HANNIBAL Thomas Edward Foreman, 76, of Hannibal, died at 1:35 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 11, 2001, at his home.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 14, at the Big Creek Presbyterian Church in Rensselaer. The Rev. Michael Johnston will officiate. Burial will be at Big Creek Cemetery.
Visitation will be from noon until time of services Wednesday at the church. The Smith Funeral Home in Hannibal is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Foreman was born Feb. 11, 1925, in Ralls County to Paul Finley and Louise Brown Foreman.
Survivors include one sister, Renee L. Holloway of Eldon; five brothers, Robert M. Foreman, Dr. Phillip B. Foreman and G.W. Foreman, all of Hannibal, John J. Foreman of Vandalia and Paul M. Foreman of San Marino, Calif.
The family wishes to add that he is survived by several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary R. Burris and Helen E. Grimstad; and three brothers, William C. Foreman, Allen B. Foreman and Benjamin A. Foreman.
Mr. Foreman was a retired realtor. He lived in Denver, Colo., for many years and made his home in Hannibal more recently after retirement. He was a member of Big Creek Presbyterian Church. He served in the U.S. Army as a paratrooper with 82nd Airborne Division. He was a 1943 graduate of Rensselaer High School, a graduate of Hannibal-LaGrange College, the University of Missouri-Columbia and graduated from the University of Missouri Law School with juris doctor degree.
Memorials may be made to the Salvation Army or Big Creek Presbyterian Church.
Robert R. (Bobby) Williams

HANNIBAL - Robert R. (Bobby) Williams, 45, of Hannibal, died at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 9, 2003, at his home.
A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 14, at the James O'Donnell Funeral Home in Hannibal.
The Rev. Charles Emmett Hale III will officiate.
There will be no visitation.
Mr. Williams was born Aug. 19, 1957, in Jacksonville, Ill., to Albert and Wyoma Porter Williams Sr.
He was married to Arletha Mayfield. She survives.
Other survivors include one stepdaughter, Heidi Mayfield of Hannibal; one special aunt, Willetta Turner of Hannibal; four brothers, Albert Williams Jr., Donald Williams and Crawford Williams, all of Hannibal, and Richard Green of Rock Island, Ill.; nine sisters, Helen Green of Quincy, Ill., Karen Williams and Sharon Collier, both of Hannibal, Hazel Brophy of Galesburg, Ill., Wanda Hinton of Peoria, Ill., Charolette Mayfield, Wanda Burrage and Margaret Faison, all of Davenport, Iowa, and Mary Holland of Monroe City; three grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews who loved him dearly.
He was preceded in death by his parents; six brothers; and one sister.
Mr. Williams was well-known and well-liked. He was always willing to lend a helping hand.
He was a member of the Allen Chapel Church.
Cyrus L. (Buzz) Watts

HANNIBAL - Cyrus L. (Buzz) Watts, 91, of Hannibal, died at 6:25 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 11, 2003, at Beth-Haven Nursing Home in Hannibal.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 13, at Smith Funeral Chapel in Hannibal. Dr. Jeff Brown will officiate. Burial will be at Grand View Burial Park in Hannibal.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mr. Watts was born May 5, 1911, near Elsberry to William Thomas and Olive Barber Watts.
He was first married to Anna Mae Bown Watts and she preceded him in death Nov. 6, 1984. He then married V. Carrie Sidener Brown on Oct. 5, 1986, in Roscommon, Mich. She survives.
Other survivors include one son, Ron Watts and wife, Shirley, of Hannibal; one daughter, Beverly Bland and husband, Steve, of Hannibal; four grandchildren, Jennifer McConnell and husband, Gary, Damian Watts and wife, Michelle, and Brent Bland and wife, Andrea, all of Hannibal, and Shawn Bland and wife, Kristen, of Lake St. Louis; three stepdaughters, Ann Susemihl of Three Rivers, Mich.; Mary Taber of Goshen, Ind., Beverly Weisner of Poland, Ind.; two great-grandchildren; seven step-grandchildren; and six step great-grandchildren; two sisters, Pauline Locke and Mae Blackwell and husband, Bill, all of Quincy, Ill.; and one brother, Kenneth Watts and wife, Doris, of Quincy.
Mr. Watts retired in 1976 from Packaging Corporation of America in Quincy. He was a longtime member of Prince Avenue Baptist Church in Hannibal. He formerly taught Sunday school at the church and was deacon emeritus at the church.
Memorials may be made to Prince Avenue Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 13, at Greening-Eagan-Hayes Chapel in Clarence. The Rev. Beryl Cragg will officiate. Burial will be Maplewood Cemetery.

