Harold Houchins
Harold Edwards Houchins, 55, of Senath, Mo., died Friday, June 21, 2002, at his residence.
Born May 18, 1947, in Richlands, Va., son of the late Clint E. and Maggie E. Cordle Houchins, he was U.S. Army veteran, a house painter and a contractor.
On Nov. 19, 1990, in Piggott, Ark., he married
Nan Finley, who survives of the home.
Survivors also include five sons, Lloyd Houchins and David Hurst, both of Senath, Duane Houchins, of Kennett, John Houchins, of Honaker, Va. and Shawn Houchins, of Richlands; three daughters, April Beaird, of Kennett and Violet Blevins and Sharon Houchins, both of Honaker; one sister, Madge Short, of Rhoadesville, Va.; seven brothers, James Houchins, of Marion, Va., Ray, Stanley, Glen and Raymond Houchins, all of Max Meadows, Va., Emery Houchins, of Honapath, N.C. and Andy Houchins, of Ceader Bluff, Va. and eight grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Eley and Clinton "Bud" Houchins and four sisters, Louise Mullins, Oma Settle, Grace Hurst and Beulah Cole.
Graveside services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 25, at the Horner cemetery in Hornersville, Mo. will Bill Ivy officiating.
Bradshaw Funeral Home of Kennett was in charge of arrangements.
Lorine O'Neal
Lorine Tompkins O'Neal, 87, of Campbell, Mo., died Monday, June 24, 2002, at the General Baptist Nursing Home in Campbell.
Born Aug. 28, 1914, in Glennonville, Mo., daughter of the late Van Zalma and Sadie Alma Vincent Tompkins, she was a housewife and of the Pentecostal faith.
On Feb. 15, 1940, in Malden, Mo., she married
Cleatus "Red" O'Neal, who preceded her in death on March 25, 1986. She was also preceded in death by five brothers, Charles, Randolph, Robert, Cecil and Jessie Tomkins and one sister, Evelyn Sue Tompkins.
Survivors include one daughter, Marjorie Burks, of Campbell; one son, Leroy O'Neal and wife, Vonetta, of Rector, Ark.; two sisters, Pauline Snow and Geraldine Corder, both of Malden; one brother, Glenn Tompkins, of Florissant, Mo.; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, June 26, at the Landess Funeral Home in Campbell.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 27, at the Landess Funeral Home Chapel with Charles Blackman officiating.
Burial will follow at the Memorial Gardens cemetery in Kennett.
Mildred Robertson
Mildred Robertson, 42, of Malden, Mo., died Sunday, June 23, 2002, at Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center in Kennett.
Visitation will begin at 6 p.m. Friday, June 28, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home in Malden.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 29, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel with Elder James Fair officiating.
Burial will follow at the Macedonia cemetery in Malden.
Martin Britt
Martin F. Britt, 71, of Clarkton, Mo., died Monday, June 24, 2002, at his residence.
Born Aug. 28, 1930, in Kennett, son of the late Joseph F. and Ada G. Davis Britt, he was a U.S. Air Force veteran, serving in Korea and a member of the Lynn Oak General Baptist Church in Clarkton, where he was a deacon and church clerk. He was County Executive Director for the Department of Agriculture and a former school teacher. s
On May 29, 1955, in Clarkton, Mo., he married
Wanda Cruce, who survives of the home.
Survivors also include two sons, Phillip Britt and wife, Bethany, of Kennett and Shannon Britt and wife, Julie, of Eureka, Mo.; four grandsons, Dillon, Jackson, Dawson and Mason; three sisters, Juanita Midge Shepard, of Blytheville, Ark., Mable Wentzell, of Bellevue, Wash. and Jo Alyce Mason, of Dexter, Mo.; mother-in-law, Vada Cruce, of Clarkton and a sister-in-law, LaDonne Bizzell, of Clarkton.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 26, at the Landess Funeral Home Chapel in Malden, Mo. with the Revs. Bill Orr and Jack Allen officiating.
Burial was in the Memorial Gardens cemetery at Kennett.

