WINFIELD - Arnold Lewis Fritz, 69, of Winfield, died Friday, Feb. 4, 2005, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. today at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home near Winfield.
Burial will be at Winfield Cemetery.
Mr. Fritz was born Sept. 11, 1935, in Winfield to Hubert and Bernice Bryant Ciyou.
He married Joyce Mae Konopka on Aug. 12, 1960, in St. John. She survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Michael Fritz and wife, Michele, of Jefferson City and Steven Fritz and wife, Susan, of St. Charles; five grandchildren; his mother, Bernice Kutscher, of Perryville; two brothers, Hubert Fritz of San Antonio and John Fritz of Winfield; two sisters, Eva Lipe of Perryville and Lorraine Wollard of Florissant; nieces, nephews; and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his biological father, Hubert Ciyou; and his adoptive father, John Fritz.
Mr. Fritz was a retired teacher.
He was a member of New Galilee Christian Church and woodcarvers' organizations.
Maxine Evonne Hart

PERRY - Maxine Evonne Hart, 79, of Perry, died at 1:03 a.m. Friday, Feb. 4, 2005, at Twain Haven Care Center in Perry.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. today at Bienhoff Funeral Home in Perry.
The Rev. Phyllis Hart will officiate.
Burial will be at Lick Creek Cemetery.
Mrs. Hart was born Feb. 14, 1925, in Ralls County to Creighton and Effie Dee West Riley.
She was married to George Franklin Hart on Dec. 10, 1947, in Hannibal.
The Rev. Johnny Golden officiated.
He preceded her in death Feb. 18, 1986.
Survivors include two daughters and one son-in-law, Jolene Hart of Perry, and Lorrie and John Berrey of Paris; one brother, Creighton Noel Riley of Perry; and one grandson, Michael Berrey of Paris.
Mrs. Hart was a lifetime area resident, homemaker and farmer.
She was a member of the Perry Christian Church.
She loved to mushroom hunt and hunt for arrowheads.
She enjoyed visiting with her family and friends.

Charlotte Grace Hickey

PARIS - Charlotte Grace Hickey, 75, of Paris, died Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2004, at Audrain Medical Center in Mexico.
A memorial service is planned for a later date.
The Agnew Funeral Home in Paris is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Hickey was born Sept. 6, 1928, in Granville to Earl and Irene Conley Dry.
She was married to John Lee Hickey on June 12, 1949, in Granville.
He survives.
Other survivors include several cousins.
Mrs. Hickey graduated from Shelbina High School as valedictorian at the age of 15.
She worked at the Hannibal National Bank and attended Gem City Business College.
During her working career she was a stenographer at A.P. Green Co., an office manager at Frank Pearl Motor Co. and secretary for the Monroe County Draft Board.
Mrs. Hickey was a member of the Paris Christian Church and the Mark Twain Women's Golf League.
She enjoyed fishing in Canada and was once offered a job as wildlife guide.
She liked boating on Mark Twain Lake and water-skiing.
Louise K. Todd

VANDALIA - Louise K. Todd, 90, of Vandalia, died at 11:27 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 5, 2004, at her home.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 8, at Waters Funeral Chapel in Vandalia.
The Revs. Bob Hoehn and Derek Grigg will officiate.
Burial will be at the Vandalia Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. today, Feb. 7, at the funeral chapel.
Mrs. Todd was born Jan. 8, 1914, in Condon, Ore., to Claude Alexander and Margaret Vance Baimbridge Graham.
She was married to William Buell Todd Sr. on May 3, 1940, in Van Buren.
He preceded her in death in 1967.
Survivors include two sons, Charles E. Todd of Bowling Green, Ky., and William B. Todd of Baldwin; two daughters, Joyce L. Nolan of Vandalia and Bonnie Sue Grubbs of The Villages, Fla.; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son, John Graham Todd.
Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church in Vandalia.

HANNIBAL - Robert E. Yager, 71, of Hannibal, died at 2:35 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 5, 2004, at Hannibal Regional Hospital.
Funeral services, with military rites by Emmette J. Shields American Legion Post No. 55, will be at 1 p.m. Monday, Feb. 9, at the James O'Donnell Funeral Home in Hannibal. Pastor Gerald Begley will officiate.
Burial will be at Grand View Burial Park in Hannibal.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 8, at the funeral home.
Mr. Yager was born Aug. 1, 1932, in Hannibal to Joe and Mary C. Biddle Yager.
He was married to Alice Coates on Aug. 27, 1956, in Hannibal. She survives.
Other survivors include three sons, John Yager of Hannibal, Steve Yager and wife, Ginger, of Memphis, Tenn., and Ronnie Yager of Hannibal; one daughter, Becky Sorrell and husband, David, of Hannibal; two brothers, Carl Yager and wife, Jean, of Hannibal, and Ben Yager of Vandalia; two sisters, Mary Jo Nelson and Susan Yager of Hannibal; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Kenneth Yager; his parents; and one son, Mike Yager.
Mr. Yager was a retired construction worker. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Hannibal.
He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict.
Pallbearers will be Mike Lempka, Rick Privett, Joe Nelson, David Nelson, Jesse Janes and Robert Brownell.

