Thelma Harrold, 89, of Senath, Mo., formerly of Kennett, died today, Friday, Oct. 25, 2002, at Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center in Kennett.
McDaniel Funeral home of Kennett is in charge of arrangements.
Billy Henderson
Billy DeWayne Henderson, 39, of Campbell, Mo., died Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2002, at Gideon Care Center in Gideon, Mo.
Born Oct. 28, 2002, in Mansfield, Texas, son of Delno Henderson and Flora Darlene McDonald Henderson, he was a carpenter and of the Baptist faith.
Survivors also include two brothers, Gary Henderson, of Jackson, Miss. and David Henderson, of Mountain Home, Ark.; one sister, Tammy Burnham, of Campbell and a grandmother, Willie Henderson, of Campbell.
Landess Funeral Home of Campbell is in charge of arrangements.
Wanda Hubbard
Wanda Jean Hubbard, 41, of Hayti, Mo., died Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2002, at Pemiscot Health Care in Hayti.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 26, at the Bradshaw-Osburn Funeral Home in Hayti.
Funeral services will be held at noon Sunday, Oct. 27, at the Bradshaw-Osburn Funeral Home Chapel with Willie Joe Jones officiating.
Burial will follow at the Evergreen cemetery in Hayti.
Edra Girdley
Edra Bryant Shoemaker Girdley, 94, of Keiser, Ark., died Thursday, Oct. 24, 2002, in Osceola, Ark.
Born Nov. 13, 1907, in Crossno, Mo., a daughter of the late Elbert and Lavada Rolan Bryant, she was a long-time member of the United Methodist Church in Keiser and was Mississippi County (Ark.) Farmer of the Year in the late 1960s.
Survivors include three daughters, Lois Bolick of Beebe, Ark., Bobbie Sorrells of Germantown, Tenn. and Lula Bell Perry of Keiser; one brother, L.V. Bryant of Kennett; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Charles L. Shoemaker; a daughter, Dorothy Dell Shoemaker; a granddaughter, Paula Edra Bolick Green, three brothers and one sister.
Funeral services were 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 26, at Roller-Swift Funeral Home Chapel in Osceola with the Rev. Jim Stone officiating.
Burial was in Mississippi County Memorial Gardens in Osceola.
The family suggests memorials be made to the Keiser United Methodist Church.

Born July 19, 1913, in Kennett, a daughter of the late J.O. and Mary J. Lemonds Hall.
She married
Edward Arthur Brock who preceded her in death. She later married
John Dewey Harrold, who also preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Freda Hall Lemonds and Evelyn Hall.
Survivors include two daughters Bonnie Sievers of Oak Ridge, Mo. and Faye Brock of Jackson, Mo.; three brothers, J.C. Hall of California, Dimon Hall of Oklahoma and Jim Hall of Oklahoma City, Okla; three sisters, Sylvia Wilson of Edmond, Okla., Alice Page of Kennett and Verniece Kilburn of Kennett; four grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Funeral services are at 2 p.m. today, Sunday, Oct. 27, at McDaniel Funeral Service Chapel in Kennett with the Rev. Jim Hall officiating.
Burial will follow in Oak Ridge cemetery in Kennett.
Pallbearers will be Sam Wells, Matt Wells, Ricky Wells, Michael Hall, John Swift and Stephen Swift.
Wanda Hubbard
Wanda Jean Hubbard, 41, of Hayti, Mo., died Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2002, at Pemiscot Memorial Health Systems in Hayti.
Born Saturday, June 17, 1961, in Hayti, a daughter of Emma Jean Hubbard of Bragg City, Mo. and the late Freddie A. Trawick, she was a homemaker.
Other survivors include two sons, Margus Hubbard of Bragg City and Kewan Hubbard of Hayti; two sisters, Debra Jones and husband, Willie, of Bragg City and Brenda James and husband, Terrance, of Kennett; three granddaughters, Mayka, Shabrika and Tamara Hubbard all of Bragg City; a close friend, Robert Farmer of Hayti and three grandchildren.
Funeral services are noon today, Sunday, Oct. 27, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel in Hayti with Minister Willie Joe Jones officiating.
Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery at Hayti.
Pallbearers will be James Hubbard, Timothy Hamilton, Charles Hubbard, Margus Hubbard, Herman Milton and Larenzo Hubbard.
Carl Baker
Carl Wilford Baker, 70, of Cardwell, Mo., died Friday, Oct. 25, 2002, at the Vererans Hospital in Memphis, Tenn.
Born Sept. 17, 1932, in Bemis, Tenn., son of the late Leslie and Nellie Brandons Baker, he was a U.S. veteran.
He married
Mary Pierce, who survives of the home.
Survivors also include two sons, Harvey Beasley and Timothy Dillahunt, both of Cardwell; three daughters, Teresa Gibson, of Warrensburg, Mo. and Brenda and Glenda McDonald, both of Culthbultz, Ga.; one brother, William Baker, of Jackson, Tenn.; one sister, Peggy Bartlett, of South Haven, Miss.; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and a special friend of the family, Ethel Foster, of Cardwell.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Betty Anderson.
Graveside services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 26, at the Cardwell cemetery with the Rev. Wayne Faulkner officiating.

