Carol Ann Revelle, age 55, passed away Monday, January 27, 2003, at her home in St. Louis. Friends may call Thursday, January 30th, after 10 AM, at the McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson. Funeral Service will be at 1 PM Thursday at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Russell Heights Cemetery. Rev. Janet Hopkins will officiate. Carol was born March 11, 1947 in Cape Girardeau, daughter of L. T. and Vernell Propst Eakins. She and Jimmie Revelle were married May 25, 1973. He passed away July, 1997. Loving survivors include her father and step-mother, L. T. and Mary Lou Eakins of Jackson; a son, Jerry Amsden of St. Louis; step-daughter, Bonnie Quick of St. James; two sisters, Mary Ruth Pepper of Fenton and Rita Sulzer of St. Louis; two grandsons; and two step-grand-daughters. In addition to her husband, she was also preceded in death by her mother and a brother.
She worked as a dietician for many years, retiring from the Truman Center in 2002 due to ill health. She was a member of First Baptist Church in St. Louis.

Callie was born Tuesday, January 21, 2003 at St. John’s Mercy Medical Center in St. Louis, Missouri. Numerous complications made it necessary for her transport to St. Louis Children’s Hospital, where she was surrounded by the tender love of her parents and the compassionate attention of many devoted doctors and nurses. Loving survivors include her parents; her sister, Madalyn Dockins of Jackson; maternal grandparents; John and Carolyn Sarff of Jackson; paternal grandparents, Bruce and Donna Dockins, all of Jackson; maternal aunt, Laura Martin of Norfolk, Neb.; paternal aunt, uncle and cousin, Christi, Rick, and Rebecca Guilliams of Jackson; maternal great-grandmother, Juanita Sarff of Farmington, Mo.; and paternal great-grandparents, Phyllis and Richard Lewis and Linda Malone all of Jackson. Pocahontas: Dillman R. Reisenbichler, age 73, passed away Friday, January 24, 2003, at his home. Friends may call between 3-8 PM, Sunday, January 26th, at the McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson and after 10 AM at the church on Monday. Funeral Service will be Monday, January 27th, at 11 AM, at the Zion Lutheran Church in Pocahontas, followed by interment in the Church Cemetery. Rev. Robert Mann will officiate. Mr. Reisenbichler was born September 3, 1929 at Pocahontas, the son of Adolph and Hedwig Kutscher Reisenbichler. He and Rita Ackman were married July 5, 1958. She survives. Other loving survivors include two sons and a daughter-in-law, Daniel Richard Reisenbichler, and Revis Dillman and his wife Teresa Reisenbichler; two brothers, Wilbert Reisenbichler of Pocahontas and Lennert Reisenbichler of Cape Girardeau; six grandchildren, nine nieces and nephews, and six great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Mr. Reisenbichler was in the National Guard from 1948 -1957. He farmed most of his life, retiring in 1986. He and his wife owned and operated the former “Bier Haus” located in Pocahontas for 17 years. They sold the business in 1994, but he continued to work there until his death. Mr. Reisenbichler was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Pocahontas for many years. He served on the Finance Board and was a Trustee at the Church for many years also. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the Zion Lutheran Education Fund.

Virginia was born October 18, 1920, near Burfordville, the daughter of Chester F. and Kate Burford Phelps. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Burfordville.
Surviving is a brother Carlin Phelps of St. Louis. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and one sister.

Margaret was born May 7, 1939, in Delta, Missouri, daughter of Robert L. and “Orpha” Mary Dysinger Brown. She and Jerry L. Thorne were married October 29, 1956. He passed away August 12, 1994. Loving survivors include two sons, Rick Thorne of St. Louis, Steven Thorne of Hudson, Florida; two daughters, Yvonne Howard of Florida, Chris Hardy of Jackson; five brothers, Robert Brown, Jr. of Jackson, Ernest Brown of Delta, Danny Brown of Scott City, Frank Brown of Delta, David Brown of Springfield; five sisters, Wanda Alvey of Illinois, Phyllis Riegert of Delta, Cathy Mouser of St. Louis, Donna McClard of Delta, Linda Allmon of Jackson; and seven grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was also preceded in death by two sons.
Margaret attended high school in Delta. She drove a paper delivery route for the Southeast Missourian for a number of years and then worked at Magnetic Collectibles in Cape Girardeau. She and Jerry had lived in Millersville for a number of years prior to his death.

