Ellen Irene Thomas, Harrisonville, died Sunday, March 23, 2003, at Crown Care Center, Harrisonville.
Services were Thursday, March 27 at the Dickey Funeral Home, Garden City.
Burial was in the Mullen Cemetery near Urich under the direction of the Dickey Funeral Home, Garden City.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Sycamore Grove Mennonite Church Cottage Fund and may be left at the funeral home.
Marjorie Lee Wilkey

Marjorie Lee Wilkey, 81, Harrisonville, died Sunday, March 23, 2003, at Crown Care Center, Harrisonville.
She was born Sept. 8, 1921, in East Peoria, Ill., the daughter of Ezra Logan and Molly (Huser) Clater.
In 1941, she married Marcellus Alden Wilkey in Kahoka.
Mrs. Wilkey worked for Oxford Electric Company in Chicago, Ill., as a supervisor for 25 years.
She later worked as a supervisor for Krenz Electronics for 20 years before retiring.
She moved to Harrisonville in 1984 and worked at the Harrisonville Trade Fair for several years.
Preceding her in death were her parents; several brothers and sisters; and her husband, Marcellus, on Feb. 27, 1986.
Surviving are a son, Richard Wilkey, and a daughter, Patricia Mueller and her husband, Bob, all of Harrisonville; a sister, Murle Goujon, Creve Coure, Ill.; five grandchildren, Lori, Richard, Lisa, Tammy and Rob; several great-grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren.
Honorary pallbearers were Fred George, Joseph George, Gary Sleister, Sam Sleister, Jack Goujon, Rob Mueller and David Lenhart.
Services were March 25, 2003, at the Atkinson Chapel with the Rev. Ernie Cecil officiating.
Vocalists were David Talley and April Miller with Pat Cecil as the pianist.
Arrangements were under the direction of the Atkinson Funeral Home, Harrisonville.
Burial was in the Fon Du Lac Cemetery, East Peoria, Ill., under the direction of the Remmert Funeral Home, East Peoria.

Carrie Alice Bennett, 94, Harrisonville, died Sunday, July 27, at Research Belton Hospital, Belton.
Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 6, at the Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church with funeral services following at 11 a.m. at the church.
Burial will be in the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery under the direction of the Atkinson Funeral Home, Harrisonville.
Contributions may be made to the church memorial fund.

Raymond Floyd Collings, 89, Harrisonville, died Tuesday, July 29, 2003, at Crown Care Center Harrisonville.
Visitation will be from 6:30 to 8 p.m. today, Aug. 1, at the Atkinson Chapel, Harrisonville.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 2, at the Atkinson Chapel.
Burial will be in the Orient Cemetery under the direction of the Atkinson Funeral Home, Harrisonville.
Contributions may be made to the Shriner Hospital For Children.

Loren Dale Cummins, 70, Grandview, died July 27, 2003, at his home.
Services were July 31 at the Atkinson Funeral Home, Harrisonville, with burial in the Orient Cemetery, Harrisonville.
Survivors are sons, Mark and P.J. Cummins; daughter, Teresa Yohe; brother, Robert Cummins; and a sister, Kathleen Vance.

Mary Frances Dale, 93, Harrisonville, formerly of Freeman, died Monday, July 28, 2003, at Cass Medical Center, Harrisonville.
Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 2, at the Freeman Presbyterian Church, Freeman, with services following at 11 a.m.
Burial will be in the Freeman Cemetery under the direction of the Atkinson Funeral Home, Harrisonville.

Wayne Groves, 77, died Sunday, July 27, 2003, at his home in Adrian.
Services were July 31, at the Atkinson Chapel, Adrian, with burial in the Crescent Hill Cemetery, Adrian, under the direction of the Atkinson Funeral Home.

Services were at 10 a.m. today, Aug. 1, at the Dickey Funeral Home.
Burial was in Clearfork Cemetery near Garden City under the direction of the Dickey Funeral Home, Harrisonville.

Melvin H. Terry, 83, and Nylene Smith Terry, 84, Wheatland, died Thursday, July 24, 2003, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Hickory County.
Mr. Terry was born Aug. 4, 1919, in Garden City, the son of Ellen and Tom Terry.
He attended Harrisonville High School and graduated in 1938, he then attended the University of Kansas City.
Mr. Terry served in the U.S. Army during World War II in Europe 142 Combat Engineer 42nd Rainbow Division.
After the war, he worked as a building contractor until moving to Galmey in 1966.
He bought Terry Bait and Tackle Shop, farmed and did carpenter work.
He was of the Baptist faith.
Mrs. Terry was born July 6, 1919, near East Lynne, the daughter of Charles T. and Nellie Mae (Bell) Smith.
She attended Archie High School and graduated in 1938.
She attended Central Missouri State College in Warrensburg.
She was of the Baptist Faith.
Melvin and Nylene were married Aug. 25, 1940, and had two sons.
They were preceded in death by their parents and a son, James Terry.
They are survived by a son, Phillip Terry, and daughter-in-law, Kay Terry, Weaubleau; six grandsons; and five great grandchildren.
Double graveside services were Monday, July 28, at Dooly Bend Cemetery with the Rev. Rick Walters officiating.
Military rites for Mr. Terry were provided by the Galmey VFW Post #9638.
A double memorial service was held at the Galmey Community Bible Church with the Rev. Rick Walters officiating.
Arrangements were under the direction of the Hathaway-Peterman Funeral Home, Wheatland.
Roy G. W. Springer

Roy Glen William Springer, 82, Camden Point, died July 24, 2003, at his home.
He was born May 17, 1921, the son of Amos Glover and Edna Lucille Springer.
Local survivors are Wayne Springer, Harrisonville, and Gail Springer, Gunn City.
A private burial will be at the Union Mill Cemetery, Edgerton.