HANNIBAL - Melvin L. Larenson, 68, of Hannibal, died at 9:04 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2003, at Hannibal Regional Hospital.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 8, at the James O'Donnell Funeral Home in Hannibal.
The Rev. Dewayne Larenson will officiate.
Burial will be at Holy Family Cemetery in Hannibal.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mr. Larenson was born Oct. 24, 1934, in Palmyra to Emmett and Elmeta Meyer Larenson.
He was married to Pat Elder on Feb. 4, 1956. She survives.
Other survivors include one daughter, Catherine (Cate) Larenson of Liberty, Ill.; one special daughter, Nellie Worrell of New London; his mother of Hannibal; two brothers, Gerald Larenson and wife, Joy, of Hawk Point; and the Rev. Dewayne Larenson and wife, Penny, of Philadelphia; two sisters, Rosemary Pilsing and husband, Harvey, of St. Charles and Joyce Mester and husband, David, of Quincy, Ill.; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by one son, Joseph Larenson; his father; and one niece, Regina Mester.
Mr. Larenson retired after 34 years from the Board of Public Works, working as a pipefitter for the water department.
He was an avid hunter and enjoyed attending flea markets and auctions, especially the Rutledge flea market.
He was a Baptist by faith.
Memorials may be made to the Hannibal Nutrition Center.

Mrs. Hunsel was born May 5, 1972, in Branson to Debra J. Reynolds Johnson.
She was married to John Hunsel on July 9, 1993, in Troy.
He survives.

Mrs. Johnston was born March 30, 1918, in Shelbina to Hurley and Grace Marie Reynolds Studer.
She was married to Tommy Johnston in 1946, in Paris.
He preceded her in death Oct. 29, 1984.
Survivors include two brothers, Zoris Studer of Paris and Jerry Studer; two sisters, Marguerite Thomas of Raytown and Norita Stone of Paris; and several nephews and nieces.
Mrs. Johnston was a homemaker and a member of the Paris Christian Church.

Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 9, at the funeral home.
Mrs. Spratt was born April 12, 1914, in Taylor to Oliver and Bessie Hoke Davis.
She was married to Earl Spratt on April 15, 1930.
He preceded her in death Aug. 7, 1977.
Survivors include three sons, C.W. (Jack) Spratt and wife, Dorothy, of Quincy, Ill., Donald L. Spratt and wife, Opal, of Raymore and O. Charles Spratt and wife, Judy, of Hannibal; four daughters, Bessie C. Gibson and husband, James, of Quincy, Barbara R. Dodd and Sandra J. Morley and husband, Lyle, all of Hannibal, and Marsha K. McCullough and husband, Joseph, of Decatur, Texas; two brothers, Donald Davis and wife, Nancy, of Durham, and LeRoy Davis and wife, Marian, all of Quincy; three sisters, Violet Foltz and husband, John, of Springfield, Mo., and Wanda Bradfield and Martha Burgtorf, both of Quincy; one sister-in-law, Rita Davis of Quincy; 23 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two daughters, L. Darlene Naderhoff, Helen C. Spratt; one son, LaVern Spratt; two sisters, Neva Bradfield and Nedro Davis; three brothers, Elmo Davis, Pearl Davis and Kenneth Davis; one grandson, Kevin Spratt; and two sons-in-law, Gwinn Naderhoff and Herman Dodd.
Mrs. Spratt retired after 20 years as director of the Mark Twain Senior Citizens Center.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church.
Pallbearers will be Rodney Spratt, Kent Spratt, James Spratt, Herman Dodd Jr., Brad Gibson and Jeff Foster.
Honorary pallbearers will be her grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 9, at Grand View Funeral Chapel in Hannibal.

Burial will be at Grand View Burial Park.

Mr. Baxter was born March 20, 1938, in Hannibal to Sherman and Louise Griffin Baxter.
Survivors include one brother, Raymond Baxter of Rosamond, Calif.; and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Helen Walden.
Mr. Baxter was a lifelong resident of Hannibal.
For many years, he was a welder for Atlantic Building Systems.
He was a Christian by faith.
Memorials may be made to Blessing Hospice of Hannibal.

LOUISIANA - Billy George Sanderson, 74, of Clarksville, died Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2002, at the Smith-Barr Manor Nursing Home in Louisiana.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 8, at Collier Funeral Home in Louisiana.
The Rev. Alvin Young will officiate.
Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery near Louisiana.
Mr. Sanderson was born Dec. 21, 1927, near Eolia to William and Mary Frances Estes Sanderson.
He was married to Rebecca Sue Raney on Dec. 30, 1967, in Louisiana.
She survives.
Other survivors include one daughter, Shonda Stone of Lake St. Louis; two sons, Ronnie Sanderson of Festus and Donnie Sanderson of Clarksville; four grandchildren; and one sister, Mary Anna Dandridge of Bowling Green.
The family wishes to include as survivors, one son-in-law, Keith Stone; and one daughter-in-law, Vicki Sanderson.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Virgil Sanderson and Joseph Wooten.
Mr. Sanderson was employed by Lincoln County Highway Department as a road and bridge superintendent until ill health forced him to retire. He was a member of Eolia Baptist Church, Clarksville Boat Club and a 41-year member of Elks Lodge 791.
Memorials may be made to Pike County Home Care and Hospice Foundation, in care of the funeral home.
