Lyle E. Neill
Lyle E. Neill, 81, of Bethany, died Tuesday, March 29, 2005, at his home.
Mr. Neill was born April 6, 1923, the son of Robert and Clara Neill.
On Aug. 29, 1948, he married Gladys (Pash) Neill in Gallatin, Mo. She preceded him in death on February 10, 2004.
He leaves three sons, Richard Neill, Galena, Mo., Steve Neill, Kansas City, Mo., and Ed Neill, Kansas City, Mo.; a daughter, Annette Ramsey, DeSoto, Kan.; nine grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Louis, Ray, Sherman and Gilbert, and two sisters, Caroline and Gladys.
Funeral services were Friday, April 1, at the Roberson Funeral Home, Bethany. Burial was in Miriam Cemetery, Bethany.

Margie Greenall
Margie Greenall, 86, a resident of the Good Samaritan Center, in Olathe, Kan., died Monday, March 28.
Mrs. Greenall was born Nov. 5, 1918, in rural northern Missouri and spent her youth in Trenton, Mo. She lived in the Kansas City area since 1948. She was a homemaker and worked in the business office at St. Luke's Hospital for several years.
Her husband, Robert L. Greenall, preceded her in death in 1997.
She leaves a daughter, Beverly Masroski; a son and wife, Robert and Karen Greenall; a daughter, Cheryl Greenall; four grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.
Funeral services were Saturday, April 2, at the Melbourne Baptist Church, Melbourne, Mo., with burial in the Melbourne Cemetery. The services under the direction of the Roberson Funeral Home, Bethany.

Joseph J. Vance
Joseph J. Vance, 83, of New Hampton, Mo., died Saturday, April 2, 2005 at Leavenworth, Kan.
Born June 28, 1921 at Parnell, Mo., he married Lillian J. Farnan, on August 24, 1981. She survives of the home.
He served in the Navy during World War II. He was a lifetime member of the V.F.W. Mr. Vance was a farmer and bulldozer operator before retiring.
Other survivors are three children, five step-children; step-grandchildren, and two step-great grandchildren.
Mr. Vance has been cremated. Arrangements are by Bethany Memorial Chapel, Bethany. No services scheduled.
Alla Belle Finney
Alla Belle Finney, 75, Cainsville, died April 1, 2005 at her home.
She was born near Modena, Mo., on September 13, 1929 to Forest Loren and Ethel M. (Hamilton) Clark.
Alla was united in marriage to Joseph Dennis 'J.D.' Finney on February 6, 1948. J.D. preceded her in death on December 1, 1998. She was also preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Judith Finney; a great-granddaughter; one sister, Arnetta Richardson; and by six brothers, Raphael, Hubert, George, Doyle, Jim, and Paul Clark.
She is survived by her son, Rudy Finney (and daughter-in-law, Jean) of Cainsville; daughter, Michele Vaughn (and son-in-law, Shawn) of Cainsville; five grandchildren, Rick and Brian Finney, Dena Schooler, Ashley and Tyler Vaughn; seven great-grandchildren, Shelby, Bo, Nash, Trey, Jaden, Chasidy, and Jillian; one sister, Annie Snyder (and brother-in-law, Max) of Lineville, Iowa; four sisters-in-law, Wilma Grossnickle, Virginia Clark, Helen Welch, Linda Clark, and Edna Mae Clark; and by other relatives and friends.
After their marriage, Alla and J.D. lived on the Finney family farm. In 1957 they moved for J.D.'s construction work, returning to the farm in 1960 where they lived out the remainder of their lives.
Alla was a member of the Zion Baptist Church.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, April 5th at the Greenlee-Middleton Funeral Chapel in Princeton with Rev. Dan Moore officiating. Burial in the St. Paul Cemetery, northwest of Princeton.