Linda Britt
Linda Ludine Britt, 52, of Senath, Mo., died Thursday, Oct. 24, 2002, at her residence.
Born Oct. 16, 1950, in Lapanto, Ark., she was the daughter of Virgie Virginia Wilson Britt, of Cardwell, Mo., and the late Arthur Ludie Britt.
Survivors include one son, Jonathan Thomas, of Senath; one daughter, Gina Virginia Frain and husband, Michael, of Apache Junction, Ariz.; two brothres, Lonzo Jessie and Roger Ludie Britt, both of Cardwell; three sisters, Patsy JoAnn McClish, of Senath, Brenda Kay McClish, of Hornersville and Phyllis Sue Whitworth, of Portageville, Mo. and one granddaughter, Nina Renee Thomas.
Funeral services were held Sunday, Oct. 27, at the McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel in Senath with the Revs. Brent Pierce and Johnny Durham officiating.
Burial was in the Senath cemetery.
Pallbearers were Lonnie, Roger and Bennie Britt, Billy Thompson, Larry Whitworth and Carl Sheppard.
Daniel Godsey
Daniel Eugene Godsey, 43, of Caruthersville, Mo., died Satruday, Oct. 26, 2002, at his residence.
Born Nov. 4, 1958, in Hayti, Mo., he was the son of Aileen Beck Godsey Loyd and the late Joe Godsey.
Survivors include his mother Aileen Godsey Loyd and husband, Ralph, of Bragg City, Mo.; seven sisters, Patricia Jones and Donna Summers and husband, Melvin, all of Kennett, Shirley Hopper and husband, Frank, of Pascola, Mo., Brenda Barks and husband, Bill, of Silva, Mo., Cathy Mathias and husband, Mike, of Santa Rosa, Calif., Diane Purser and husband, Derek, of Nashville, Tenn. and Carol Hicks and husband, Mark, of Poplar Bluff, Mo. and three brothers, Donald Godsey and wife, Lisa, of Las Vegas, Nev., Jerry Godsey and wife, Diane, of Kennett and Kenneth Godsey, of Dyersburg, Tenn.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. today, Tuesday, Oct. 29, at the McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Don Crawford officiating.
Burial was in the Maple cemetery at Caruthersville.
Pallbearers were Jerry, Donald and Stephen Godsey and Carl Dees.
Cloys Goldsmith
Cloys Dale Goldsmith, 64, of West Plains, Mo., formerly of Campbell, Mo., died Saturday, Oct. 26, 2002, at his residence.
Born Dec. 13, 1937, in Campbell, son of the late Charles and Flora Emery Goldsmith, he was a U.S. Air Force veteran, and of the Assembly of God faith.
In 1984, in Piggott, Ark., he married
Brenda Ann Smith, who survives of the home.
Survivors also include seven children, Chris, Lisa, Sydney, Laurie, Chuck, Darrell and Shanna; one step-daughter, Tonda Adams; three brothers, Gene, Floyd and Don Goldsmith; one sister, Marie Peterson; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Ronnie Goldsmith and Charles Goldsmith, Jr.; two sisters, Katie Tune and Dorothy Fletcher and one grandson, Heath Wayne Dale.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. today, Tuesday, Oct. 29, at the Landess Funeral Home Chapel in Campbell with Allen Massey officiating.
Burial was in the Woodlawn cemetery-Landess Addition at Campbell.
Letha Hayden
Letha Hayden, 94, of Caruthersville, Mo., died Friday, Oct. 25, 2002, at Beverly Healthcare in New Madrid, Mo.
Born Nov. 29, 1907, in Rector, Ark., daughter of the late Caleb and Cora Benson Ellis, she was a member of the Sacred Heart Church and was active in the Catholic Ladies Society.
On April 8, 1928, in Caruthersville, she married
Joseph A. Hayden, who prececded her in death on April 19, 1979. She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Ellis Marie Coleman and one grandson, Paul Joseph Dawson.
Survivors include one daughter, Katherine Dawson Cook, of New Madrid; two sons, Joe A. Hayden, Jr. and Henry T. Hayden, both of Caruthersville; 13 grandchildren, Catherine Coleman Rigdon, John Kinsey Coleman, Jr., George W. Dawson, Jr., Melissa Dawson Hunter, Hayden K., Malinda C. and Dixie M. Dawson, Joseph A. (Trey) Hayden, III, Lee Ann and Matthew Lane Hayden, Lauren Hayden Parry, Henry Thomas Hayden, Jr. and Claire Hayden Tillman; 20 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild and two sisters, Mary Jane Vaughn, of Cape Girardeau, Mo. and Dorris Ford, of Kennett.
Funeral Mass was held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Oct. 28, at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Caruthersville with Father Joe Campbell officiating. He was assisted by George W. Dawson, III and Patricia (Patti) Hunter.
Burial was in the Little Prairie cemetery at Caruthersville.
Pallbearers were George W. Dawson, Jr., Hayden K. Dawson, Jospeh A. (Trey) Hayden, III, Henry Thomas Hayden, Jr., Matthew Lane Hayden.

Carroll Mungle, 64, of Holcomb, Mo., died Sunday, Oct. 27, 2002, at his residence.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 30, at the McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Zack Parr officiating.
Burial will follow at the Oak Ridge cemetery in Kennett.
