Scott Jackson, 72, of Gideon, Mo., died Thursday, July 11, 2002, at Gideon Care Center in Gideon.
Visitation is today, Friday, July 12, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at McDaniel Funeral Service Chapel in Kennett.
Funeral services are 10 a.m. Saturday, July 13, at McDaniel Chapel.
Burial in Memorial Gardens cemetery in Kennett.
Bobby Lyles
Bobby Gene Lyles, 63, of Kennett, died Wednesday, July 10, 2002, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Mo.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. Sunday, July 14, at Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel in Kennett, until the time of services at 2 p.m. Bishop Willie H. Johnson will officiate.
Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery in Hayti.
Leo Penrod
Leo E. Penrod, 85, of Carmi, Ill., formerly of Malden and Campbell, Mo., died Wednesday, July 10, 2002, at White County Medical Center-Skilled Care Unit in Carmi.
Born Sept. 21, 1916, in Malden, son of the late W.C. and Rosabelle Williams Penrod, he was a retired electrician for the city of Carmi, a member and honorary deacon the Cherry Street General Baptist Church in Carmi.
On March 2, 1935, he married
Jaunita Mizel who preceded him in death Sept. 15, 1977. On Jan. 15, 1978, he married
Pauline May McDonald who survives.
Other survivors include two daughters, Ruth Ann Ray and her husband, John, of O'Fallon, Mo., and Betty Joe Bolin of Campbellsville, Ky.; two step-sons, Joe Crawford of Marshall, Ill. and Gary Crawford of Mt. Vernon, Ill.; a sister, Rilla Tomlinson of Malden; six grandchildren, four step-grandchildren, 10-great-grandchildren and four step-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by 11 brothers and sisters and a granddaughter, Donna.
Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. tomorrow, Saturday, July 13, in Landess Funeral Home Chapel in Campbell.
Graveside services are 2 p.m. Sunday, July 14, in Elder cemetery at Campbell with John Ray officiating.
Faye Bramley
Faye Mildred Bramley, 96, of Hayti, Mo., died Sunday, July 6, 2002, at Pemiscot Memorial Nursing Home in Hayti.
Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Monday, July 15, at Bradshaw-Osburn Funeral Home in Hayti with the Rev. Paul Quinn officiating.
Thelma Butler
Thelma L. Butler, 64, of Kennett, died Tuesday, July 9, 2002, at Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center in Kennett.
Born Thursday, July 7, 1938, in Hernando, Miss., daughter of the late Ora L. Robinson and Albert Walker, she was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include five brothers, Larry Robinson and his wife, Frances, of Kennett, Curtis Owens of Stillwater, Minn., Vernon Fergurson and his wife, Lillie, Norsell Brown and Sammy Brown, all of Memphis, Tenn.; two sisters, Callie Chess and her husband, Dan, of Detroit, Mich. and Maggie Brown, of Memphis.
She was preceded in death by two sisters and one brother.
Graveside services were 2 p.m. Saturday at Memorial Gardens cemetery in Kennett with Bishop Luck Robinson officiating.
Arrangements under direction of Bradshaw Funeral Home of Kennett.

Ina Floyd, 83, of Slidell, La., formerly of Kennett, died Friday, July 12, 2002, in Slidell.
Visitation is 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday, July 15, at McDaniel Funeral Service Chapel in Kennett.
Funeral services are 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 16 at McDaniel Chapel.
Burial in Memorial Gardens cemetery in Kennett.
Scott Jackson
Scott Jackson, 72, of Gideon, Mo., died Thursday, July 11, 2002, at Gideon Care Center in Gideon.
Born April 30, 1930, at Hackleburg, Ala., son of the late Edward Lafatte and Genner L. Hudson Jackson, he was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Survivors include two sons, Randy Jackson of Poplar Bluff, Mo. and Perry Jackson at Portageville, Mo.; one brother, J.D. Jackson of Newport, Tenn. and three sisters, Lucille Marchbanks of Campbell, Mo., Mazie Crafton of Bragg City, Mo. and Sue Lentz of St. Louis, Mo.; three grandchildren, Caleb Jackson, Janice Pruett and Randall Jackson, Jr. and one great-grandchild, Carlie Jackson.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, Raymond, Jerry and Bill Jackson and two sisters, Thelma Lou Jackson and Inez Mauldin.
Funeral services were 10 a.m. Saturday, July 13, at McDaniel Funeral Service Chapel in Kennett with the Rev. Puckett.
Burial was in Memorial Gardens cemetery in Kennett.
Pallbearers were Gene Marchbanks, Rick Crafton, Mike Crafton, Tim Crafton, John Lentz and Ronnie Crafton.
Honorary pallbearers were Richard Bradley, Roger Jackson and Denny Rudkin.