Bret N. Hughes, age 40, passed away Saturday, January 18, 2003, at the Monticello House in Jackson. Friends may call Sunday, January 26th, after 11:15 AM, at New McKendree United Methodist Church in Jackson. A memorial service will be held at 12:30 PM with Military Honors. Rev. Jimmie Corbin will officiate. McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson is in charge of arrangements. Bret was born November 29, 1962 in Chicago, Ill., son of Barry N. Hughes and Bonnie S. Buente McCarter. He and Sarah L. Holshouser were married December 23, 2001. She survives. Other loving survivors include his father of Glenallen; three brothers, Barry J. Hughes of Cape Girardeau, Brian Hughes of Apache Junction, Az. And Tommy McCarter of Marble Hill; three sisters, Bridget Watson of Jackson, Barbara Cathey of Sedgewickville and Megan McCarter of Cape Girardeau; maternal grandmother, Nell Buente of Mesa, Az.; two nephews; six nieces; and one great-niece. He was preceded in death by his mother.
Bret attended Woodland High School and completed his education in Chicago. He was in the U.S. Army from October 22, 1980 through March 27, 1984, serving as a medical specialist and spending two years in Germany. He then attended Thornton Junior College in Chicago and later worked at Loyola University Medical Center in Chicago. In 2002, he moved to Cape Girardeau from Arizona to be near his family.

Jackson: Rev. Loy L. Barks, age 98, passed away Saturday, January 18, 2003, at the Jackson Manor Nursing Home. Friends may call Monday, January 20th, between 4-8 PM, at the McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson.
Funeral Service will be Tuesday, January 21st, at 10:30 AM, at the funeral home, followed by interment in Russell Heights Cemetery. The Revs. David Pringle and Mike Huffman will officiate. The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to Southeast Hospice. Rev. Barks was born October 15, 1904 in Sedgewickville, Mo., son of Henry and Sarah Hahs Barks. He and Jettie M. Gartung were married October 1, 1927. She passed away September 22, 1998. Loving survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Bob and Claueda Barks of Jackson; four sisters, Freda Martin, Effie Riehn, Gladys Bollinger, and Hazel Henson all of Jackson; two grandchildren, Robin Anderson and husband Mike of Lawrenceburg, Tenn. and Robert Barks and wife Renee’ of Oak Ridge; five great-grandchildren, Angie, Heather, and Michael Anderson and Tony and Ashley Barks; and one great-great-grandson, Tyler Anderson. In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by an infant brother and an infant sister.
Rev. Barks and Jettie farmed south of Jackson, until moving to the Jackson Manor in 1996. He also previously served in the board of directors of MFA Oil Company. In 1939, Rev. Barks established the live radio broadcast, “The Bible Baptist Fellowship,” which aired at 9 AM every Sunday originally on KFVS and ended in 1994 on KUGT radio station in Jackson. He was ordained a Baptist minister on March 27, 1946, at Calvary Baptist Church in the old Tabernacle on South Georgia Street. He then accepted a call to pastor Messler Baptist Church in Bell City, where he pastored until 1951 when he returned to Calvary Baptist. During his 44 year tenure at Calvary, he actively led the congregation in supporting missionaries in Argentina, Old Mexico, Lebanon, Formosa, as well as the Baptist Bible College in Springfield, Mo., which prepared missionaries for their call to the ministry and served as president of the Missouri/Arkansas Baptist Bible Fellowship Association. His pastorate concluded in 1995 when failing health forced his retirement.

Mrs. Martin was born April 8, 1911 near Oak Ridge, the daughter of Robert and Fannie Reid Cotner. She married William D. Martin on September 26, 1934. He passed away July 10, 1984. Surviving are one son, Jerry Martin of Jackson, one grandson, five great-grandchildren and one step-great-grandchild. Mrs. Martin was preceded in death by one grandson, three sisters, and two brothers.
Mrs. Martin was a long time member of the First Presbyterian Church in Jackson. She was also a former member of the Cane Creek Homemakers Club. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the First Presbyterian Church.

