Theodore Green
Theordore D. Green, 70, of St. Louis, Mo., died Saturday, June 8, 2002, in Risco, Mo.
Born in Greenbrier, Mo., son of the late Linus R. and Christeen Green, he worked for McDonnell-Douglas and was a member of the Glad Tidings Assembly of God in St. Louis.
He was married
to Juanita Creason, who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by one son, Kenny D. Green; one brother, Burette Green and one sister, Charlotte Warner.
Survivors include five sisters, Loretta Thorn, Janette Creason, Vivian and Brenda Green and Geraldine Strange and five brothers, Charles Eldon, Junior, Randy, Dennis and Richard Green.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, June 12, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home in Malden, Mo.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, June 12, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home with the Rev. Jim Davis officiating.
Burial will follow at the Malden Memorial Park cemetery in Malden.
Tom Norris, Sr.
Thomas William Norris, Sr., 59, of Gideon, Mo., died Saturday, June 8, 2002, at his residence.
Born Sept. 24, 1942, in St. Louis, Mo., son of the late Ernest and Bessie Wright Norris, he was a truck driver and a member of the Church of God in Malden, Mo.
On Sept. 26, 1998, in Malden, he married
JoAnne Holmes, who survives of the home.
Survivors also include one son, Thomas William Norris, Jr., of Blanchard, La.; two daughters, Melody Gayle Sanders, of Shreveport, La. and Amanda Joan Hodges, of Bloggett, La.; one step-daughter, Diane Corbett, of Dexter, Mo.; eight grandchildren; three step-grandchildren and three step-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one brother.
Visitation will begin at 6 p.m. today, Tuesday, June 11, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home in Malden.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday, June 12, at the Church of God in Malden with the Rev. James Wampler officiating.
Burial will follow at the Stanfield cemetery in Clarkton, Mo.
Clifton Royal
Clifton Royal, 69, of Hayti, Mo., died Saturday, June 8, 2002, at the Methodist Hospital in Dyersburg, Tenn.
Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 15, at the Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Hayti.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 15, at the Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. LeRoy Lockridge officiating.
Burial will follow at the Evergreen cemetery in Hayti.

Ruby Sullivan, 93, of Hayti, Mo., died Monday, June 10, 2002, at the Pemiscot Healthcare Nursing Home in Hayti.

Garnet Watt
Garnet Maenon Watt, 73, died Monday, June 3, 2002, at LaGrange Memorial Hospital in LaGrange, Ill.
Born May 21, 1929, in Caruthersville, Mo., she was the daughter of the late Gussie and Olive White Curtis.
On Oct. 12, 1946, in Caruthersville, she married
Randorth Watt, who preceded her in death on Dec. 21, 1975. She was also preceded in death by one brother and two sisters.
Survivors include one son, Randy Watt, of Elmhurst, Ill.; one granddaughter, Allie Marie Watt and five brothers, Wilkie Curtis, of St. George, Utah, Jack and Larry Curtis, both of Dayton, Tenn., Gus Curtis, of Glen Ellen, Ill. and Speedy Curtis, of West Plains, Mo.
Graveside services were held at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 8, at the Maple cemetery in Caruthersville with the Rev. Speedy Curtis officiating.
Pallbearers were Paul, Charles, Larry and Casey Curtis and Marrus L. Sutton.
H.S. Smith Funeral Home of Caruthersville was in charge of arrangements.