Mrs. Tils was born June 27, 1929, in Enterprise to Roger Glen and Agnes Elizabeth Smith Hutton.
She was married to Billy Freels on Dec. 24, 1948, and to this union one daughter, Glena Beth, was born. She was married to Fay Lyle Tils on June 13, 1953, in LaPlata. He preceded her in death Aug. 15, 1993.
Survivors include one daughter, Glena Beth Walker and husband, Danny, of Shelbina; one grandson, Dr. David Walker and wife, Miranda, of Washington; one sister-in-law, Lois Tils of Fayetteville, Ga.; one niece, Shirley Kidwell of Clarence; one nephew, Kelly Tils of Brooks, Ga.; and several cousins, including her next door neighbor, Oreta Imler.

LOUISIANA - John Edwin McCue, 85, of Whiteside, died Monday, Feb. 10, 2003, at his home.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 13, at the Whiteside Presbyterian Church. The Rev. Jim Williams, assisted by the Rev. Jack Banton, will officiate. Burial will be at Auburn Cemetery in Silex. Graveside military honors will be conducted by members of American Legion Post 370 of Louisiana.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the church.
The Collier Funeral Home in Louisiana is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. McCue was born Feb. 7, 1918, in Dover to William Chester and Mary Goodman McCue.
He was married to Mary White on July 1, 1944, in Hattiesburg, Miss. She preceded him in death Sept. 18, 1995. He was married to Theresa Yvonne Holmes on Aug. 30, 1999, in Paducah, Ky. She survives.
Other survivors include a brother-in-law, Linwood (Skitter) Yager of Eolia; and a nephew, Michael Yager of Eolia.

TROY - Earleign Rinke, 79, of Ferguson and formerly of Lincoln County, died Tuesday, Feb. 11, 2003, at her residence.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 13, at McCoy & Blossom Funeral Home in Troy. Father Tom Wissler will officiate. Burial will be at the Troy City Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. today and from 11 a.m. until time of services Thursday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Rinke was born Sept. 30, 1923, in Moscow Mills to Earl and Myrtle Borgelt Jones.
She was married to Robert L. (Bob) Rinke on April 23, 1949, in Troy. He survives.
Other survivors include brothers-in-law, Joe (Rose) Rinke of St. Louis; sisters-in-law, Lorraine (John) Stamelos of St. Peters, and Loretta Gutting and Donna Rinke, both of St. Louis; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Mrs. Rinke had been a homemaker. She enjoyed shopping and collecting antiques. She and her husband traveled throughout the United States, Mexico and Canada.