Clem Freese, age 90, of Jackson, passed away Thursday, January 16, 2003, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau. Funeral Mass will be Monday, January 20th, at 10 AM, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, followed by interment in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Cape Girardeau. Monsignor Edward Eftink will officiate. Clem was born November 26, 1912 in Cape Girardeau, son of Clemens L. and Josephine Roling Freese. He and Suenell Wissman were married April 11, 1936 in Cape Girardeau. Loving survivors include his wife of Cape Girardeau; his son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Sharon Freese of Jackson; two daughters and a son-in-law, Norma and Ben Cooper of Lake St. Louis, Missouri and Jan Freese of Richmond Heights, Missouri; seven grandchildren, Keith and Steve Cooper, Nancy Ledbetter, Tara Freese, Kristi Deneke, Lindsey Freese, and Jackie Nettleton; and seven great-grandchildren. Clem attended St. Mary’s High School in Cape Girardeau and was a member of its first graduating class. He then worked on the family dairy farm south of Cape Girardeau and he later drove for East Texas Motor Freight. From 1944 through 1946, he served in the U.S. Navy. Upon returning to Cape Girardeau, Clem worked for the former Charlie Hood Construction Company, primarily constructing commercial buildings in the downtown Cape area. In 1978, he retired from full-time construction but continued to work part-time on his own. Clem was a 53-year member of Immaculate Conception Church and its Bishop-Timon KC Council. He was a charter member of the Carpenters’ Local 1770 Union in Cape Girardeau, receiving his 50-year pin in 2002; a member of Altenthal-Joerns American Legion Post in Jackson; and a lifetime member of the VFW in Cape Girardeau. He formerly served as a 4-H leader and as a Democratic Committeeman for Fruitland Township. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the American Cancer Society, the American Heart Association, or the charity of your choice.

Stueve was a carpenter and a member of Carpenters Local 1770.
He served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War.
Loving survivors include his mother, Katherine Stueve of Jackson; one son, Jeremy Stueve of the state of Ohio; one daughter, DaVina Huff of the state of Washington; stepdaughter, LaBelle Neil of the state of Washington; two sisters, Kathryn Hogan of Chaffee, JoAnn Childress of Slidell, La.; and two step-grandchildren.

Mrs. Bodenschatz was born January 29, 1912 at Wittenberg, MO, the daughter of Theodore and Laura Roth Boehme. She and Ervin J. Bodenschatz were married October 27, 1935. Loving Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Dean and Sandy Bodenschatz of St. Louis, Ted and Beth Bodenschatz of Alpharetta, GA; two daughters and sons-in-law, Ruth and Jack Mirly and Janet and Harlen Weber, all of Jackson; three brothers, Elmer Boehme of Shawneetown, George Boehme of Bethel Park, PA, and Herbert Boehme of Desoto, MO; four sisters, Sara Roth, Irma Roth, Dorothy Steffens, and Paula Steffens all of St. Louis; 10 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers Oscar and Edwin Boehme and two sisters, Flora Kassel and Thelma Miesner.
Mrs. Bodenschatz was a longtime member of Grace Lutheran Church at Uniontown. She was a charter member of L.W.M. having served the organization as a two term vice-president and two terms as chairperson of the “Mite Box” Committee. Hilda was faithful in her prayer life and had a unique way of encouraging others through her prayers on their behalf.