Frances Goodrich
Frances Gooddrich, 77, of Steele, Mo., died Monday, June 10, 2002, at the Baptist Memorial Hospital in Blytheville, Ark.
Born Aug. 1, 1924, in Bonicord, Tenn., daughter of the late John and Lottie Gill Lovins, she was the owner of a grocery store and a member of the First Baptist Church in Steele.
On Aug. 15, 1942, she married
Johnnie P. Goodrich, who preceded her in death on July 30, 1989.
Survivors include three daughters, Shirley Jones and husband, James, of Morristown, Tenn., Jerri McConnell, and husband, Tom, of Phoenix, Ariz. and Barbara Greene and husband, David, of Steele; one sister, Rachel Moore and husband, Fred,of Brighton, Tenn.; one grandson, Keith Jones, of Orlando, Fla.; six granddaughters, LeeAnne Frost, of Rutledge, Tenn., Teresa Ahlquist, of Phoenix, Tammie Borden, of Gilbert, Ariz., Krysten Pruitt, of Blytheville and Leah and Laura Pruitt, both of Steele; one step-grandson, Casey Greene, of Steele and two step-granddaughters, Lauren Greene, of Greenbrier, Ark. and Courtney Greene, of Steele and six great-grandchildren, Wesley and Logan Frost, Matthew Jones, Tori Ahlquist and Hailey and Haden Borden.
Visitation will be from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. today, Wednesday, June 12, at the Bradshaw-Powell Funeral Home in Steele.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 13, at the First Baptist Church in Steele with the Rev. Jim Mousie officiating.
Burial will follow at the Pemiscot Memorial Gardens cemetery in Caruthersville, Mo.
Gladys Leach
Gladys May Leach, 84, of Ellsinore, Mo. died Friday, June 7, 2002, at Ellsinore.
Born Aug. 29, 1917, in the Freeland community near Ellsinore, daughter of the late Thomas William and Ora May Berry Roark, she was a news correspondent for the Current Local and Wayne County Journal, Banner newspapers. she was a member of the Harmony General Baptist Church and served as a Carter County Republican Committee Woman.
On Oct. 4, 1941, in Lemay, Mo., she married
Albert Willard Leach, who preceded her in death on Jan. 7, 1997. She was also preceded in death by one son, Albert Leroy 'Sonny' Leach; one grandson, Brian and one great-granddaughter, Angel.
Survivors include two sons, Kenneth Leach and wife, Janet and Gary Leach and wife, Sue, all of Ellsinore; two daughters, Barbara Michaels and husband, Ken, of Noble, Ill. and Edith Lawrence and husband, Marvin, of Kennett; a daughter-in-law, Rita Leach, of Highridge, Mo.;one brother, Tom Roark, of Poplar Buff, Mo.; three sisters, Violet Skaggs, of Poplar Bluff and Edwina Carnahan and Jessie boyer, both of Ellsinore; 14 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 9, at the First Baptist Church in Ellsinore.
Burial was in the Harmony cemetery at Ellsinore.

Ruby Rowena Sullivan, 93, of Hayti, Mo., died Monday, June 10, 2002, at the Pemiscot Nursing Home in Hayti.
Born Feb. 7, 1909, in Gipson County, Tenn., daughter of the late Joe and Mable Nethery Burress, she was a housewife and a member of the Calvery Baptist Church in Hayti.
On June 5, 1932, in Hayti, she married
Murry Glen Sullivan, who preceded her in death on June 7, 1999. She was also preceded in death by one sister, Eurie Tibe and three brothers, Harold, Gentry and Edgar Burress.
Survivors include one son, Murry Sullivan, of Sikeston, Mo.; one daughter, Mary Sue McKay, of Hayti; one sister, Monette, Tallvto, of California; one brother, Arbrey Burress, of Hot Springs, Ark. and two grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. today, Wednesday, June 12, at the Bradshaw-Osburn Funeral Home in Hayti.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday, June 13, at the Calvery Baptist Church in Hayti with the Rev. Jerry Baker officiating.
Burial will follow at the Woodlawn cemetery in Hayti.
Pallbearers were Bobby Mott, Bob Sullivan, Hugh Barnes, Jerry Gurley, Austin McCann and Richard Ashbaugh.
Christine Vaughn
Christine Vaughn, 42, of Malden, Mo., died Saturday, June 8, 2002, at the St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Mo.
Born June 10, 1959, in Farrell, Miss., daughter of Mae Lizor Harris Wilkins, of Farrell and the late Willie Moore, she was a member of the Zion Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Malden.
In Farrell, she married
Monroe C. Vaughn, who survives.
Survivors also include one son, Monroe E. Vaughn, of Malden; three sisters, Jerlean Farr, of Malden and Willie Mae Jones and Tina McCray, both of Farrell; three brothers, W.C. Harris, of Santa Barbara, Calif, Stanley Wilkins, of Malden and Ricky Johnson, of Farrell and a special friend, Frank Snider, of Malden.
Visitation will be from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, June 14, at the Zion Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Malden.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, June 14, at the Zion Grove Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Gene Perkins officiating.
Burial will follow at the Macedonia cemetery in Malden.
