe and wife, Peggy, of Kennett and Joe David Poe and wife, Angela, of Blytheville, Ark.; one daughter, Billie Jean Evans and husband, Frank, of Greenbrier, Ark.; three brothers, George Will White and Maylon H. White, both of Trumann, Ark. and Jimmie H. White of Piggott, Ark.; three grandchildren and four step-grandchildren.
Funeral services are 2 p.m. today, Sunday, Nov. 9, at McDaniel Funeral Service Chapel in Kennett with the Rev. Dale Rickman officiating.
Burial will be in Oak Ridge cemetery in Kennett.
Pallbearers are Rick White, Paul White, Jimmie White, Opie White, Alfred White and Ronnie Taylor.
Honorary pallbearers are the men of Friendship Baptist Church, brothers of Piggott Masonic Lodge, Terry Goodwin, Dave Smith and E.J. Tippen.
Bob White
Bob White, 88, of Wylie, Texas, died Thursday, Nov. 6, 2003 in Wylie.
Born Dec. 17, 1914, in the Pulltight community in Hardin County, Tenn., son of the late Thomas Clayton and Mattie Leon Hodge White, he was a member of Calvary Assembly of God Church in Kennett and farmed before moving to Dallas in 1995.
He married
Alberta Smith-Riggins who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by a son and his son and daughter, twins, Larry Ray and Linda Faye White.
Survivors include his children, James R. White of Richardson, Texas, Don White of Garland, Texas, Hugh White of Cape Girardeau, Mo., Ronnie White of Abilene, Texas, Jean Veasey of Garland, Inez Michael of Wylie, and Connie Marino of Houston, Texas; 12 grandchildren, Deborah Lynn Williams, Judy Elaine Bryant, Mark Alan White, Vickie Ann Veasey Coker, Michael E. Veasey, Christina Joy Jarrett, Brian Stacy White, Tara Leigh Eaves, David Drew White, Christopher Lloyd Borders, Randy D. White and Mary Amber White; and 10 great grandchildren, Ian Edward Williams, Rachel Alese Williams, Brooke Elaine Bryant, Nickolas George Bryant, Michael Cameron Veasey, Alex Veasey, Elizabeth "Beth" Jarrett, Bryhton Morgan White, Garrett White, and Cody Duane Eaves.

Graveside services are 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 10, . at Old Goshen cemetery in Hardin County, Tenn.

Doyle Jordan, 80, of Byhalia, Miss, died Wednesday, Nov. 5, 2003, at Corinth, Miss.
Born Friday, Nov. 2, 1923, in Damascus, Ark., he was a son of the late Moses P. and Moses P. Lane Jordan. He was a farmer and veteran of the U.S. Army.
In 1947 in Morrilton, Ark., he married
Betty Alice Windham who preceded him in death April 5, 1952. He was also preceded in death by one daughter, Sandra Jordan, on April 5, 1952.
Surviving are one daughter, Linda Griffin of Byhalia, Miss; two sisters, Juanita Bryant of Center Ridge, Ark. and Reba Bolton of Conway, Ark. and one brother, Mozey Jordan of Morrilton.
Funeral services are 11 a.m. today, Sunday, Nov. 9, at the Baptist Church in Wardell, Mo., with the Rev. Grigg Walker officiating

The Rev. James Cecil Evans, 80, of Kennett, died Thursday, Nov. 6, 2003, at his home.
Born Wednesday, July 18, 1923, at Parsons, Tenn., a son of the late Frank and Estella Hayes Evans, he was a minister and pastor of Full Gospel Church in Kennett.
On Sept. 26, 1945, at Busch Church in Portageville, Mo. he married
Magie Juanita Quinn who survives.
He is further survived by two sons, Donald Evans of Hot Spring Village, Ark. and Mike Evans of Kennett; one brother, Wylie Evans of Lexington, Tenn.; six grandchildren, Daniel Evans, Becky Moore and Tim Evans all of Liberty, Mo., Phillip Tallent of Twentynine Palms, Calif., Delena Thomas of Scott City, Mo. and Elisha Evans of Kennett; and eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one son, Gary Wayne Evans; three brothers, George, Elco and Charlie Evans; and four sisters, Cenie Byrd, Maggie Hearn, Eddy Watson and Ruby Evans.
Funeral services are 1 p.m. today, Sunday, Nov. 9, at Full Gospel Church with the Rev. Daniel Evans, assisted by the Rev. Gerald Huntington, officiating.
Burial will be in Dry Bayou cemetery at Hayti, Mo. with Bradshaw Funeral Home of Kennett in charge of arrangements.
The family suggests memorials be made to Full Gospel Church.
Dessie Ethridge

Dessie Lee Ethridge, 67, of Hornersville, Mo., died Friday, Nov. 7, 2003, at her residence.
Born Sunday, April 12, 1936, in Hornersville, a daughter of the late Howard and Francis Mogers Pate, she was a nurses aide and member of Hornersville Baptist Church.
On March 8, 1954, in Kennett, she married
Charles A. "Doc" Ethridge who survives.
She is further survived by a son, Steve Ethridge of Beebe, Ark., a daughter, Debra Whitlock of Senath, Mo., three sisters, Dorothy Grimsley of Wauchula, Fla., Diann Johnson of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. and Waynoma Port of Paducah, Ky., four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sisters and one brother.
Visitation is 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. today, Sunday, Nov. 9, at Bradshaw-Emerson Funeral Home in Hornersville.
Funeral services are 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 10 at Hornersville Baptist Church with the Rev. Doug Clinton officiating.
Burial will be in Horner cemetery at Hornersville.
Dorothy McKamey

Dorothy Lee Edwards McKamey, 82, of Jackson, Tenn., died Saturday, Nov. 8, 2003 in Nashville, Tenn.
Born on Dec. 2, 1920 in Whitehaven, Tenn., a daughter of the late Elbert E. and Werdna C. Edwards, she taught English for 32 years in Shelby and Madison Counties and was a member of the Alpha Delta Kappa Teacher's sorority. She was a former member of the First Christian Church of Jackson and became a member of the Kingston Springs United Methodist Church.
She was married
to Robert McKamey, who preceded her in death.
Survivors include, two daughters, Laurie Cooper and husband, Steve, of Kingston Springs, Tenn., and Susan James and husband, Dennis, of Kennett; and four grandchildren, Chase Cooper, Julia James and Jess and R.J. Tate.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 12, at the George A. Smith and Sons Funeral Home in North Jackson, Tenn.
Burial will be in the Highland Memorial Gardens in Jackson, Tenn.

Willie A. Hensley, 73, of Kennett, died Saturday Nov. 8, 2003 at Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center in Kennett.
Born on Sept. 15, 1930 in Adamsville, Tenn., a son of the late Dossie L. and Edith M. Copeland McGarity.
Survivors include six daughters, Carolyn Burgess of Kennett, Sharon Kay Jumper of Palestine, Ark., Venita Haywood of Kennett, Teresa Vaughn of Conway, Ark., Arlene Riggs and Arletta Lebo, both of West Palm Beach, Fla., two sisters, Mary Louise Gilliam of Kennett and Jane Brown of Arbyrd, Mo.; one brother, Harley McGarity of Rives, Mo.; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 10, at the McDaniel Funeral Chapel in Kennett with Rev. Tommy Swift officiating.
Burial was in the Oak Ridge cemetery.
Pallbearers were Martin Morris, Tim Rawls, Lenard Elder, Kenny Payne, Richie Prince and Ricky McGarity.