Ermal D. Cameron
Ermal D. Cameron, 79, Pattonsburg, died Saturday, April 2, 2005 at his home.
He was born February 1, 1926 in McFall, Mo., the son of James LeRoy and Cora Ellen (Horton) Cameron.
On August 24, 1947 he married Vera Searcy. She preceded him in death on August 3, 1953. On February 24, 1956 he married Rosie Read. She preceded him in death on July 20, 2004.
Ermal was the former owner of the Little Acre Launderette in Pattonsburg. He also served over 20 years as Postmaster of the Pattonsburg Post Office, retiring in 1987. He graduated from Pattonsburg High School in 1944, and was a member of the United Methodist Church in Pattonsburg.
Survivors include four sons: Jim and wife, Suzie, of Cameron, Charley and wife, Nichelle, of Gallatin, Tracy and wife, Diane, of St. Joseph, and Ermal D. II (Rod) and wife, Mary, of Stockton, Illinois; three daughters: Mary Jo Hutchcraft and husband, Robert, of Union Star, Mo., Bonnie McFall and husband, Allen, of Dearborn, Mo., and Margie Jarrett and husband, Gary, of Kansas City, Mo.; two brothers: Joe Cameron and wife, Delores, of Pattonsburg, and Harold Cameron and wife, Imogene, of St. Joseph; 20 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Funeral services were Wednesday at the United Methodist Church in Pattonsburg. Burial with Military Rites in the Pattonsburg Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Jimmy Neff
Jimmy Neff, 32, Gilman City, Mo., formerly of Independence, Mo., died Thursday, Sept. 1, 2005, at a Kansas medical center.
Mr. Neff was born Sept. 7, 1972, in Chillicothe, Mo., the son of Harold Emery Neff and Elizabeth Ann (Marriott) Doolittle.
On Dec. 18, 1993, he married April Steinhurst in Bethany. She survives of the home.
He was a roofer for Watkins Roofing.
In addition to his wife, he leaves three sons, Nicklas Steinhurst, Kenneth Neff and Harold Neff, all of the home; his mother, Elizabeth Doolittle, Trenton, Mo.; father and step-mother, Harold and Marie Neff, Gilman City; three brothers, Timothy Michael Donelson, Blackburn, Mo., George Doolittle, New Jersey, Thomas Doolittle, Trenton; step-brother, Mike Wickman; sister, Catherine Sutton, Independence; 15 nieces and nephews; two sisters-in-law; three brothers-in-law; aunts and uncles, Donzetta and Maurice Prewitt and Dan and Melissa Kimball; maternal grandchildren, Herman and Orlene Marriott, Trenton; paternal grandmother, Winona Vanderflute, Trenton.
He was preceded in death by a grandfather, father-in-law, Rick Steinhurst, and nephew, Adan Sutton.
Graveside services and burial were Sunday, Sept. 4, at the Shelbourne Cemetery, southwest of Trenton. Services were under the direction of the Roberson Funeral Home, Gilman City.

Lennon Melvin Ruch
Lennon M. Ruch, 28, of Gilman City, Mo., died Tuesday, Aug., 30, 2005, as the result of a car accident near Jameson, Mo.
Lennon 'Lenny' Ruch was born Jan. 25, 1977, in Marshalltown, Iowa, to Larry and Carla (VanZee) Ruch. He was named for John Lennon of the Beatles.
His family moved to Missouri where he attended Gilman City High School and graduated in 1995. He was a cement mason for George J. Shaw Construction in the Kansas City area for seven years. He was a member of Local 518 Cement Masons and Plasterers Union.
On Aug. 5, 2000, he married Angela Huffman in Jameson.
In addition to his wife, he leaves three children, Jonathan Lennon, Lacey and Taylar Ruch, Gilman City; his parents, Larry and Carla Ruch, Jameson, and his sister, Kelli Cleaveland, Stewartsville.
Funeral services were Saturday, Sept. 3, at McWilliams Funeral Home, Gallatin. Burial was in the Pilot Grove Cemetery No. 2 near Jamesport, Mo.