Mrs. Cornell was born August 20, 1920 at Marquand, the daughter of George A. and Lillie B. Newell Smith. On December 22, 1938 she married Cline Welker, he died March 2, 1959. She later married Dale Cornell on February 21, 1969 and he passed away December 17, 1990. Loving Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Paul and Sherry Welker of Millersville; two daughters and sons-in-law, Virginia and Richard Welker of Millersville and Opal and John Drum of Perryville; one brother, Jessie Smith of Marble Hill; two sisters, Betty Williamson of Cape Girardeau and Edna Seabaugh of Jackson; five grandchildren, Casey and Dale Robert Welker, Michelle Welker, Shelly Nichole Drum, and William Drum; and two great-grandchildren, Marcus and Da’on. Laura Etta Craft, age 71, passed away Tuesday, January 7, 2003, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau. Laura was born May 1, 1931 in Neelys Landing, Mo., daughter of Fred and Lucille Hitchcock Medlock. She and Junior Craft were married June 25, 1948. Loving survivors include her husband of 54 years; two sons and daughters-in-law, Dwight and Cathy Craft and Fred and Julia Craft, all of Jackson; two daughters and sons-in-law, Pam and Larry Henderson of Thebes, Ill. and Shelia and Steven Barks of White Rock, NM; brother and sister-in-law, Rev. Robert “Bob” and Bernice Medlock of Sikeston, Mo.; and sister, Anna Mae Bullard of Jackson. Also surviving are seven grandchildren, Eric, Joshua, Rachel, and Caleb Craft, Thomas, Trisha, and Travis Barks; and great-grandson, Nick Palen. A loving wife and mother, Laura farmed with Junior many years in the New Bethel community. She was a lifelong member of New Bethel Baptist church where she played the piano, formerly served as the G.A. Director, church clerk, nursery director, and WMU president. She was also active in the former Neelys mission and a former member of the Pocahontas Homemakers Club. Laura’s many friends will fondly remember her for her generous heart. Burial will follow in Lorimier Cemetery. Mr. Nichols was born November 5, 1918 at Chaffee, the son of the late William and Emma Snider Nichols. He and Una Norman were married August 15, 1936. She survives. Other loving survivors are one son Raymond M. Nichols Jr., of Arnold; one sister, Alberta Evans of Hemet, CA; 2 granddaughters, and 5 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, two brothers, and four sisters. Mr. Nichols was a 1936 graduate of Cape Central High School. He had served in the US Army in the 2nd Armored Division during WW II. Mr. Nichols was a truck driver for Elfrink Truck Lines for many years, retiring in 1979. He was a member of Red Star Baptist Church in Cape where he also served as a deacon.

A private graveside service was held Sunday, January 5th, at Cape County Memorial Park Cemetery in Cape Girardeau, with Rev. David Johnson officiating. Bettie was born May 15, 1923 in Terre Haute, Indiana, daughter of Paul J. and Beulah Fowler Fisher. She married Harold F. James. He passed away July 17, 1969. Loving survivors include a son, Harold “Butch” James, II and wife Darlene of Wildwood, Missouri; daughter, Sandy Triplett and husband Larry of St. Louis; a sister, Ann DeLong of Tyler, Texas; and three grandchildren, Benjamin and David James and Brian Triplett. She was preceded in death by two brothers.
Formerly of Cape Girardeau, Betty had lived in Jackson since 1950. From 1949 – 1970, she worked as secretary for the family business, Starlight Garage, at the Highway 34 & 72 Junction west of Jackson. Bettie was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Jackson, where she was baptized and confirmed in 1952. She was also a member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Jackson. In Bettie’s memory, expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the St. Paul Radio Broadcast or the American Heart Association.

Mr. King was born January 27, 1916 in the Leemon Community, the son of the late Harrison and Tavie Wills King. He and Geneva E. Morton were married October 22, 1936, she passed away on March 29, 2001. Loving survivors include four sons and daughters-in-law, Joe and Earlene King, Gene and Joyce King, Kenny and Jackie King, Ricky and Lynda King, all of Jackson; four daughters and sons-in-law, Sue and Homer Stamp, Jr. of Scott City, Sharon and Bob Joyce, Mary Beth and Paul Vrbosky, Cynthia and Ken Hotop, all of Jackson; four sisters, Violet Sides of Blue Mound, IL, Geraldine Laramore of Jackson, Peggy Sue Craft of Jackson, and Doris Landis of Anna, IL; 14 grandchildren, Joey, Gregg, and Kristi King, Jayne Hartman, Gina Cato, Kendra King, Erika and Deidre King, Lisa Toll, Don Jacobs III, Andrea and Amy Vrbosky, Jennifer and Sarah Hotop; 10 great-grandchildren, one great-great-granddaughter. He was preceded in death by two brothers, one sister, and one granddaughter, Holly Christine Jacobs. Mr. King drove a school bus in north Cape County for the Jackson R-2 School District from 1946-1966. In 1952 he and his wife Geneva opened Bob’s Tire Repair in Jackson. The business continues today under the operation and management of his son Kenny. The King’s were known locally for their gifted musical abilities and talent. They were pioneers of a generation of dance music that spanned over 60 years. Along the way, they accumulated a wealth of friends in music covering a wide area. They always treasured and cherished these times. They were an inspiration to their family and friends, adult and young. Bob was a member of Shawnee Hills Baptist Church in Jackson.

