Danny Womble
Danny K. Womble, 46, of Kennett, died Saturday, June 1, 2002, at Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center in Kennett.
Born Aug. 20, 1955, in Vicksburg, Miss., he was the son of Joe E. and Charlene Tutor Womble, who survive.
On Feb. 16, 1996, in Henderson, Tenn., he married
Cookie Tharp, of White Oak, Mo.
Survivors also include three sons, Corey Womble, of Cleveland, Miss. and Steven and Heath Shannon, both of Kennett; two daughters, Heather Womble, of Cleveland and Jamie Shannon, of Kennett; three brothers, Rickie Womble, of Marks, Miss., Tom Womble, of Batesville, Miss. and Tony Womble, of Killeen, Texas and three grandchildren, Shelby and Hayden Womble and Mikayla Reeves.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. today, Tuesday, June 4, at the McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel in Kennett with the Rev. Gary Gelsinger officiating.
Burial was in the Oak Ridge cemetery at Kennett.
Pallbearers were Scottie Crawford, Matt Rebstock, J.B. Scott, Glenn and Mike Pierce and Johnny Warhurst.
Honorary pallbearers were Chris Hilll and Larry McMillin.

Bill Blackburn, 71, of Clarkton, Mo., died Tuesday, June 4, 2002, at Missouri Southern Healthcare in Dexter, Mo.

Luther Bradshaw
Luther Bradshaw, 92, of Holcomb, Mo., died Sunday, June 2, 2002, at Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center in Kennett.
Born Feb. 24, 1910, son of the late Scott Winfield Hancock and Laura Ann Knox Bradshaw, he was a member of the Maple Grove Baptist Church.
On March 5, 1930, in Piggott, Ark., he married
Edith Dye, who preceded him in death on Feb. 1, 1995. He was also preceded in death by one son, Luther Dale Bradshaw; one daughter, Jannie Barker; three brothers, Jesse, Harry and Albert Bradshaw and one sister, Nell Coninger.
Survivors include six sons, Vernell Bradshaw, of Piggott, Glen Bradshaw, of Ellsinore, Mo., Joe Wayne Bradshaw, of O'Fallon, Mo., Charles David and Luther Stephen Bradshaw, both of Holcomb and James Phillip Bradshaw, of Poplar Bluff, Mo.; three daughters, Shelbagene Miller, of Malden, Mo., Glenda Pounders, of Manchessy Park, Ill. and Elaine George, of Kennett; three brothers, J.T. Bradshaw, of Holcomb, Jewel Bradshaw, of White Oak, Mo. and June Bradshaw, of Portland, Ore.; one sister, Ethel A. King, of Jonesboro, Ark.; 29 grandchildren; 52 great-grandchildren and 16 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. today, Wednesday, June 5, at the McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. George Haygood officiating. Burial was in the Loyd cemetery at Holcomb. Pallbearers were grandsons, Ronnie and Rickey Miller, Jeff Barker and Brian, Phyllip, Ronnie, Greg and Tom Bradshaw.
Vernon Brooks
Vernon Lemmie Brooks, 77, of Doniphan, Mo., died Sunday, June 2, 2002, at the Methodist Central Hospital in Memphis, Tenn.
Born Sept. 27, 1924, in Geneva, Mo., son of the late Lemmie F. and Minnie Millhouse Brooks, he was a U.S. Navy veteran, serving in WWII and a member of the American Legion.
He married
Mary Helen Christian, who preceded him in death on Oct. 9, 1995.
Survivors include three daughters, Ava Nell Barnes and husband, Lannie, of Arbyrd, Mo., Cheryl Lee and husband, Terry, of Doniphan and Margaret Moore and husband, Kent, of Manila, Ark.; one brother, George Brooks, of Kennett; four grandchildren, Melissa Smith, Morgan and Weston Moore and Molly Lee and two great-grandchildren, Kalli and Kyler Smith.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. today, Wednesday, June 5, at the Hornersville First Baptist Church with the Revs. David Powell and Doug Clinton officiating.
Burial was in the Horner cemetery at Hornersville, Mo.
Pallbearers were Jimmie Lee, Brent and Bobby Moore, Barry McFarland, Joe Buck and Donald Lee Hart.
McDaniel Funeral Home of Hornersville was in charge of arrangements.
Ronald Kenner
Ronald 'Rip' Kenner, 60, of Kennett, died Monday, June 3, 2002, at his residence.
Born Dec. 12, 1941, in Pocahontas, Ark., he was the son of Lily Faye Spikes Kenner, of Holcomb, Mo. and the late Claude R. Kenner.
On Aug. 23, 1964, in Piggott, Ark., he married
Mary L. Crouch, who survives of the home.
Survivors also include one son, Jay Rhew, of Kennett; four daughters, Julie McCormick and Rhonda Kenner, both of Kennett, Shelia Goodson, of Crossville, Tenn. and Connie Hulse, of Madisonville, Ky.; two brothers, Tommy Kenner, of Holcomb and Blane Wilhite, of Piggott; two sisters, Mabel Wilhite and Susie Mashburn, both of Holcomb; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Mona Hilfiker.
Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. today, Wednesday, June 5, at the McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel with James Powell officiating.
Beulah Knotts
Beulah Knotts, 90, of Campbell, Mo., died Tuesday, June 4, 2002, at her residence.

Anna Osborne
Anna Marion Osborne, 91, of Kennett, died Monday, June 3, 2002, at Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center in Kennett.
Born Dec. 21, 1910, in Syracuse, N.Y., daughter of the late LeGrande and Marion Wright Dutcher, she was a homemaker and of the Church of God faith.
On Oct. 23, 1931, in Minoa, N.Y., she married
Kendall VanScoy Osborne, who preceded her in death on Oct. 16, 1985. She was also preceded in death by one son, William Osborne and one grandson, Mark Squires.
Survivors include two daughters, Carol B. Squires, of Kennett and Susan Osborne, of Fairdealing, Mo.; two aunts, Emily Shepard and Anna McElory, both of New York; 13 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.
Visitation will begin at 6 p.m. today, Wednesday, June 5, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home in Kennett.
Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Thursday, June 6, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Stuart Squires officiating.
Burial will follow at the Oak Ridge cemetery in Kennett.

Terry Moore, 61, of St. Louis, Mo., formerly of Senath, Mo., died Tuesday, June 4, 2002, at the Veterans Hospital in St. Louis.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, June 7, at the McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dale Rickman officiating.
Burial will follow at the Senath cemetery.

Pearl K. Nelson, 73, of Kennett, died Tuesday, June 4, 2002, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Mo.

Billy Blackburn
Billy James Blackburn, 71, of Clarkton, Mo., died Tuesday, June 4, 2002, at Missouri Southern Healthcare in Dexter, Mo.
Born Aug. 12, 1930. at Clarkton, son of the late James and Dena Rainey Blackburn, he was a U.S. Army veteran, serving in Korea and a member of the Church of Christ in Clarkton.
Survivors include one brother, Charles Blackburn, of Clarkton and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, June 8, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home in Malden.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 8, at the Stanfield cemetery in Clarkton.
