James B. Fuller
James B. Fuller, 75, Laurie, born Dec. 16, 1927, in Kansas City, Kan., a son of Thomas and Marie Roth Fuller. He was death. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Ozark Chapel United Methodist Church, Laurie. The Rev. James Lawley will officiate. Graveside services will be Saturday in Great Bend passed away Friday, morning, December 7, 2007 at her home. She was death by one brother Jack Noble and one sister Sylvia Lane. Services will be at a later date in St. Louis, Missouri. Memorial contributions are suggested to West Lake Christian Church 936 Hwy O Gravois Mills, MO 65037. Reba L. Hilburn
Reba L. Hilburn, age 83, of Versailles, born October 25, 1919 in Wyburg, Kentucky, the daughter of Charley and Maggie Miller, at the age of nine she was adopted by Henry and Maggie Otten of Stover, Missouri. She was a member of the West Union Baptist Church near Versailles where she accepted Christ in 1979. She is survived by three daughters, Shirley Dority of Stover, Missouri, Joyce Bowers and husband, Jim of Versailles, Missouri, and Judy Stevenson of Placentia, California; one brother, Noble Otten of Roscoe, Illinois; six grandchildren Jimmy, Gary, Dale Jr., Tamara, Philip, and Teresa; nine great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 8:00 P.M. Wednesday at the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home in Versailles. Arrangements are under the care and direction of the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home of Versailles.
Carole E. Smith
Carole E. Smith, age 57, of Fountain Inn, South Carolina, born, November 7, 1945 in Gravois Mills, Missouri, the daughter of John and Elaine Power McKinley. Mrs. Smith was homemaker and nurses aid. She is survived by her mother, Elaine McKinley of Gravois Mills, Missouri; one son, Mark Smith of Greer South Carolina; one daughter, April Lambe of Simpsonville, South Carolina; four brothers, John McKinley of Plano, Texas, Richard McKinley of Collins, Missouri, Charles McKinley of Converse, Texas, and Mike McKinley of Bessemer, Alabama; one grandson, Aaron Lambe, and several step-grandchildren. She was preceded in Cemetery in Gravois Mills. The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. Wednesday at the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home. Arrangements are under the care and direction of the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home of Versailles.
Timothy Wayne Howser
Timothy Wayne Howser, 28, of Barnett, born Oct. 9, 1974, in Columbia, a son of Darrell Wayne and Reva Ann Bowman Howser. Surviving are his parents of the home; three sisters, Lisa Howell of Prairie Home, Melissa Bransetter of Eldon and Carrie Brown of Montgomery City; his maternal grandmother, Elizabeth "Bessie" Bowman of Versailles; and six nephews. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home in Versailles. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until service time Saturday at the funeral home. The family suggests memorial contributions to the Timothy Wayne Howser Memorial Fund in care of the funeral home.
Wilma Jean Marvin
Wilma Jean Marvin, 55, of Versailles, born May 14, 1947, in Larned, Kan., a daughter of Richard and Sarah Mohr Fagen. In 1965 she was died in 1966. Mrs. Marvin was a homemaker. Survivors include a daughter, Tammy Jean Massingill of Versailles; two sons, Charles Massingill and John Marvin, both of Versailles; two sisters, Connie Roberson and Donna Roberson, both of Kansas; and two grandchildren. She was also preceded in died Saturday, Jan. 25, 2003, at the Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City. He was married Lavona Moellman, who survives of the home. Mr. Garber was a Navy veteran of the Korean War. He was a farmer and a retired truck driver for Associated Wholesale Grocers. He was a member of the Teamsters Union and the Bethel Mennonite Church. Survivors also include two sons, Dan Garber Jr. of Independence and Tony Garber of Versailles; a daughter, Pam Garber of Versailles; two brothers, Vernon Garber of Apache Junction, Ariz., and Laurel Garber of Tipton; two sisters, Lydia Lehman of Berne, Ind., and Erma Goering of Mound Ridge, Kan.; and four grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Bethel Mennonite Church near Versailles, with Tom Voth and Dale Bentch officiating. Burial will be in the Bethel died Thursday, Jan. 23, 2003, at Boone Hospital Center in Columbia as a result of non-Hodgkins lymphoma. She was married to Darrel Goodman, who survives of the home. Mrs. Goodman was lifelong resident of Morgan County. She was a member of the Versailles United Methodist Church, where she worked for many years in the Sunday school department and the church library. She was a school teacher before her marriage, and she also worked as a teacher's aide and administrative assistant at the Morgan County R-2 Junior High School in Versailles. She also had served on the board of the Morgan County Mental Health Center. Also surviving are two sons, Ken Goodman of Houston, Texas, and Mark Goodman of Washington, D.C.; a brother, Glen Coit of Stover; three sisters, Melba Akers of Independence, Patricia Rabe of Eldorado Springs, and Mavis Garrison of Lee's Summit; and two granddaughters. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home in Versailles. Burial will be in Versailles Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Versailles United Methodist Church, 210 N. Monroe St., Versailles, MO 65084.