Mary A. Middeke Fehr

Jackson: Mary A. Middeke Fehr, age 67, passed away Thursday, January 2, 2003, at St. Francis Hospital in Cape Girardeau. Mary was born January 19, 1935 in St. Charles, Missouri, daughter of Henry H. and Herma G. Hoffman Middeke. She and Ralph Fehr were married September 29, 1951. This past September they celebrated 51 years together. Loving survivors include her husband, Ralph of Jackson; three daughters, Debora Fehr-Mayfield of Jackson; Connie Werner and husband Randy of Jackson; Peggy Proffer and husband Kent of Wildwood, Missouri; her mother, Herma G. Middeke of St. Charles; six grandchildren, Dustin Mayfield, Whitney, Kylie, and Tanner Werner, and Baleigh and Mallory Proffer; a brother, James Middeke of Savannah, Georgia; and three sisters, Patsy Hirtz, Glenda Ketterman, and Sondra Nesslage, all of St. Charles. A devoted wife and mother, Mary was a homemaker until her children were raised. She then worked nine years at West Lake Quarry and several years at Estes Deli, retiring in May, 1999. She was a member of Emanuel United Church of Christ. Mary’s greatest joy was being with her family and grandchildren. In Mary’s memory, expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the Emanuel United Church of Christ Expansion Fund.

Marilyn was born June 11, 1934 in Altenburg, Missouri, daughter of Alfred and Natalie Koenig Kasten. She and Milton Haertling were married February 24, 1957. Loving survivors include her husband; a son, David Haertling of Frohna; daughter, Debra Martin of Perryville; a brother, Gordon Kasten of Altenburg; and four grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother; and two sisters. Marilyn worked 15 years as a cook at Trics Family Restaurant in Altenburg. Samuel “Sam” Masterson

Jackson: Samuel “Sam” Masterson, age 81, passed away Friday, December 27, 2002, at the Jackson Manor Nursing Home in Jackson. Friends may call between 4-8 PM Saturday, December 28th, at the McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson. Funeral Service will be 1 PM Sunday, December 29, 2002, at the funeral home. Interment will be in Russell Heights Cemetery with a Military Honor Guard Service. Rev. Kevin Roberts will officiate. Mr. Masterson was born May 8, 1921 the son of Duree and Lenora Weltecke Masterson. He and Thelma Owens were married June 30, 1945, she preceded him in death June 20, 1995. He then married Audrey Rodgers Wells on February 13, 1998 and she survives. Other loving survivors is a daughter, Cathy Masterson of Dallas, TX; one brother, Joe D. Masterson of Jackson; two sisters, Pat Davenport and Helen Gohn both of Jackson; one step son, David Wells of Jackson; two step-granddaughters, and three step-great-grandchildren. Sam served in the US Army during WW II and Korea and retired as a Major August 23, 1962. He then served 18 years in the Civil Service as a Budget and Systems Analyst, at the US Air Force Logistics Command, retiring in 1983. He moved to Jackson in 1990 from Fair Oaks, CA. Sam was ordained a Deacon in the First Baptist Church at Fair Oaks, then in 1990 he became a member of the First Baptist Church in Jackson where he was active on the bereavement committee. Sam was an avid bowler, bowling with several different teams. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the Missouri Veterans' Home or the church or charity of your choice.

