James M. “Jim” Timmerman
James M. “Jim” Timmerman, age 59, of Sunrise Beach, born July 20, 1948 in Ellwood City, Pennsylvania, the son of William M. and Mimi Miller Timmerman. He grew up in California where he had many friends that he loved. He was united in marriage on August 31, 1983 with Janet Lee Sizemore who preceded him in death by his father, William Timmerman on February 12, 1990, his wife Janet Lee Timmerman of May 9, 2007, and his son Joshua Shane Timmerman on June 26, 2005. A celebration of life memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 15, at the Kidwell-Garber Laurie-Sunrise Beach Chapel in Laurie, with Dave Christiansen officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Jim Timmerman Memorial Fund. Arrangements are under the direction of the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home of Laurie.
Ruth Monica Creed
Ruth Monica Creed, 71, Gravois Mills, born March 2, 1931, in Hugo, a daughter of Robert H. and Clarissa Jane Pope Miller. She was died Oct. 12, 2001. She was a homemaker and a member of the Shrine of St. Patrick Catholic Church, Laurie. She sang in the church choir. Survivors include: three daughters, Linda Jean Creed, Laurie, Mary Janee Barnes, Denver, and Jenna R. Angell, Camdenton; four brothers, Robert G. Miller, Koshkonong, Thomas Walter Miller, Independence, James Joseph Miller, Northglenn, Colo., and Roy William Miller, Blue Springs; two sisters, Mary Catherine Dusil, Bonner Springs, Kan., and Clara Wilma Lenox, Kansas City; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. One daughter, Cynthia Ruth Weyrough, preceded her in cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:30-10 a.m. Monday at the church. There will be a rosary at 7 p.m. Sunday at Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home. Ferol A. Hansen
Ferol A. Hansen, 93, of Versailles, born May 11, 1909, in Clarion, Iowa, a daughter of Horace F. and Emma C. Nelson Graves. In 1948, she was died Jan. 23, 2001. Mrs. Hansen was a homemaker. Survivors include a son, Stephen E. Hansen of Independence, a brother, Robert Graves of Marshalltown, Iowa; two sisters, Wanda Ramsey of Des Moines, Iowa, and Gwen Duffy of Boone, Iowa; two granddaughters; and a great-granddaughter. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home in Versailles, with the Rev. Gailya Dow officiating. Burial will be in the West Lawn Addition of the Versailles died Thursday, Feb. 20, 2003, at the Good Shepherd Care Center in Versailles. She was married to George Calvin "Cal" Stevens, who death by a brother, Ray Crane; and four sisters, Pearl, Rena, Lettie and Edrie. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home in Versailles, with the Rev. Diane Miller officiating. Pallbearers will be Mike Stevens, Craig Stevens, Rodney Stevens, Bryce Wood, Wayne Fry and Nicholas Morgan. Burial will be in Versailles died Sunday, Feb. 16, 2003, at Lake Regional Health System in Osage Beach. She was married to Robert Gasper, who survives of the home. Mrs. Gasper was a retired dietary cook at Heartland West Hospital in St. Joseph. Also surviving are three daughters, Toni Marie Hoyt of Kansas City, Judith Ann Stevens of St. Joseph and Jeanne Stringfield of Bennington, Vt.; three stepsons, Mike Gasper of Stewartsville, Harry Gasper of Hempie and Rodney Gasper of Leon, Kan.; two stepdaughters, Bonzieta Winterringer of St. Joseph and Mary Garrett of Leon; three other stepsons and two other stepdaughters; a brother, David Smith of Texas; a sister, Helene Hoover of Texas; and several grandchildren. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Versailles died Feb. 18, 2003, at his home. He was married to Kathleen R. Wild. He was death. He was retired from the City of Kansas City. Survivors include: two daughters, Ellen Goodwin, Sunrise Beach, and Judith Maddox, Buena Park, Calif.; one brother, Carl Parker, Independence; three sisters, Trisha Turner and Gladys Wiggins, both of Independence, and Berneice Thornton, Park, Ark.; and eight grandchildren. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Garber Memorial Estates died Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2003, at the Good Shepherd Care Center in Versailles. She was married to Paul Herman Johnson, who Cemetery in Barnett with the Rev. Eugene Moll officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home in Versailles.
