Lilly fell asleep in death (John 11:11,14) at Research Medical Center. She was one of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
She was employed at Cass Medical Center where she was well liked by most of the staff she came in contact with.
Lilly was born in Puerto Rico, raised in New York and eventually moved to Harrisonville to provide a better and safer environment for her children.
Surviving are her mother, Carmen, Puerto Rico; her sister, Norma, Harrisonville; her four children, Zenaida, Illinois, Jeanette and Gelson, both of Harrisonville, and Joshua of Kansas City; and three grandchildren, Mariah, Robert and Tanner.
She will surely be missed by all.
However, Lilly now rests peacefully awaiting the time when Jesus’ voice awakens her (along with countless others who like her fell asleep in death, John 5:28), to life in a peaceful cleansed earth. (Psalm 37:9-11; Revelation 11:18) There no resident will say “I am sick.” (Isaiah 3:24) Why? Because God’s original purpose to make the earth a paradise would have been accomplished. Isaiah 65:20-25. The meek will indeed inherit the earth. Psalm 37:11.