Rosetta Cox
Rosetta Cox, 73, of Malden, Mo., died Monday, June 25, 2002, at her residence.
Born Feb. 21, 1929, in Greenville, Mo., daughter of the late George and Lucille Johnson Kean, she was a seamstress and of the Baptist faith.
On Oct. 28, 1943, in Piggott, Ark., she married
Arvel Elmer Cox, who preceded her in death on Sept. 9, 1991.
Survivors include two sons, Dewayne Cox and Ronnie Cox and wife, Janet, all of Malden; two daughters, Peggy Cooper and husband, Jackie, of Chesterfield, Mo. and Shirley Brawner, of Ballwin, Mo.; one brother, James Kean, of Malden; nine grandchildren, Brian Cox, of Charleston, Mo., Jason Howell, of New York, N.Y., Kimberly Tucker, of Dexter, Mo., Michael Cox and Jackie Cooper II, both of Bloomfield, Mo., Donnie Brawner, of Springfield, Mo., Jason Brawner, of Fenton, Mo., Karen Kelly, of Crestwood, Mo. and Jeremy Cooper, of Germany; one great-granddaughter, Briget Lyn Cooper; one great-grandson, Andrew Todd Howell; four half-sisters, Wanda Marler, Ellen Masson, Ruth Oldham and Loretta Bowling and seven half-brothers, Sonny, Tom, Jim, Joe, Ted, Tiny and Darrin Kean.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 26, at the Landess Funeral Home Chapel in Malden with Dawsey Lee Brown officiating.
Burial was in the Memorial Park cemetery at Malden.
Bobby Kelley
Bobby L. Kelley, 69, of O'Fallon, Mo., died Wednesday, June 26, 2002, at his residence.
Born Oct. 25, 1932, in Senath, Mo., son of the late Arley and Eupal Kelley, he was a foreman at Corregated Paper Products and a member of Fairgrounds Road Church of Christ in Troy, Mo.
Survivors include his wife, Doris J. Kelley, of O'Fallon; three daughters, Sonia Kelley and Tamela Boone and husband, Bobby, all of Moscow Mills, Mo. and Mickey Kelley, of McMinnville, Ore.; two brothers, Arley L. Kelley, Jr., of Senath and Larry D. Kelley, of Kennett; 13 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; 10 step-grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one son, Bobby L. Kelley, Jr.
Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, June 28, at the Baue Funeral Home in O'Fallon.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 29, at the Baue Funeral Home Chapel.

Eldon Knotts, 69, of Campbell, Mo., died Wednesday, June 26, 2002, at his residence.

Mildred Robertson
Mildred Marie Robertson, 42, of Malden, Mo., died Sunday, June 23, 2002, at Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center in Kennett.
Born March 10, 1960, in Ridgley, Tenn., daughter of Leroy Marshall, of Union City, Tenn. and Rosie Dokes Woolens, of Malden, she was a member of the Church of God in Christ in Malden.
Survivors also include two daughters, Candace Dokes and Marquita Robertson, both of Malden; three sisters, Cheryl Dargan, of Blytheville, Ark., Vanessa Fly, of Dyersburg, Tenn. and LaGina Marshall, of Union City; one brother, James Marshall, of Union City; grandmother, Marshall Lee Dokes, of Ridgley and one grandson, Kristopher Dokes, of Malden.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Anthony Marshall and step-father, George Woolens.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, June 28, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home in Malden.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 29, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel with Elder James Fair officiating.
Burial will follow at the Macedonia cemetery in Malden.
Ezra Knotts
Ezra Eldon Knotts, 69, of Campbell, Mo., died Wednesday, June 26, 2002, at his residence.
Born Feb. 17, 1933, in Pocahontas, Ark., son of the late Doswell Eldon and Beulah Mae Phillips Knotts, he was a U.S. Army veteran, serving in the Korean Conflict and the Vietnam Era. He was an operating engineer of heavy equipment and a member of the Campbell Assembly of God Church.
On July 2, 1964, in Tuscumbia, Mo., he married
Sharon Lee Ash, who survives of the home.
Survivors also include one daughter, Julie Ann Morrison and husband, John, of Campbell; one son, Justin Eldon Knotts, of Campbell; one granddaughter, MacKenzie Morrison; one grandson, Duncan Morrison; one brother and six sisters.
He was preceded in death by one brother.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today, Friday, June 28, at the Landess Funeral Home in Campbell.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 29, at the Landess Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Larkin Enlow officiating.
Burial will follow at the Elder cemetery in Campbell.
Anna Moore
Anna Moore, 68, of Malden, Mo., died Thursday, June 27, 2002, at the Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Mo.

Carlena Pike
Carlena Pike, 51, of Elkhart, Ind., died Tuesday, June 25, 2002, at her residence.
Born Aug. 25, 1950, in Cape Girardeau, Mo., daughter of Eve L. Harmon Dinkens, of Senath, Mo. and the late Carl E. Dinkens, she worked for Pro Air in Elkhart.
On April 28, 1973, in Grovertown, Ind., she married
Dennis M. Pike, who survives of the home.
Survivors also include one daughter, Lydia E., of Mishawaka, Ind. and one son Dennis "Jason", of Elkhart.
She was preceded in death by one son, Fess Pike.
Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday, June 30, at the Palmer Funeral Home in Osceola, Ind.
Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Monday, July 1, at the Palmer Funeral Home with the Rev. Don Francis officiating.
Burail will follow at the Grovertown cemetery.