QUINCY, Ill. - Lois F. Strothoff, 84, of Palmyra and formerly of Quincy, Ill., died at 7:35 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 10, 2004, at Maple Lawn Nursing Home in Palmyra.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 14, at the Hansen-Spear Funeral Home in Quincy. The Rev. Robert Jallas will officiate. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery in Quincy.
The family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m. until time of services Saturday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Strothoff was born June 4, 1919, in Maryville to William and Marvel Brown Alkire.
She was married to Louis Strothoff. He preceded her in death.
Mrs. Strothoff was a graduate of Quincy Notre Dame and attended Quincy College and Patricia Stevens Modeling School. Lois was a published writer/poet, a professional model while living in California, and an avid gardener and bird watcher. She traveled extensively throughout the United States and "wintered" in Florida, Arizona and Louisiana before her illness. Lois was a member of St. John the Baptist Parish and was very active in school activities during her children's attendance there. She served as president, vice president and treasurer of the PTA. She was always on-call whenever needed to cook in the school cafeteria or bake for the bake sales and soup suppers. She also volunteered at Blessing Hospital.
Children were Lois' passion. She was every neighborhood child's "mom." She loved to teach the preschool children the three R's while her own children were at school. Lois was a bona fide "homemaker," a devoted mother to a daughter, LuAnn Moore and her husband, Jack, with whom she made her home in Hannibal; two sons, Steven K. Strothoff and his wife, Kim, of Bowen, Ill., and Carlyle J. Strothoff of Quincy; five grandchildren, Scott Strothoff of Quincy, Dustin Strothoff of Macomb, Ill., Joel Strothoff of Quincy, James Strothoff and his wife, Holly, of Quincy; and Steve Strothoff of Bowen; two step-grandchildren, Vincent Edward Moore of Hannibal and John David Moore of Sullivan; and numerous great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and an infant son, Michael.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday, Feb. 16, at the James O'Donnell Funeral Home in Hannibal. Pastor Rodger A. Lane will officiate. Burial will be at Barkley Cemetery in New London.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 15, at the funeral home.
Mrs. Yancy was born July 1, 1918, in Souder to Fred W. and Buela Gardner Souder.
She was married to Stephen Reggar Yancy on Aug. 29, 1948, in Las Vegas, Nev. He preceded her in death May 12, 1969.
Survivors include two daughters, Patricia Kathleen Stufflebeam of Broken Arrow, Okla., and Phyllis Ann Jackson of New London; one sister, Norabelle Reeves of Willow Springs; five grandchildren, Raquel Zeller, Stephen Wade, Scott Wade, Carri Hovsepian and Katie Jackson; seven great-grandchildren, Kayla, Zachary and Michael Zeller, Kristina Gavina and Halle, Logan and Koby Wade.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and three brothers, Clark, Hiram and Elmer Souder.
Mrs. Yancy was a homemaker and a member of Church of Christ in Hannibal.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 14, at the James O'Donnell Funeral Home in Hannibal. Pastor Tom Day will officiate. Burial will be at Grand View Burial Park in Hannibal.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 13, at the funeral home.
Mr. Gough was born Oct. 18, 1916, in Shelbina to Omer and Zanna Chapman Gough.
He was married to Alberta Hinson on July 27, 1940, in Monroe County. She preceded him in death April 25, 1993. He was married to Frances L. Zumwalt on Oct. 18, 1968, in Hannibal. She preceded him in death Sept. 5, 2000.
Survivors include two sons, Donald E. Gough and wife, Martha, of New London, Iowa, and Robert Gough and wife, Mary, of Hannibal; two daughters, Carolyn S. McPike and husband, Richard, of Gladstone, and Marilyn L. Lancaster and husband, Henry, of Independence; one brother, Merlyn Gough of Camdenton; one sister-in-law, Lois Gough of Hunnewell; two stepdaughters, Sharon Yohn of Palmyra and Donna Murphy and husband, Buddy, of Ernul, N.C.; three stepsons, John True Sr. and wife, Millie, of Hannibal, Gary True and wife, Martha, of Colonial Heights, Va., and Charles Zumwalt and wife, Erma, of Hannibal; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 17 step-grandchildren; 29 step-great-grandchildren; and four step-great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one son, William L. Gough; one sister, Nadine Steward; one brother, Virgil L. Gough; and one granddaughter, Amanda Zumwalt.
Mr. Gough was baptized in Salt River at an early age and was a member of Lakenan Christian Church. He was an avid golfer and bowler for many years.

Pallbearers will be Mr. Gough's grandsons, Jerry Gough, Terry Gough, Scott Gough, Brandon Sharp, Todd McPike and Timothy McPike.