Mildred Morris, 94, of Cape Girardeau, Mo., formerly of Malden, Mo., died Saturday, July 13, 2002, at Chateau Girardeau in Cape Girardeau.

Bobby Lyles
Bobby Gene Lyles, 63, of Kennett, died Wednesday, July 10, 2002, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Mo.
Born Dec. 8, 1938, in Luxora, Ark., son of the late Jimmie D. and Victoria Daniels Lyles, he graduated from high school in Hayti, Mo. and was a forklift operator until his retirement. He was a member of the Light House Church in Kennett.
In July 1963, he married
Maxine Robinson who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by a son, Anthony Eugene.
Survivors include two daughters, Gwendolyn R. Johnson and her husband, Roland, of Kennett and Stephanie D. Lyles of Elgin, Ill.; one sister, Jewel Jordan and her husband, Jasper, of Cape Girardeau; mother-in-law, Quillar M. Robinson of Hayti; six grandsons, Carlos of Aurora, Ill, James, Jamas and Bobby, all of Elgin, Ill. and Jason and Kenny, both of Kennett; a granddaughter, Shenita of Elgin and two great-grandsons, Lil Carlos and Telem.
Funeral services are noon today, Sunday, July 14, at Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel in Kennett with Bishop Willie H. Johnson officiating.
Burial in Evergreen cemetery in Hayti.
Pallbearers are William Ford, Willie Lee Rice, Nathaniel Donald, Jimmie D. Russell, Jasper Jordan, Roland Johnson and Ed Mead.

Raymond Wallace, 88, of Hayti, Mo., died Friday, July 12, 2002, at his residence.

Richard Bishop
Richard Lee Bishop, 90, of St. Joseph, Mich., formerly of Caruthersville, Mo., died Monday, July 8, 2002, at Lakeland Memorial Hospital in St. Joseph.
Born April 13, 1912, in Caruthersville, son of the late Thomas W. and Fannie Dean Bishop, he was a U.S. Army veteran, where he was awarded three Bronze Battle Stars, three Bronze Arrowheads and a Purple Heart. He was a trucking contractor for Whirlpool and of the Methodist faith.
On April 24, 1943, in Caruthersville, he married
Hazel Earl Goodrum, who survives of the home.
Survivors also include one sister-in-law, Inez Speight, of Hayti, Mo. and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 13, at the H.S. Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Caruthersville with the Rev. Kenny Lee officiating.
Burial was in the Maple cemetery at Caruthersville.
Pansy Bolin
Pansy Reel Bolin, 87, of Kennett, died Sunday, July 14, 2002, at National Health Care in Kennett.
Born Dec. 5, 1914, in Holcomb, Mo., daughter of the late Sanford N. and Edna Sanford Reel, she was a member of the Ely Baptist Church and the Eastern Star Chapter 211.
On June 3, 1933 in Kennett, she married
Alton I. Bolin, who preceded her in death on July 10, 1975. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Bill and Everett Reel and two sisters, Beulah Neel and Pearl Bolin McFarland.
Survivors include one daughter, Sherry Ragins and husband, Kerry, of Kennett; one sister, Irene Ford, of Kennett and one grandson, Stephen Ragins, of Kennett.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. today, Tuesday, July 16, at the McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel in Kennett with the Revs. Don Slatton and Gary Henson officiating.
Burial was in the Oak Ridge cemetery at Kennett.
Pallbearers were Carol Moore, Dean Taylor, Lloyd (Sonny) Wimberley, Kevin Watts, Randy Baker and Elton Patterson.
Honorary pallbearers were members of her Sunday school class.
Faye Bramley
Faye Mildred Bramley, 96, of Hayti, Mo., died Saturday, July 6, 2002, at the Pemiscot Nursing Home in Hayti.
Born Nov. 12, 1905, in Caruthersville, Mo., daughter of the late Joplin and Vera Baldridge Moad, she was a homemaker.
She married
Ted Bramley, who preceded her in death on Aug. 11, 1985. Survivors include nieces and nephews.
Memorial services were held at 10 a.m. Monday, July 15, at the Bradshaw-Osburn Funeral Home in Hayti.
J.D. Cunnungham
J.D. Cunningham, 99, of Senath, Mo., died Monday, July 15, 2002, at his residence.