Philip A. Beussink

Funeral Mass will be Monday, December 30th, at 10 AM at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, followed by interment in Russell Heights Cemetery. Monsignor Edward Eftink will officiate. Mr. Beussink was born April 11, 1928, at Leopold, son of Anthony and Mary Arnzen Beussink. He and Angela Wubker were married on May 17, 1952. Loving survivors are his wife, one son, Scott Beussink of Cape Girardeau; four daughters, Vickie Bollinger of Fenton, Karen Kubb of Ellisville, Tina Blattel of Kelso, Kathy McNamara of Lake Bluff, IL; thirteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Also surviving are four brothers, Bill Beussink of Buchanan, Tennessee, Harold and Fred Beussink of Leopold, David Beussink of Jackson; and four sisters, Adele Brands and Catherine Brands of Portageville, Pat Bollinger of Marble Hill, and Linda Brown of Jackson. He was preceded in death by two brothers.
Mr. Beussink was a Veteran having served in the US Army from 1950-1952. A lifelong carpenter, he established the Philip Beussink & Son Construction Company in Jackson. He was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, and was previously active in its RCIA. He was a 3rd Degree Knight of Bishop Timon Council 6405 in Jackson, and a member of the American Legion in Perryville.

Emogene was born May 4, 1934 in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Albert and Minnie Birk Burgfeld. She and Jim Schnurbusch were married November 19, 1954. He passed away April 3, 1998. Loving survivors include two sons, Scott Schnurbusch of Oak Ridge and Pat Schnurbusch of Millersville; two daughters, Lisa Biri of Jackson and Sally Dacus of Cape Girardeau; a brother, Lawson Burgfeld of Jackson; six grandchildren; one step-grandson; and three great-step-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Emogene was a 1954 graduate of Jackson High School. She had worked at the former Jackson Hosiery Mill and the former International Shoe Factory in Jackson. From 1989 – 1998, she worked at Southeast Missouri Hospital and from 1998 until the present time, she worked in the cafeteria at Jackson R-2 School District. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and the Ladies Knights of Columbus Auxiliary. She was also a member of the American Legion and VFW Auxiliaries in Jackson and had been the active chairman for Jackson Homecomers and its Queen Contest.

Betty Jo Bowen

Betty was born March 12, 1933 in Yarbough, Arkansas, daughter of Arnold and Opal Martin Thornton. She and Thomas L. Bowen were married January 21, 1953 in Piggott, Arkansas. Loving survivors include her husband, Tom of Marston; four sons, Eddie G. Bowen of Jackson, Thomas R. Bowen of Oak Ridge, Ebert L. Bowen of Millersville, Danny J. Bowen of Perryville; brother, David R. Thornton of Wardell, Mo.; seven grandchildren; seven step-grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and seven great-step-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother.
Betty was a member of First Baptist Church in Conran, Missouri.

James was born July 10, 1915, in Friendship, Tennessee, son of Carlos and Florence I. Privett Johns. He and Alta Marie Holmes were married August 11, 1936. Loving survivors include his wife, Alta of Jackson; son, Harold Johns of Jackson; daughter, Joyce Burk of St. Louis; brother, Sandy Johns of Steele, Missouri; two sisters, Lillie Prichard of Friendship, Tennessee and Pauline Vida of Farmington Hills, Michigan; half-brother, Oneal Johns and three half-sisters, Vera Brown, Lorene Johns, and Mattie Bell Ray. Also surviving are four grandchildren, Susan Gaskill of New Florence, Missouri, Tony Burk of Sugar Creek, Ohio, Cheryl Martin of Fenton, Missouri, Jannelle Potts of Winston Salem, North Carolina; and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Marie Gibson; a brother, Jesse Johns; and a sister, LaVerne Johns.
James was a member of the Carpenters’ Local Union #1770. He worked many years at Penzel Construction Company in Jackson. James and Alta were faithful member of Shawnee Hills Baptist Church in Jackson, where James served as a deacon and was instrumental in various construction phases of the church. Jeffrey S. Wille, age 40, passed away Monday, December 16, 2002, at Crump, Mo. as the result of an automobile accident. Jeff was born March 9, 1962 in Cape Girardeau, son of Norman E. and Grace Gilliland Wille.
Loving survivors include his mother, Grace Wille and brother, Todd Wille, both of Jackson.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Jeff was a 1979 graduate of Jackson High School where he was very active in basketball. He later attended Cape Vocational-Technical School. He worked for Mouser Auto in Jackson both during and after high school, Kieffer Construction for several years and was currently self-employed in residential construction. Jeff was a lifelong member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Jackson.
